I did not expect that the servings are huge and affordable plus the taste is really good. (On TOP 1 of my list) The place is cozy to just sit outside and eat. This will be the breakfast go-to place for our entire group of friends! all of the staffs here are warm and welcoming to us knowing that we are laughing out loud so early in the morning when we came and try it there for the first time.

The restaurant changed a lot since my last visit, but in good way. Now they have more tables and different options like both or outside seating too. The food here is amazing like before. I had Greek Skillet with pancake. Everything was perfect and service was fast. My friend had veggie omelette and he really liked it. They also have nice crepes and many other dishes to choose from.

We used to go to their old location back in the day and were sad when they moved. Love the new location and the set up! The food was delicious and service was 10/10. We ordered the Crepes, the Denver omelet with a side of green salsa and from the kids meal their mini pancakes and fruit. Everything was amazing! We came on Fathers day and the wait was about 1 hour but they do text you when its your turn so we were able to go to a nearby park and wait for our turn.

Lovely place to sit outside when weather permits (which is most days from April through October in SLC), but the inner dining room is just as engaging. Looking forward to returning!

Every interaction with staff from front desk to servers to bussers was great. The server getting out drinks was super personable and friendly and joked with me. This is our absolute favorite breakfast and lunch spot. I’ve been coming here since I was a nanny in college in 2005. The owner always recognizes me, the servers know our drink orders and have seen me start as a single college student to now a mom of three. We loved their old location and love the new one even more. Their food is such a good deal, food is always so well made, big portions and amazing choices. I’ve had almost everything on the menu and it’s all delicious. My favorites are: Benedict Florentine, biscuits and gravy, Jim’s hot cereal, cheese blintz, Cobb salad and turkey and avocado sandwiches. Their fries are so good, fresh cut and come with delicious fry sauce. My kids beg me to take them here all the time and love their kids meals, which are a screaming deal. I’ve tried to like other breakfast places in the area but no where has as good customer service or food. During the pandemic I ordered takeout a lot from them, but have happily returned now that we are vaccinated. Sadly we are moving out of state soon for a new job, and these guys will be the restaurant I miss the most in Salt Lake City.

Fabulous!! I stumbled into this b-fast delight completely from a car breakdown (there’s an auto repair next door) and was TRULY impressed!! The food superb; probably the best damn homemade corn beef hash I’ve ever had…..and served in a beautifully designed hip and fun 🤩 spot. What’s more, the service is genuinely caring, fun and just really good! Like when one server overheard me asking for a refill on the cup o’ Joe he sprang into action. Everyone working here does it with a smile 😃 and a truly real one at that! And why not?….as I’ve always said and believed, when you encounter good, friendly, genuine service, where the Team looks happy at work; it’s always because they’re part of working WITH (not for!) an owner/manager that CARES about them!! So when I paid the check and met the owner at the cash register, it easily makes sense. As we chatted and became instant new friends, she is the shining example of a true restauranteur! When I asked, “are you a Chef?” her response, “ohhh no, I’m a people person”. Enough & well said! The definition of the word “hospitality”; looking after someone else (clearly she does with her Team) exists at this fab breakfast spot off I-80 in the Eastern foothills of SLC! And I know, I’ve been in hotel management for 30 years. Ahhh and the food (and their own house blend coffee) with yummy to go treats is perfect too!!

Man, this place got so much worse. I don’t know if y’all couldn’t get back your original staff with the new location, but everything has definitely been knocked down a couple notches.Right off the bat, everyone here is really unfriendly. I used to come into the old spot and grab coffee and breakfast and hang out for a while, but the new spot is so dreadfully Millcreek. The “we really want to be modern from 2015” appearance and the cranky “I’m better than you even though I work at a dive brunch spot” staff combine for a really truly unpleasant experience. And I haven’t even gotten to the food!Unsurprisingly, the food is bad too. I mean, the coffee is bad and it’s a breakfast spot - I feel like that speaks levels. Coffee was really burnt and filled with scum and grounds. The food came out cold, and one of our plates had a hair in it. I think we got the Chilaquiles and the Huevos Rancheros. I got the impression that it was made by someone who didn’t understand, on a very basic, conceptual level, what either of those things are.For the chilaquiles, the tortilla chips were obviously straight out of a bag, really soggy, drowning in cheap tomatillo sauce, and accompanied by some super unpleasant, horrifically greasy, alarmingly cold eggs. The rancheros were drowning in similarly cheap cheddar cheese, bland, mealy potatoes, the same awful eggs, an entire half of an avocado, and an ungodly amount of sour cream.I can accept bad food, but expensive bad food from a place that was so great is pretty hard to stomach. I couldn’t be paid to come back here.

Ka
Review №44

I’ve been to their old location and can give some feedback on their relocation and menu changes. So in an effort to keep it short and sweet, I’ll highlight the good and the bad.The good is at their new location they’ve got much better parking capacity and are easier to get to. Another plus is that their portion sizes have increased which makes their food even more worth getting. I personally got the Mexican skillet and it was packed full of flavor and was very delicious. The bad. Only complaint I have about their menu choices/food is that since I’m gluten intolerant I can’t have any of their pancakes or toast (which is about 1/3 of their meals) all I get is corn tortillas as a side.. which I don’t mind using when I’m having a Mexican skillet but I don’t always want to get that. I guess I’m stuck eating only eggs and meat? 🤷🏻‍♂️ needless to say if you have an allergy like mine you’ve got limited options which might not make it worth eating here. The REALLY bad is that if you’re going to eat there during the summer, eat outside. Inside it’s a freaking sauna, and it was actually cooler outside in the 90 degree weather than inside the restaurant. They have the open kitchen directly next to where most of the seating is and they left two doors open for “air flow” while pumping the AC. Needless to say when the place is full, expect to be in sitting in sweat. Which leads me to my second point. The service isn’t as good as I’d hoped. Since it was hotter than hades in there, I drank all my water and the servers barely served our table. No glass refill, no “how’s the meal,” a whole lot of nothing. I had to get a server’s attention in order to get togo boxes. Only thing they were good at was taking our order, giving us our food, and quickly giving us the check and running away so they didn’t have to do anything else for us.So as you can tell, the bad outweighs the good. You won’t be really expecting me to come here very often, if at all anymore. This place really needs to pick up their game when it comes to the customer’s experience.
