Super fun, good food. Close to Muir Woods. Go around back--the covered outdoor seating is usually available even when its busy. Plus kids of all ages can watch the process through the windows!

Went there during lunch time but work flow was pretty smooth and fast so I can have mine in short time. Saved my time during the trip to SF.

For many years this was the world’s only In-n-Out Burger with no drivethrough. It’s surrounded by a lovely veranda. Same great food and low prices.There appears to be one other In-n-Out Burger with no drive through- in downtown San Francisco.

Burgers are the bomb. Its the fries that even though fresh are still not to be up to par. Otherwise they would be the Wall burgers of Cal.

Being from the east coast, I rarely get to opportunity to eat at in n out, but I always do when Im in town. Its been awhile since Ive had a double double, but I feel like the quality has gone downhill. I can honestly say we now have better burgers on the east coast. For 25 years, in n out was my fast food burger staple. I think that award now goes to Burgerfi.

Yet again another amazing In-N-Out. One of the few no drive thru locations. The inside looks the same. The line was out the door and around the corner but the line moved fast. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly.

This place was mobbed when I visited. There was a line out the door and around the corner. Given this, the staff was fast friendly and efficient. The restaurant was clean well lit and the wait for the food qas minimal. My only grip was the fries were really salty, there was a security guard there so do as you will with that information. Over all it was a good experience.

Although this business has a very wide service network, you wish it was more. I dont eat a lot of fast food. Despite this, I was impressed by the cleanliness of the establishment, the prompt service and the well-maintained and clean eating and drinking areas. The hamburgers are quite delicious. There is not a drive thru here but they are very quick even with a long line. Food was great and restaurant lobby and tables were clean.

Second time trying and still just ok. Fries are poor but burgers are decent.

First time to this location in Mill Valley...short wait to order @ 9 p.m. Cashier was young, enthusiastic, helpful and a good listener! He did NOT try to sell us anything additionally. Dinner for four 😋 just $24. Fries 🍟 were tasty, even without catsup. Double-double cooked to order w/ sautéed onions! Kids cheeseburgers were satisfying, although our 12 year old said it could have been larger. ✋ Waiting for order was about 8 minutes. Good clarification 👍 order when served - friendly & efficient!

California visitors always get excited about In-N-Out. I take them, and they like it, but theres not much for me. The shakes and fries are good, and I overheard somebody else other grilled cheese, and I thought Id discovered a hidden vegetarian option. But no, I just got a burger without meat, which was just okay. Ill continue taking excited people from out of state, but theres no other reason to go.

I got my food in plain white bags. The fries were ordered well and they were still soft. It was also quite grungy. Love in n out. First time ever being so disappointed.

A nice location off the highway, a bit hidden.This one offers a lot of outdoor tables, all around the building — that is convenient and allows you to enjoy your meal right away in times of covid, especially because there is no drive through!On the food side, it never disappoint :)The menu is very straightforward and small and the burgers are delicious.Pro tip: in case you’re not familiar with in-n-out and their secret menu, ask for your fries “animal style” — they have some melted cheese, bacon bits and special sauce and they are delicious!

Yep, great burgers, super friendly servers and lame french fries! Theres no drive through here so youll have to go inside, but its quick and everyone is super nice

In and Out never disappoints, however this location is always super busy and there is usually a long line to place your order. The waiting area can get packed which means you are waiting right next to people who are eating their meal. Not really great for anyone during this time of Covid 19 protocols. But this is the only location in that particular area, so having to wait is expected if you are craving a good burger!

I was going to a concert on Sunday in San Rafael and stopped here to eat. There was a long line ordering. Yet it took less than 7 minutes to get the double double and fries. Burger was perfectly cooked and delicious. Def will stop here and eat again.

In-N-Out Burger is California phenomenon and this location lived up to the name. I was visiting Muir Woods with a group of friends from out of state and so I expected our order to be delayed. I was quite pleased at the expedited indoor service. Everyone had a great experience! The food quality was exceptional, the place was clean, and our large order was mistake free!

I worked at In-N-Out in Southern California for almost 4 years, so I know what this job is all about. That being said, this place does not know how to handle a crowd. Mine, including three people ahead of mes order, was messed up. I understand its once in awhile but four people in a row is not what in n out is about. But the biggest thing was the lady who was handing out the orders was so incredibly rude it almost blew my mind. She was bitter, demanding, and questioning people. This is not what in n out is about.

OMG seriously the best burger on the planet! One bite and you have to drop the mic!

Visiting from Texas and a big whataburger fan, I gotta say In-N-Out lives up to the hype. Tried it a couple times now and its always consistent quality and just as good as whatburger if you like it.

This burger lives up to the hype. Especially given the price. This does not apply to the French fries though, which is very unfortunate. Not sure how you can bring a burger consistently up to such a high level but not really get the fries right. Thus only allowing 4 stars.

I dont get it. Why does every franchise have a line out the door? I mean, the burgers are fine. Rather, delicious actually. Its not the best burger ever, but also doesnt cost a fortune. I do like the old school pre Ray Kroc McDonalds vibe.

The food was below average for a burger joint (I heard it was great but found it to be very meh) but the price was insanely low and the service and staff incredibly awesome! Just for those to things I would absolutely go back and eat whatever they gave me.

Okay, In-N-Out. You win. I have tried you three times now and never been impressed before but that changed today. My biggest hurdle? Your fries are just different. They aren’t McDonald’s fries. Or Burger King. Or Culvers. They are unique. And something I had to get used to. But we now I did that *and* figures out the 3x3, it all just sort of clicked for me. I get the In-N-Out zeal now. Consider me a convert. This is a great location with outstanding service top to bottom. Thanks guys!!

Delish, always a line but so worth it. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Dont forget to try a 4X4 its 4 patties! The grill cheese is also on the secret menu and a kids fav, hold the onions is your kiddos are picky.

It was just like most In-N-Outs. So pretty good food and tastes fresh especially for the price. The staff were all super friendly and it was way faster than any one weve been to. There is no Drive-thru which was lame but the wait really wasnt too bad, maybe 5-10mins.

Came here before and really loved the burgers out here. It really needs a drive thru instead having everyone to wait indoors with a crowed area for everyone needs to be at 6 ft apart for there safeties. I love IN-N-OUT

I can really say In & Out is where it is at as far good food in San Francisco. My husband and i could leave full and happy for under $20.00 that is rare in California. Make sure you stop here for sure and have the lemonade and a #2, Or even look up their secret menu to get an animal style burger.The one thing i can say it be prepared to wait for your food and seating is hard to find sometimes but without a question its worth every penny and every minute of waiting.

Do not recommend. terrible service. slow. a crowd of people. everything is mixed in the package with the order. the bunker and potatoes are all crushed. instead of cola, a water called tea is poured. unpleasant 🤢.

I hadnt had Double Double and fries in 6 or 7 months. The burger was great and fries were extra good. A little crispy, which I requested. The manager or shift supervisor brought the fries out to me(extra time for very fresh and hot) so I could enjoy my burger fresh of the grill! I did! Its a tough location with no drive thru but they make up for it in great service and quality food. Thanks In & Out!

I’m from Columbus, GA and have heard about In N out burgers for a while. This was my first time trying them, and it was delicious and served well by the staff. Thumbs up! I’m on board with the best West Coast burger chain!
