This is my second time to repair my car at Caliber in 3 years. The first repair was great and thats why I came back. I am not happy with the second repair (replace cracked rear bumper) because my car was used during the 3-week repair. I checked the odometer after I picked up the car and the odometer went up over 200 miles in 3-week stay at the shop.
Friendly staff, quote was done fairly quick. process was explained nicely, we got texted for work updates. completion date was pushed about a week but there was a holiday and some parts needed was a little slow on shipping. Overall very satisfied with their work.
I got work done on my car - and my insurance paid for it. If I were paying out of pocket, I would definitely choose a different place as Caliber charges a lot of money. With that in mind, here is my review -Joel was extremely helpful and friendly in all our communications. The quickly assessed the damage, notified my insurance. I had no trouble getting an appointment. They returned my car within promised timeline as well. They kept me up to date on every thing that was going on.My car rental (enterprise) picked me up from the shop and I was able to drop the rental car off at the shop while picking up my car. This was very convenient. I was pleased with the work they did as well.Overall, extremely satisfied with the quality of work. But they charge too much - probably due to lot of overhead. I would come back if I my insurance is paying, I will look elsewhere if I am paying out of my pocket.
Perfect Repair and Customer Service. Terri Gilbert is the BEST.
We had our crashed Toyota repaired in this shop. The entire staff was helpful, friendly and professional. That always help the process of repairing a car much better. Whats even better is how amazing the job was done and it was delivered ahead of the promised date. I will keep visiting this shop for services they provide.

They did amazing work on my vehicle and gave great customer service with good updates.
Great service from the staff in the front office to the employees & hard workers in the shop! Very clean and professional.
Very happy with their work!! They were very courteous and made my car look beautiful again!!
I went for a body repair of my Toyota Corolla, they serviced it so well that I feel like driving Merc-Benz C Class now.
They were very helpful and replaced my sun visor in very short time at not cost. Extremely professional and had a very good experience
Best repair experience I’ve had on this car. Painless process with friendly agents.
Friendly staff! Outstanding service and quality!
Do not accept a rental car from this business.I was promised 5 days of rental car and then I got charged on Monday morning from enterprise.I called o I got the on hold run around deal. The owner will not pay it.. after speaking to a nearby shop I was informed that once the deductible is paid up is when they Care about insurance check.horrible .the are inchootsy with the rental car company.and the price was higher than my insurance company.Four ways your body shop could rip you offFriday, November 16, 2012 1:46:43 PMShare and Enjoy:1Most mechanics are honest and perform good work for fair prices. If you end up taking your car to an unscrupulous repair shop, however, you could be out thousands of dollars -- or even drive off with an unsafe car. U.S. drivers lose billions of dollars each year because of faulty repairs, according to the Coalition Against Insurance Fraud. To protect yourself, its important to know the types of scams you may encounter.1. Inflated damageIn this scheme, repair shops try to get as much out of you or your auto insurance company as possible, according to the National Insurance Crime Bureau (NICB). They may perform unnecessary repairs and bill your auto insurance company for them. They may charge the insurer for repairs that were never actually performed. They may even cause damage intentionally to trick the insurance adjuster into thinking more repairs are needed. In some extreme cases, according to the NICB, a car may look as though a hammer had been taken to it.2. Purposeful underperformanceThis scheme involves cutting corners. The body shop charges for work that never gets done and for parts that are never installed. Sometimes, according to the NICB, the body shop will paint parts so that they look new, use inferior or defective aftermarket parts, glue glass together or otherwise perform shoddy work intentionally to save costs on their end, while charging you (or your insurer) the full amount.3. Air bag fraudAir bag replacement is expensive. A shop might charge upwards of $3,000 to you (or an insurance company) to replace this vital safety device, according to the NICB. Air bag fraud occurs when mechanics use salvaged, stolen or -- believe it or not -- already deployed air bags that they bought on the black market for just $100 or $200. Naturally, they still charge you or your insurance company for a brand new air bag.4. Padding the billYou might get a fair-sounding estimate, but when you get the bill, the charges are astronomical. Sometimes, according to the Coalition Against Insurance Fraud, a repair shop will fill in the dollar amount after youve signed the estimate. How to fight backA shoddy repair job can mean higher repair bills down the road -- or a heightened risk of accidents if your car isnt safe to drive. Moreover, if enough repair shops overcharge auto insurance companies, insurers will make up their losses in the form of higher premiums. To fight back, prevention is key. The Coalition Against Insurance Fraud provides the following tips:Rely on a repair shops reputation. Ask friends and family whether they know of any honest mechanics, and look for certification from organizations like the National Institute for Automotive Safety Excellence.Inspect the shop. Does it look professional? Is it tidy? Is the staff willing to answer your questions?Get a written estimate and require that the body shop get your permission before the repair bill passes a certain amount. Get that promise in writing, too.Ask to see the repairs. If parts were replaced, ask to see the old ones.Be sure to ask for an itemized receipt. It will help call attention to suspicious charges.
