The children’s book section has gone WAY down in quality. I brought my son to pick out a book and to find a baby shower book to gift my friend. All I basically found were books that strongly push a certain political agenda. Cannot believe how far you guys have gone. You used to have a big selection of fun and heartfelt picture books, but you’ve replaced it with nonsense “history” sections. I’ve always preferred Barnes and Noble, but because of this I will not be returning.

I love browsing the aisles at Barnes & Noble. Happy to patronize one of the last bookstores in West Texas. I love the way the front is now organized and the touch of personal notes from staff is great. I am looking forward to the new CEOs continued emphasis on local input. Restrooms could be maintained better.

I love this place but Im never coming back again. Idk what older lady at the front was working but I went to pay & preorder about 3 books & I guess it was another worker comes up with Starbucks & the she just walks away leaving me at the register & the other worker asks her Are you going on break now? & she says in a rude tone (like I was supposed to know when she was going on break) I was supposed to but now I have to help her. It took so long for me to hype myself up to leave the house & all of that just left my body so I just said Nevermind, Ill preorder them off amazon. & left. I preordered a book set to release this month a few months ago & Im just going to let it go. Its not worth going in for

Wanted my cheesecake to be served on a plate and they wouldnt do it due to covid. Now I have most of the icing stuck to the container. Im glad restaurants are not doing that. Well not only was I upset about the pie. Now I got a drink that was mainly ice and not as tasty as I usually get it. I guess its my fault. I usually get it done by the same guy. Today I just thought they all knew how to make it the same. Thats what you get for thinking. All in all the people were nice.

Really nice store super friendly staff, bathrooms are bit rough maybe they were just having a bad day I dont know. But I would enjoy seeing the board game section broader than just Dungeons and Dragons. Not really a con or anything just personal preference. Just remember its a barns and noble so just call if you are looking for something specific.

More of a kpop selection would be nice, and I would highly recommend the staff to keep the Kpop albums behind the counter bc there’s a problem with ppl opening the albums and taking the photocards (one of the main features of the albums)

I always love going to Barnes and Noble! Great selection of books, magazines, and manga/comic books. They also have awesome toys for little learners and board games. Awesome childrens section that my kids love to shop in. They did move things around tho so take the extra time to get to know the new layout.

This Barnes and Nobles has more BTS stuff than any other place Ive been to! My 16 year old was so excited to see so many albums and merch!

Always a great atmosphere and coffee. I go there to do homework since Im not self disciplined to do it at my place. Always finish my homework and wifi doesnt go down!

I love barnes and nobles. I really enjoy their board game selection and the niceness of the crew members. It smelt really bad in this one but Im sure it was just a temp ordeal as it never is like this. The place was clean and everyone had a mask on

I was recently asked to leave a Barnes and Noble as a teacher who was meeting with 3 students, two of us had masks and we kept our social distance. In fact I sent 2 off at a time so I could work individually, but at one point we all 4 did need to be there. We were sitting at the children’s stage area. I also made sure prior the students meeting we had no symptoms and no fever.We were rudely asked to leave by an associate who told us that’s why they didn’t have chairs so people “couldn’t camp out. “ I had a staff ID on as well.I had been meeting students with no issues at the library in the same shopping center but that library isn’t open on the weekends and their deadline for advanced high school drama was that Monday.Being a teacher during a pandemic is hard. Some of my more gifted students headed to HS have to audition remotely for the advanced drama class. However some of my top kids don’t have resources like a laptop, so I had to meet with them to make a resumè with them. Hence this meeting. A total of four of us. On a stage... with masks ...Fun fact, we were asked to leave so we gathered up our things but we couldn’t just leave, they are 13/14 years oldSo I had to wait until their parents arrived. Standing there another 20Minutes seemed to break no rules and no one bothered us.I called to complain but the manager didn’t ask my name or any contact info, just said he would look into it and asked if we were asked to explicitly leave the store. When someone says “I need you to leave,” how else do you interpret it?I explained at the time I was a teacher and we were keeping our social distance but it did nothing .

I have spent countless hours in this place and it’s almost a second home to me, all my books have been bought at this store and I been shopping there for years . Usually I have an amazing experience there walk around check the books always room to find something new . I decided to buy “ The Liad” by Homer and maybe this item I been contemplating on purchasing for some time now . I picked up the item and diced to make a call to talk to see what the other person thought about the purchase since it was a bit expensive . So I’m going about my business talking on the phone by the entrance when suddenly I guess I got to close to the door when I was looking at the books they put by there most times and the item and door started ringing . I stoped and an employee there told me he’ll take care of it for me so he proceeded to silence it and give it back to me . I kept talking on the phone looking, when suddenly I see an employee starring at me an uncomfortable amount of time while I see the magazines as I’m still on the phone . I brushed it up it happens but then same employee keeps almost going everywhere I was going and kept looking at me so I started feeling uncomfortable. I decided not to get the item and put it back and maybe see what his reaction to that would be . So I put down the item and to no surprise he wasn’t to far from me . He heads towards where the item belong and check if I put it back !!! It was just an ugly feeling and I felt almost harassed . I hope no one experiences something comparable to my situation as this is an amazing place just never expected to ever feel harassed by what I think was the manager after further observation.

