Excellent choice made by my Goddaughter to go there. I adored the waitress, she was really on point. The food delicious and you get get your moneys worth. Coffee was excellent too!

Meals were good. Do not get broccoli if you do not like it hard. Mine was barely cooked and also browning. The waitress stated it is always cooked on the hard side. We got dessert to go and was good.

Definitely diner prices but overall a really nice place. I got pancakes and bacon with a juice for $10 m-f breakfast price, I wouldnt call it an exceptional value but the staff was very friendly, building is new and clean, they also have liquor and the desserts looked really good. Food came out fast and tasted good, Im not vegan but they do have a entire vegan menu. Id definitely go back and recommend it if youre looking for a local diner. Food, atmosphere and staff all nail the nice diner vibe.

I was really impressed with the selection and chefs specials at brunch. For a diner, they have a lot of vegan and vegetarian choices. Service was a little slow, but I was also there at peak Sunday brunch time. The servers were friendly and helpful where they could be. The food was tasty and the prices were reasonable.

What a great place for breakfast if youre tired of the same old same old. I had the Power Pancake which was not at all what I expected but it was delicious. A combination of fruit and eggs served with cinnamon butter. I know it sounds weird but it was so light, fresh, and different I cant wait to go back. My husband said his Meat Lovers Omelet was one of the best he has had. We are both very versatile make it from scratch cooks and find we can make better food ourselves than most places we eat at, but thats not the case at Vincetown Diner. Try it, you wont be disappointed. Special nod to their vegan menu and fully recycled/recyclable take out containers and plastic bags the use. As well as a great selection of Rashi Herbal Teas and local honey.

Just ordered from here and I am under impressed. I got the seafood special, and everything is over cooked and under seasoned. The salmon is as hard as a brick. The lobster quiche is soggy and the tartar sauce tastes like it has onions or something in it. Not worth the money in my opinion. Maybe i should have stuck to typical diner food

There is nothing like a great diner and the Colonial diner is that and more. We love to go because of the extensive vegan menu along with the menu of regular diner favorites that makes it possible for both my husband and I to eat. The food is always delicious with big portions and the service is always great.

Love this diner...If your in the Woodbury NJ area...this diner is worth trying...They served generous portions and service was top notch...All the staff is using universal precautions...trying their best to keep the diner COVID-19 free and cleanse. I will be back.

I have been to the place for breakfast quite often, usually I came in with my group of friends and we like to order alcohol drinks due to the nature of our work, we work night shift and it is always stressful. Every time We came here, we were great with good service and nice drinks.However, our most recent visited was fill with rude manner and judgement from the one manager at the site, refused to serve us alcoholic drink at breakfast because he afraid that they will lose their license, which I could totally understand if we were strangers, in fact, we are regular and being treated like they don’t even value us in the first place.It is a shame that We actually like the place and the food, but based on this recent experience, we refuse to come back and would not recommend any of our friends to come to this rude, elitist, judgmental diner.

Delicious breakfast, nice server, very clean dining room. The only issue was the less than pleasant man an women who greeted and seated. Well definitely be back and well cross our fingers there are other staff handling the seating.

I stopped here to eat breakfast with my daughter. The restaurant was PACKED but my waitress (Katie?) was SUPER nice! Our food was hot and my cup never empty! I even had some leftovers to enjoy this again.

Always solid breakfast and coffee. Pretty busy on weekend mornings, and weekday mornings past around 10am. But for a late night milkshake, in between meal, great place. Very responsibly priced. Staff not especially welcome to younger patrons

Spacious and modern might not be what you’d associate with a diner, but that’s exactly how the Colonial Diner is. Tasty burgers, friendly service and amazing dessert selection is worth coming back for. Prices are reasonable, slightly above your average diner. Definitely worth checking out!

Stopped in for a meal with the family. The service was quick and super friendly. The food is always good at the Colonial. I just miss the little jukeboxes at the tables.