Milpitas location friendly staff excellent customer service
I was very pleased with my experience with Caliber Collision and with Joel. They provided excellent customer service and repair work on my beloved Mini Copper. Thanks Caliber
Car wasnt put back to original condition. They didnt replace my door hinges on my Yukon. They told me in person they were buying new hinges for my passenger door. They also billed my insurance to “cover interior for welding” they never weld squat! Was very dissatisfied with there work! Now because they didnt do the work right the first time I have to bring it back! Bumper is not aligned right! Very unhappy
Hornest and Great work
Teri was great. Took care of everything. Great service
I had a wonderful experience at Caliber Collision the service was so great Angie was super helpful with her SUPER EXCEPTIONAL customer service and her professionalism. She gave me an estimate on my vehicle and took care of all the details. The work done on my vehicle was fantastic!!!!! I highly, highly recommend Caliber Collision in MILPITAS for all your car repairs.Thank you Angie you are the best estimator EVER!!! Thank you Caliber Collision for your amazing work.
Service was excellent professional and fast very satisfied thank you Caliber Collision
The staff was efficient and friendly. My car was repaired on time and I was kept informed throughout the process.
Very satisfied with the level of service and work.
Caliber always gets things done so quickly. Terry is always so informative and helpful throughout the entire process. She really makes it worth coming to Caliber.
They are very conscientious and do quality work and are very professional. If u are paying out of your own pocket they let u decide what quality of parts including uses parts!; great if u are fixing an older car
Painted my hood a total different color than the rest of my car, then tried to act like it was the same color.
Really bad customer service. I went there for car repair and they promised to complete the repair in 2 weeks but they did not finish the repair in promised time. I was okay because I understand that delay can happen but 2nd time car was not done in promised time. The adjuster was so rude and she did not inform me about the repair status. I got two time automatic email about promised time but never she called me. Every time I had to call to ask about the repair status. Also they did not finish the repair job at the delivery day. They did not put the airbags warning and vin labels. After talking to her she said the labels will come in mail and you can put by yourself. This is ridiculous.
Friendly & helpful looking forward to repairs here
I took my car here with bumper damage. They gave me enough information to proceed which was easier to decide from my side. Prompt service. Good communication between each service requested.
I was overwhelmed by the attention from the front desk - very courteous and professional
I got my car estimate here @ caliber milpitas.Angie took care my estimate she has the knowledge, she is very helpful. She did the right estimate that needs tobe done & true fix.it meets my expectation.I highly recomend this shop.Thank you! Dandee
Loved their service. Very quick and a kind staff. Especially Junior, who resolved my case in 48 hrs and I was back on track with my repaired car. Thanks a lot guys!!
I actually waited several weeks before entering my review for FCC, making sure the quality of work and paint was done correctly. I have one word about the work, “awesome”! I took my Porsche Cayman to FCC after the front right corner was scrapped when parked. I was greeted by Greg, the Assistant Manager at FCC, who was friendly and informative. He provided the estimate and explained the process they would do to correct the damage, as well as, how long the job would take. I was also given a tour of the work area and paint station. The area was huge and I was amazed at how clean the work it was, that already to me was a huge plus, since I went to two others that werent as nice. Once I felt comfortable, I dropped my car off the following Monday and as promised, my car was done at the allotted time. My Porsche looked brand new. I loved the fact that an area of the front bumper was fixed that was not part of the accident. Another plus, was that my car was washed and ready for me to go. I had a great experience and would highly recommend FCC for any future work (knock on wood). Please ask for Greg, he is great and will take good care of you and your vehicle.
Excellent repair and service.
Terri did great job. The dent on my car door was fixed. I was thinking to change car headlights for long time as they were foggy but they have polished the lights and they look brand new now. I wasnt expecting that from them. The staff is really really sweet. Awesome team.
Hi, these guys are real professionals. The staff is quite friendly. They converted my old Toyota, into brand new looking at quite a reasonable price and just in 3 days. They complete what they promise to do and absolutely within the time frame. To my surprise, they promised me a complementary detail service within a month! Thats cool!!