Low key, well organized. Always have sales. Starbucks coffee, juices, and deli treats inside the store! Coupons for cookies with every purchase. Love going to shop and read, then leave with treats!

Love this place so much. The Cafe is wonderful! Most of the time, the staff is super friendly and helpful. There a few of the staff that are not so friendly but for the most part, everyone is great! Worth checking out.

Good selection of books, and we found what we wanted. My wife has a teacher membership card and the cashier was more worried about not picking what was going to be used in the classroom than getting repeat buisness. This will let me feel better about price checking Amazon from now on to make purchases. I like supporting brick and mortar stores, but when they are in more worried about squeezing every dime out of teachers instead of getting repeat customers, I will save my money for other locations.

Best collection of literature, short of a humongous library, on Earth. Great variety and awesome staff.

A few more square feet of sitting area could easily improve this to a 5-star book store. The selection is the best in town. Tradition almost demands a few minutes browsing pages before making the purchase. There are too few chairs for the amount of customers.

One of the Best Barnes and Noble bookstores I have been to so far. Our first visit and we get to meet an Author! Her name is Lani Sarem. She wrote, Handbook for Mortals. I bought 3 copies and she signed all of them. I also signed up to be a Member and now get a discount on pretty much everything. The Starbucks located in the store, had friendly employees. The selection of books was extensive, like all Barnes and Nobles. We found good deals and some great puzzles too! The atmosphere was welcoming and not judgmental at all. We will return as often as possible!

Everyone her is so nice and helpful. I love that you can order online and pick up in store. Plus they text you when your order is ready. I also love the guys and gals in the Starbucks there too and the coupons with every purchase.

I usually love Barnes & Noble, I actually do. Though this past weekend my family and I went, when we were going to checkout our books. The 2 young people working the registers were practically trying to avoid us, being rude. Both talking about their breaks etc. One young guy walked off, the young girl was just plainly avoiding... Okay I understand they might have breaks or whatever, but dont try to be avoidant when we can clearly see and hear everything. I hope to expect better customer service next time.

This is a good bookstore with a nice selection of literature spanning many topics. Its nice to be able to grab a Starbucks and stroll or sit and read. My only complaint and the reason for 4 stars is that the music is a bit too loud when reading.

I love this store for the books & Starbucks. I have only interacted with an employee at checkout. No one asks if you need help finding something. Very quiet and chaos free. You can enjoy your time there.

I am still old fashioned. I like books and dont want an e-reader. I know its easier just to watch the movie. I used to date a woman that thought books were based on movies. I know they have novelizations of movies,but she literally thought somebody watched the movie, and then wrote the book. I would tell her that they couldnt do that, because it would be plagiarism. She told me that was not a real word. She also thought that idea was a word that was pronounced wrong by people from this area. She always said I have an ideal.

I love Barnes & Noble, this location is always nice to visit. It is always clean & the employees are always willing to help. The buy online, pick-up in store is a major plus!

One of our favorite places to go when we just want to get out of the house. Love the cafe. Tends to be where we hang out. The sandwiches and flat bread pizzas are fantastic though maybe a little overpriced. Great staff. Several of them recognize us when we come in and are prepared for our order.

Everything was great but they did not have the usual been a 50% off stuff that I always raid for school supplies.. however I did find the exact book that I was looking for and found a cup of bargain books for school.

Great selection of books for adults. I wish there were more books for toddlers learning to read. There are letter teaching books and then beginner reader books but nothing that fills the gap from learning letters to words.

Probably better option for children and their families, over half of the books that you find are for kids, the coffee shop feels cramped although well stocked. there are lots of different types of books, just limited stock in each category. public library, almost next door is a better deal, except maybe to say for the latest best sellers

I can only go to Barnes & Noble with cash in my pocket. I have just enough self control to keep myself from rolling around in the aisles and kicking up my heels from the sheer joy of being around so many BOOKS. I only love food more than books. Just barely. If I had to choose between a pile of books and a pile of food for my survival after the zombie apocalypse...it would be a hard choice. How would I choose between The Walking Dead comic books and giant pile of pasta and gravy at the Olive Garden next door?! I am happy to report that the staff at this store is very friendly and helpful. I think deep down, they are really only working there to afford a book habit because every employee is as passionate about books as I am. So, go shop for books at this store and ignore me if you see me standing in an aisle clutching one book and talking to a shelf full of other books as I explain to them why there can be only one going home with me today.

It is so nice having the time to walk into an actual bookstore. As with all Barnes and Noble stores I have been too, it was very clean and well organized. Not to mention having a Starbucks close by usually makes things even better. Their magazine selection was amazing.

The bookstore itself is really nice. Clean store and the staff is helpful. The cafe service can be a little slow but they have a good selection of coffee and snacks. One thing to note about the cafe is while they do provide Wifi they dont have any electric outlets! If you plan to sit here and do work for a while make sure you are charged up before arriving!
