Great place for a bite to eat or if your a driver and need a place for a shower,meal,gas etc. I havnt been here in years and its still as good as it was when I was a kid. It has been painted and redone up a bit. But the food is still great!!! Large portions and a great price ! They even have the chicken to go in the gas station !! For a family of 4 it was less then $28!! Highly recommend the plaza slam you get a great breakfast at any time of the day. The staff is super sweet and are very accommodating. When you first walk in you can choose where you like to sit. Theres lots of things to look at! Once your done eating you can visit the large gas station side and play lottery or get a slushie at the slushie bar!!So come out relax and support local business
Ordered through Door Dash for the 1st time and absolutely LOVED our Food! We ordered Breakfast, & it was not only delicious but they gave great portions & even the pricing cant be beat! We looked at 2 other diners..and even McDonalds (who btw cant get an order right for anything! Atleast the one in Middletown!) But 301 Restaurant had EVERYTHING packed up & they left no small detail out! They provided EVERYTHING you could need, such as silverware packets, butter & syrup, even jelly & ketchup! I know lots of other places that cant even get our order correct, let alone send us condiments or even silverware...but 301 has our vote. They are officially the BEST! Weve been looking for a New place to eat as weve lived in Middletown for years now...IWe support small businesses & will definitely spend our $$ here. We will also be spreading the word on Social media in the MOT area. If youre interested in great food, at great prices..this is 8t..and they have such an assortment of things to eat..from breakfast to HUGE Burgers..and Meatloaf that I heard is delicious! That will be next!

First, despite what you would expect from a truck stop/travel plaza that looks like it was built in the 1970s, the restaurant is clean, looks pretty recently updated, and overall just has a nice inside. It has comfortable seating, large tv’s, and vintage style posters. It gives off an old school diner vibe and does have a counter to sit at too.Second, and most importantly, it’s the best place to get breakfast, and one of the best places to get lunch, in Middletown. It simply has quality food. If it’s classified as a diner then I would say it’s the best diner in Middletown. The hours are amazing as they’re open from early morning until decently late at night so you can go there for dinner if you want too. They also serve both the breakfast menu and the lunch/dinner menu all day, so get what you want.The inside of the actual convenience store area is nice too. The restaurant is connected by a door so you can enter there afterwards if you want.
Usually very good but this time food came cold. Waited so long and hungry so ate it anyway but very disappointed.

301 is the best in town. They serve breakfast all day which my son loves. We have been going here for years and never disappointed. The food is always fresh and so delicious. They have the sweetest waitresses too. If you want a really good meal served by friendly staff 301 is your place. 😁

Aside from every member of wait staff being courteous and engaging, aside from being conveniently attached to a gas station/store, and aside from the throwback decor, there is another reason to frequent this diner...the food! They have some interesting stuff on the menu and every one we tried was great. That grilled cheese supreme thing takes the cake though. Triple decker cheese with tomato and bacon and grilled texas toast...amazing.

This was the first time I have ever been to the place and had been driving for 10 and half hours. I was very hungry and saw that they was running a burger and fries special. I got the bacon double burger, fries and large Iced tea. With the special and my tip it cost me $15.00. When I picked up the burger and took the first bite I realized I just got the best deal for a double and fries. Yes it was expensive but it was well worth the price considering the size of the burger. I am very picky about my food and service both was excellent and I will stop there every time I go by to try other meals on the menu. Thank you for making me feel like I was at home eating dinner.Roy
