DO NOT GO THERE. Will rip you off real quick.Went there for a simple alignment for my car and they tried to charge me 150$ extra stating it was because I was missing 2/3 bolts from my ball joint. Little did they know that all that was just replaced new from another shop. Got there to pick up the car, checked the bolts, which were all still there, took it to a local mechanic and paid 80$ and only took 15 min.

I needed immediate service to my muffler in order to get me back home and Wisconsin Muffler Tire & Auto Repair came to the rescue. The owner was courteous and worked with me in order to find the right solution I needed! They are the best and very friendly!

Very very rude over phone. Claimed there was no part for my car in stock anywhere which was a LIE. Part was located at another WI muffler with no problem. Poor customer service.

Went to this place after reading reviews claiming they offer walk-in emissions testing and prompt service. Got there and saw a big sign on the door that says NO EMISSIONS. *shrug* Look elsewhere.**Edit** Review upgraded to 5 stars for the classy response received.

Online shows that they do emissions testing - they do not! When I called to ask, staff was pretty rude. Will mark this place down as a no-go for other services as well.

I dropped my car off thinking I was gonna have to replace a wheel Bearing or something since there was a terrible and loud noise coming from the back tire. It turned out to be a piece of plastic rubbing on the tire. I didn’t even get charged anything. I’ll be back with any other work I need done

Horrible customer service. They made me waist my time. I showed up as soon as they opened looking to get an emissions test but an employee told me they didn’t start till 9. I apologized and came back an hour later for the same employee to tell me they were backed up, I told him I didn’t mind waiting. I wasn’t trying to make his life difficult. His demeanor changed and he told me they were not doing emissions test at all that day.

Great place! Everyone there is very nice and I don’t know a lot about cars but they took the time to explain what needed to be done. They are VERY reasonably priced and got my car finished in a small amount of time. They also seem very experienced. Definitely my go-to now for all my car repairs and oil changes!

Do not go here! I have done business here before it was under new managment and assitant management. My father in laws business will no longer do business with Wisconsin muffler. The assistant manager Cristobol was rude and pushy made me feel like i was wasting his time. Him and another employee were also talking about another womans body figure while i was standing with in a few feet of them. He also worked on my personal car and was rude and constantly on his personal phone. Poor customer service and multiple employees made me feel uncomfortable. The assistant manager also doesnt no a thing about working on cars either does some of the other staff. What happened to this placw a few months ago it was great its going down hill thats for sure

I was a Wisconsin Muffler customer 32 years but will not bring our family cars there anymore. Loyalty means a lot to me, so I dont make this decision lightly. After years of recomending them, Ive been disappointed with their performance lately. Weve now had a couple misdiagnoses of root problems leading to multiple repairs, costing thousands of dollars. After all these years I no longer feel like I can trust them. On my last visit I almost felt like they were just seeing how much money they could get out of us.

Do yourself a favor, dont go to this shop, go to the New Berlin location, John and Adam are AWESOME there. This shop refuses to take accountability. I typed a really long review initially explaining my entire issue, but it was too long, in the end, they lost the key to my boyfriends car that we placed in the key drop after they closed IN AN ENVELOPE WITH HIS CONTACT INFO ON IT. Theyre trying to say the key isnt in their possession so theyre not responsible for it, as if wed pay $200 to tow a vehicle on two flats to the shop to lie about leaving a key and not just the envelope or the key went missing if the key were to fall out, but somehow the whole envelope and key is gone. At the end of the day, he said that hes not responsible for keys in his possession. Food for thought, the key drop is indicative that they are accepting liability for customers belongings that are in their care, custody and control. Their shop does not state anything indicating they are not responsible for lost keys, or keys lost from the key drop, JUST that they arent responsible for broken plastic hub caps. With that said, I could EASILY present this argument to a judge, and win the case. Ive done this kind of thing before with other issues of people trying to screw me over, and I won. Additionally, the guy at the shop said this isnt the first time keys have gone missing yeah thats really comforting buddy. Mike HAS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They want us to go waste time at the DMV and pay to get the title and go to the dealership and pay to get the key that they lost. At the end of the day, if youre not going to accept responsibility for customers keys, you shouldnt have a key drop. I work in the legal field and its funny to hear people think they cant be held accountable, when really, all you need is a small detail like that. Having a key drop indicates accepting liability for customers belongings that are dropped off when the shop is closed. Like I said, go to the New Berlin location, theyre awesome, additionally, this location on Lincoln seems to be the only one that has poor reviews, because all of their employees are lazy and dont take responsibility and just brush people off. Now were stuck getting our car repaired here because were not going to pay another $200 to tow it to another shop because theyre incompetent.

I feel like Ive been robbed, every repair I came to them with I had to go elsewhere to get the problems fixed, almost died on the freeway because someone decided i didnt need all my lug nuts, so not only you rob me of money I dont have, but u put my life in danger, someone there needs to fix this

Customer service is non existent they feed off of vulnerable customers and see how much they can milk you for, I wouldn’t be surprised if they take bets on what they can take from you. Very sad and unfortunate that places like this can stay in operation.