First time back since pre pandemic. Had the eggs benedict florentine. Cooked to perfection. I also love that they use fresh spinach. Not that canned, watery garbage. Home fries crispy and delicious. Wonderful, attentive waitress. So glad things havent changed at the Colonial!! Missed you!

My Sister and I and two of our family went there for breakfast, and it was a disaster. Waited a whole hr for our food, that we didnt get. When we decided to leave the waitress then comes out to say our food is about to come out, and she never once checked in us to let us know our food was almost done. Several people came in, after us and received their food in a timely manner. That will DEFINITELY be my last time giving them my money.

Delicious food, great variety. I had the croissant french toast (awesome!) with a HUGE side of corned beef hash with a nice grilled crust on it (pics).This was only my 3rd visit to Colonial Diner. The first time had to have been over 5 years ago, and it was wonderful: great food & service. The 2nd time was what we swore would be our last: mediocre food, ridiculously long wait considering the place was half empty, and our waitress was fairly miserable. (I found out later that this was becoming the norm).I had read somewhere that it was renovated, with new owners/management, so when I had the opportunity to try it again, I did. Wow, I am SO glad I gave Colonial a chance to redeem themselves - SO so good! The only reason it didnt get a fifth star is that as many staff as I thought I was seeing, there was quite a wait throughout my time there. Otherwise, VERY impressed with the turnaround!

Great diner, a surprising, thoughtful vegan bright spot in South Jersey. The vegan menu includes several reimagined classics (gumbo, burgers, cheesesteak, pancakes, chickun parm, tofu green goddess salad). Menu rotates, which is kind of a bummer if a favorite disappears, but theres always something new to try. Service has been consistently good.

Upon arriving there was no wait, which was a plus. Our waitress was attentive and eager to take our drink and food order, another plus. However, that’s where the positivity of our dining experience ends with this establishment. The food was mediocre at best with the exception of the crab bisque. The seafood combination platter lacked flavor and the flounder was over cooked to mush. My husband had the shrimp and scallop Angelica and his scallops had a gritty texture as if they weren’t cleaned properly. The food could have possibly been overlooked and I probably wouldn’t have even done a review had the young “lady” (if you can call her that) who settled our check not been SO rude. We constantly heard her complain behind the counter prior to checking out. At one point she made the comment “I just can’t stand ignorant people” in reference to a customer, to the manager or owner or whomever the tall heavy set gentleman was behind the counter to which he replied “sometimes you just gotta let it roll off your back.” While checking us out, she was loud and obnoxious, slammed the pen on the counter for us to sign our receipt, snatched my husbands card out of the machine and shoved it in his hand while saying “here!” We then watched her snatch a mask from behind the counter and push past us to accost a patron sitting in the lobby waiting. She then very rudely shoved the mask in his face demanding that he wear it (the gentleman was already wearing a shield) She kept repeatedly saying here! Here! Wear it! My husband was excited to come home to New Jersey after being gone since 1994 and eating at this establishment....he was excited to take me to a local spot, and unfortunately, it was just an awful experience. We plan to bring our children to New Jersey in the summer but most certainly will mark this place off as somewhere to visit. If I could make a few suggestions, it would be these: it is VERY unsanitary for servers to have two inch long artificial nails, I would have them cut their nails down. Also, I would suggest that your hostess wear something she can actually work in appropriately. Her dress was so short and tight you could see her entire butt when she leaned over a table, also I would have the same hostess pull her hair back because it’s also unsanitary to have freely moving hair that long inside of a restaurant. She should concern herself more with customer service and interpersonal skills and less with trying to be the mask police.

The problem is you dont know which Colonial Diner youll get. Sometimes awesome and delicious ...sometimes you have go inside for your own curb side pickup after waiting over 15 minutes. The staff can be wonderful and they can be rude and snippy.Very inconsistent experiences

My son is vegan and Im close to it and their Vegan menu is amazing!! We went for Mothers Day. I had the Vegan Rurben and He had the vegan cheesesteak and both were delicious and got 2 meals out of it with the nice sized proportions. It will be my new go to and recommend it highly! Service was fantastic too!!!
