Been looking at new beds for a while. Had an accident at work on Friday (fell off a roof) and called it a day. Stopped in to Big Sandys on a whim. Chantel had me lay on one bed that had an adjustable head and foot and then turned on the massage feature. Its now Monday and my back still feels phenomenal. I ended up buying the bed and power base. Cant wait to be able to sleep in my new bed. I highly recommend Chantel at Big Sandy. You wont regret it

We went to the Midland store today and Chantel Washburn was fantastic! She had us use their sleep assessment tool and then led us right to about 8 different beds (vs 40 :) where we found the perfect bed for us- the Serta iComfort cf3000 medium. Chantel was friendly, had a good sense of humor, and was knowledgeable. I highly recommend that you see her if you need a new bed. We also looked at the reviews online for this bed and it has wonderful reviews. We can hardly wait to get ours!

Chantel and the delivery guys were great. The problem is with the warehouse and how it is run or lack thereof. I rate the warehouse a 0. Chantel and the delivery guys are rated 5. Purchased a split king bed on November 30, 2020. Chantel was very helpful and knowledgeable during our purchase. Items were expected to be available in two weeks which there were not. After talking to Chantel the items were scheduled to be in January 4, 2021. On January 4th, Chantel notified us we would receive two loaner bases until our new bases come in and delivery was scheduled for January 8, 2021. Keep in mind, the items were charged the day they were purchased and six weeks had passed. On the 8th, only the mattresses were delivered. The delivery guys were very nice and followed up to find out the bases were in the warehouse 40 miles away where the mattresses came from. The warehouse manager agreed to send out a second delivery truck with the bases. When the second truck arrived, they had the bases but no remotes for the bases were sent. With the assistance of Chantel, the second truck traveled round trip 30 miles to get the remotes. Total delivery time was 3 hours and three trips.

I have a bad back and found out my matress was causing it. I was greeted by Chantel and she educated me on why I needed a Medium Firm mattress. Well in my arrogance I decided on a soft mattress and it made my back worse. So I called Chantel and she said no problem we will swap it out for another, but she said trust me for your issue a medium firm is what you need. Well she was sooo right. The new matress is amazing and Chantel was so nice, professional I was blown away by her. I am trying to recruit her to work for my company as its rare to find a worker as good as her. Thank you Chantel!!! FYI Big Sandy treat her right or Im gonna steal her.

The staff is very knowledgeable about their products. They go out of their way to be sure you are purchasing what you need; in terms of comfort, size and functionality. They also go out of their way to get you the best price and the most for your money! It’s tough spending a lot of money on something like a mattress but Consuelo makes it as painless as possible. I look forward to picking out a new mattress when we are ready because of our experience!

NEVER SHOP HERE!!!The people in the store are nice, but the customer service once you have bought something is the worst ever!They do not allow any refunds, or trial periods like all of the other stores in Midland. Once you bought it, it is yours and they will NOT make it right. They actually have a program where you can pay $140 to allow you to upgrade your mattress, but you have to pay the full amount of the upgrade as well.They are totally over priced. Amazon has the same products for hundreds of dollars less.They gave us the wrong frame, told us it supported Bluetooth, and it didnt. The frame we got was missing parts. It took over a month to get a service person to look at the issue.I wrote a bad review of the product on their website when they asked for a review. A Customer Service person contacted me and wondered how they could make it better. I told them all of the issues and they said they would get back to me. It has been two weeks since then.They do not care at all about their customers. Every person I talk to simply says, that they are sorry and cannot do anything to help.DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!

I recommend anyone interested in shopping for a mattress to go to this store. They were very welcoming and great customer service. They were honest and willing to help me find what would be most comfortable for my body. I will definitely be shopping there again.

Clean and well displayed store. The lady there was very professional, polite and friendly. She answered all our questions, helped us pick a matress in our price range and even helped us load the mattress (as I just dislocated my shoulder and couldnt help). Sales lady was very nice but when I got ready to leave I said on the edge of the bed and I slept right off and fell right on my tailbone I cannot believe I shouldnt have just stayed right there but being the honest person I am she helped me up because my husband was in the bathroom and help and he went and got my Walker and we got home

I shopped at the local Artvan here in Midland yesterday, 9/29, and was very unsatisfied. The first thing I asked was if the 20% off promotion was currently going on and the sales person responded with yes. After I selected a mattress and box, she told me it was the best deal Id find, yada yada, sales pitch. When I got to the register I asked her to add a sheet set and pillow that were right next to her to the cart, she even told me that the $20 price was fantastic for the pillow. She then offered me a mattress protector, sure, why not add that to the cart as well. I was told my total ($608.39), and didnt think too much about it because I hadnt put all of the prices together yet, so I had no clue.When I woke up this morning I decided to take a look at my invoice. The only thing the promotion applied to was the queen foundation. To make things even more interesting, I ended up paying full price for both the pillow and sheet set, not even the advertised price that she was bragging about! I went back in this morning to discuss this with the manager and he said he was aware of the issue already and was planning on having her give me a call later in the day when she came back in. I ended up getting the $30 back that I was overcharged on the pillow and sheet set, but he explained that the promotion is very selective on what it will apply to, even though the radio ad says 20% off everything, even sale price!. I didnt make a big fuss about it with him, because he doesnt decide what the promotions are.I just wish that the original salesperson would have told me that the promotion wasnt going to apply most of the things in my cart, or at least give me the correct prices on the items. I also wish that when I went in today, the manager would have asked me if I felt the issue was resolved; instead of refunding the $30 that I was overcharged and saying that there is no longer an issue because we fixed the problem. I had to take time out of my day to go back to get money that I shouldnt have given in the first place. The only reason I did not cancel my purchase is that I dont have time to continue shopping around for mattresses. But if this is how the company functions, then I at least know they will not have my business in the future, nor will I have anything good to say if asked.

Went there today to see their 50% off icomfort sale from the commercials and their mattresses were $1,999 On sale! ( so every day they must be $4000 for a queen set) Went over to other furniture stores in Auburn and Midland in the area and their icomfort mattresses were only $1,299! Its not a sale if you jack up your prices to just mark them half off! And again, Art Van Pure Sleep still did not have the lowest prices in the area! What a lie! If they lie about their biggest sale of the year that they have everyday and their 50% off sale what else are they lying about. I wont trust this company!