Had to wait in line for two hours but the gentleman who does emisson tests was so nice made the wait worth it. Wisconsin needs to support these businesses more because there are not enough testing sites in Milwaukee.

I had a ton of work done. Shocks, struts, arm control and ball joints etc. The service was amazing! T The professiolism is great and I just love how they took care of me and my Denali. Went to get my car Fixed only for them to tell me two parts that needed to get fix, with after talking to several other Machincs would never be the problem with my car. Brought back in after the check engine light came back on,only to be told two completely different parts were the cause! Felt like they were just throwing parts to see what worked instead of taking the time to find the route cause the first time! Will never recommend or do business here again!

Always have had a great experience here. My mom has been going here for years and they always offer a fair price and are very friendly. They also take care of anything that they might have caused without problems. Would highly recommend.

Exhaust got loud so took in the car to have a look. Had to drop off the car and wait 4hrs for them to provide an estimate.Got a call with the quote and couldnt believe the price. Apparently the flex pipe, all the flanges, the resonator and the muffler were all bad. The cost of the resonator and muffler were reasonable but they quoted an additional $440 for flange repair. I was told they were very bad and needed lots of work. Im no mechanic, but $786 (after a $80 discount and $40 in misc fees) seemed a little unreasonable. I also couldnt understand how everything could be bad, I dont know how you could diagnose the muffler if everything upstream is leaking? I told them thanks but no thanks and left, realized when I got home they broke the door lock stem piece, didnt even bother calling to complain.I took the car to another exhaust place and after 15min had a quote in hand for $240, bad resonator and flex pipe. Had the repairs for a week now and am glad I got a second opinion. I almost said go ahead mainly because I had the day off and just wanted to get the car done, but I am happy with my decision. I will never go back to any of these locations again, I recommend you get a second opinion if your considering this place!

3rd time I have been to have my car serviced and Steve and Dave took care of everything. Went in for shocks today and they ran down a list of everything else that was wrong and took the time to explain it all. Dave even came out to get me half way through the job and showed me another issue with the rear shocks. I applaud Dave for the time he took to make sure everything was done right and so my family is safe. Steve even answered my questions about future maintenance and helped make me in making my decision on them and the timing of them. Always have had tremendous service here. I highly recommend them.

These guys are ALWAYS polite and prompt. They dont talk down to me. A very pleasant expirience for women taking thier car into an auto shop. Good job guys!

Its rare to find auto service anywhere with similar fast, friendly, professional and reasonably priced service.

As a woman. AVOID unless you enjoy being ripped off and talked down to. Condescendingly called dear (and not by an older gentleman where its just old school) but by a punk 10 years your junior who uses it as a way to talk down to you when he messed up to make you feel small.. Ive never been treated so poorly. As a business woman who owns a fleet of vehicles I am educated, not only in general but in vehicle maintenance. No one is perfect and people make mistakes but there are mechanics that will treat you fairly, and with respect. They will be up front and fix their errors.

Took my ride in for the emissions test.Staff was friendly, and thats based off the interactions I witnessed between not only myself, but the other customers as well.For the most part, I do my own vehicle maintenance/repairs. However, if I ever need to bring my car to a shop, this will be the one.

Worst place ever. Didnt attach my splash guard properly after an oil change and it fell partially off while driving on the freeway. I went back and confronted them and they said they didnt take it off, which you cant do this vehicles oil change without taking it off. After arguing and almost coming to blows with a guy working there They agreed to replace my splash guard. I picked up the guard to put on myself because they werent touching my car again and it didnt come with the screws to attach it to the vehicle and I was told after asking for the screws, bring us a screw off the car and well get some out of the back for you. Never let them check your tire pressure much less work on your car.

Replaced my compressor in a day. Meggy in the office was friendly as well as smoking hot.

October 2014, I took my 1998 Subaru in because it was making what I would call muffler noise. The technician, after examining it, but without taking me to the car and showing me anything, told me that I needed an entire new exhaust system: muffler, two catalytic converters, muffler assembly, to the tune of $1400. When I asked, shocked, what was causing the noise, I was told, Everything. Everything is leaking.I went to John the Muffler Man, where I was shown the rusted-through clean break between the rear of the front cat. converter and the exhaust pipe. Despite the fact that there was little to attach to, given the location of the break, the technician at Johns was able to reattach with a flange kit. $100.00 included a very nicely done weld. He showed me the work afterward, and showed me which joints were good and sound, and which might have some trouble down he road.I do not know and can not imagine what was going on at Wisconsin Muffler, which I had always considered reputable.

Not the cheapest but does the work like they are.Reply over 2000 dollars spent their and we already brought it back twice and the hood still doesnt work.but that what happens when you dont run the cable the same way. Then when you did a tune up instead putting the new wires in the wire holders you ripped the holders off, and let the cables lay where ever decreasing the lifespan of the wires.The reason you didnt get one star is because you can fix a car that isnt running