Exceptional work. Communicative. R̶e̶c̶o̶m̶m̶e̶n̶d̶e̶d̶Update: Tried to do some work on my car to fix the misaligned bumper and found that it had been zip-tied, glued (epoxy), and screwed into place. I understand the last guy screwed up but does not mean you can make it worse. Then quoting me $700-800 to fix it. Shady and shody. Not coming back ever.My first (and hopefully only) major car repair experience. I chose Caliber because they are All-State approved (other guys insurance, so I cant speak on costs since it was all payed for by the other party). Everyone was courteous and so patient with my lack of knowledge of the process. Karina at the front desk is very sweet. I am so thankful for Angie; she did my estimate and kept me informed through the whole process; they have a great texting system and she called me as well to keep me updated. Vince and Chuck(?) were also so patient and understanding when I had to come back after I got my car back (more on that later).Scheduling for towing and getting a quote appointments were all met on time. Car was even finished a day early. The repair itself: I had to have front fender and both door panels on the driver side replaced, in addition to replacing my side rear view mirror and fading the paint on my rear fender. After it was like it never happened and it arguably looked better than when it went in. It smelled like they even detailed it a bit for me before I got it back (I say smelled because I detailed it 2 days before my accident, so no visual difference).Three points of critique:1) I gained a tweeter (smaller upper front door speaker for those who dont know). Makes me question how detail-oriented they are. Doesnt bother me because I was planning on getting tweeters anyway but shouldnt someone have noticed when they took out my old door that I didnt have them? Plus its a little piece of plastic they could have just taken from the old door. Part was long-gone by the time I brought it up.2) They furthered damaged my front bumper attachment when they took it off to fix the fender. I say further because it seems my car was in some kind of front end collision before I got it and they last guy did some shoddy work.3) Misalignment of front fender. They wiggled into place for me on a return visit.I took a week after I got it back to examine the repair and plus were all busy. I came back and Vince took a look; he was very patient and explained some of my options for my front bumper. We had a laugh about the tweeter (again, doesnt bother me). They did the best they could but the attachment is clearly not ideal; lots of paint chips and the last guy definitely broke it. Angie drew up an estimate for me, but Im going to explore some other options first. Went back in today and Chuck(?) fixed the fender alignment; since I was so focused on the bumper last visit. Both return visits were quick, no appointment needed and no fuss; I explained my issues, showed them and everything as addressed. Excellent show of their warranty.Despite my three points, I would still recommend them. Its not their fault there was previous damage; other parts definitely came out better than they went in. I appreciated that they were very communicative during the whole process.
So far we have had two accidents. The first time my insurance company recommended this place. It was so good, the second time I simply told the tow guy (yes, it was that bad) to take my car directly here. The people here are great, they know what they are talking about, and try to be as helpful as they can be. I had repeat requests over phone for things in the car, and they were patiently entertaining me. I will definetly go here in case of accidents in the future(hope not).
The repair and paint job came out excellent. I was really surprised at how little time it took to be completed as well. If we need more work in the future, we will definitely use FCC Sunnyvale; in fact, weve already recommended it to a friend! Thank you for you hard/excellent work!
After getting an appointment and going for a quote, the lady there told me - after making me wait for 20 minutes - she didnt have time for me to price out scratch repairs on different panels. Excellent. Why was I there again?

I have been FCC collision Milpitas twice to fix the body damages on my Camry. They did greats jobs with very attractive prices. The first one is to replace the quarter panel and repaint the rear bumper. The color matched the body pretty well and the repaired parts looked like brand new. The second time is to repair scratches on front body and replace one tire. As expected FCC collision accomplished the job with excellent quality under very low charge. I think FCC collision Milpitas offers excellent services with very attractive prices. I would recommend this body shop to my friends.Update: In FCC collision Milpitas, I just had the hood repainted and it looks like brand new and the color matches the body pretty well.
I love the service! My cars paint job is professionally done in three days. They even wash my car and clean the carpet for free as a courtesy. The whole process is clear and smooth from initial cost estimation to the day I pick up my car. I definitely recommend their services.
They really did any great job in small-time. Did a great job on my car never loved it better than it has before Ive got it looks great did a wonderful job on it
FCC is super awesome they are great not only with their repair service but also very professional and neat work before time. We were so happy with the detail oriented service they provided on top of that I was amazed to see my car trunk so neat they returned the car so clean and tidy :) Thanks to you guys!
FCC @ Milpitas provides excellent post-repair warranty service. My car was damaged due to an accident. Insurance assigned FCC for the fixing. This is the first time I learn about FCC. After repair done, we drove for a few weeks and heard road noise at the rear. I brought it back to FCC for checking. Darius helped patiently to identify the problem with a test drive. Problem was resolved within a day. Now Im happy on the road again. Really appreciate this fast and great warranty service.
Great job !! I felt I was in the right body shop from the moment I walked in the door !! Nice Clean - comfortable waiting area and well organized & maintained Clean shop area !! Your staff - well groomed and professional at all times!! Friendly & knowledgeable!! Incredible !!! Thank you all so very much!!! I will tell everyone I can this is The body shop for you !!
Great, quick service. Customer service was excellent. Body work was very good. I would definitely go there again if needed.
The people working there are very friendly and the service very timely. Im also very satisfied with the quality of service. My rear bumper looks brand new again. Thanks.
Not a good experience at all in Milpitas location. We were dealing with a lady named Terri. She said the car was ready and when we went for pick up, our 5 year old noticed that the bumper was nor aligned properly. She had to confess that they did not had that part, so she will have to order it. She asked us to come back again on Tuesday. We had been given a rental car during the memorial day weekend and caliber collision wanted to save on that for 3 extra days. Since they could not do the repair on time, they told us wrongly that our car has been fixed and we can pick it up on Friday. We had to cancel our vacation since the car was delivered very late on Friday as well. There was no clear communication as to when we will get our car back.We were miscommunicated and they were going to return us partially repaired car if we wouldnt have noticed. We felt that they are not honest.
FCC did a fantastic job on the repair to the passenger side bed fender of my F350 pick-up. The finish work was impressive and was as good as OEM if not better which his no easy feat given the size of the vehicle and the black color which has the tendency to show any and all flaws. The staff was friendly and professional. I was given a tour of the shop which was organized and clean. It was busy and they had an array of repair work from fairly simple to very complex (e.g. entire front clip replacement on a uni-body car). They had recently installed a new paint booth which is a great sign that they are staying current and it shows in the quality of their service.I highly recommend them when considering any auto-body repairs.
Super friendly and nice.. they also have a mini lounge
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The work their team did on my car was great!!!I would certainly return for any similar services I may need in the future.
Clean. Well organized. Professional. Great quality.
FCC did a good and patient job on my car, and they give me free ride many times. They are trustful.
My 2004 Prius got backended at the local supermarket parking and the insurance recommended FCC colision center. They did a superb job on the repair and Greg did a great job following up on the entire process. They even matched the paint correctly so that it looked like it was just out of the factory. I can recommend FCC Collision to all my friends and family. They are Diamond certified and stand by the quality of their work. They even called me back to make sure everything is fine after a couple of days. Thank you FCC!
This place is a complete rip off, especially if you are a business. They took almost a month to repair 2 doors on a transit, and we were overcharged. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! They cost our company time and had terrible customer service. Darius V. is not to be trusted to follow simple, agreed upon instructions. Dont waste your time or money here.
UPDATE:This is not my first repair with Caliber Collision, its my second or third, this time with a different car. So when my wife was hit by a red-light-runner, we didnt think twice about choosing Caliber for the repair. Their communication to the customer is top-notch, they even send status updates via text message. My repair adviser was Joel, and he was very easy going and upbeat. Even though the damage was quite extensive, when our car was ready, it looked absolutely beautiful --- like like brand new, and maybe even better than brand new. The car was clean and shiny, absolutely no sign of the original damage. Caliber is conveniently located in Milpitas. I would recommend Caliber Collision for any auto-body work, even for the most extreme damage.OLD REVIEW:FCC has fixed my wifes 2001 VW Passat on 3 separate occasions (2 accidents, and 1 repair after being stolen & recovered). So when my E55 AMG got backed up into in the parking lot at work, naturally I brought it to them for repair. The thought to take it somewhere else never even crossed my mind. FCC is in a great location close to 680, 101 and 880 which makes it convent no matter where youre coming from. Theres an Enterprise Rental Car office like 10 feet from FCCs customer lounge, so it couldnt be any easier to get a rental car if one is needed. Their customer service is top notch, theyve always made me feel comfortable, everyone is always friendly and upbeat. For me, its a valuable thing to have a place where I can take my car and have the confidence, and just know that things will turn out fantastic. I can safely say my 4th visit to FCC was extra-smooth; quick drop off, they got the repairs done faster than estimated, and when I picked up my car they had it looking so good the reflection from the sun almost blinded me!Instead of wondering how its going to turn out, if you take it to FCC -- you can be certain, without any doubt, when you pick up your car its going to be looking mighty fine. And if its not, if you find something you dont like -- they go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied. I guess thats how they got their Diamond Certification. If Im ever in any future accidents, fingers crossed that I wont be, and knock on wood, but if I am --- I will bring my cars to FCC for repair, and no place else. Thanks Again FCC for making my car look so good, I cant even tell anything ever happened to it!
On leaving the vehicle at FCC, Sheldon made very good arrangements for rental car booking, followed up with the insurance agents regularly to speed up the claim process. Danny and Sheldon were very nice & responsive for multiple calls made by me checking on insurance claim delays.
Milpitas
I have been waiting for a week now for a decision and details to be sent to my insurance company. They cant get a call back or an answer. Not cool !!!
Big car body shop!
