Tom was my service advisor. Although they were extremely busy if I would agree too leave my vehicle theyd fit it in for a lube job and front end alignment.They did not disappoint! My truck was serviced in a timely manner and they thanked me for being patient and willing too simply drop it off. WOW talk about customer care, you couldnt ask for more.
I had a great experience here. Made an appointment for 8 because of a brake issue I had and was out by 10. A thorough inspection was done on the car and recommended repairs were explained and quoted. Work was done quickly and professionally at a reasonable price. The waiting area was clean with comfortable chairs and the bathroom was clean as well. The staff was friendly and thanked me for the business. I got the overall impression that the manager and his crew truly care about the customers and the quality of work done. Would highly recommend this location to friends and neighbors.

I called for a wheel alignment service earlier this week, and they where able to fit me in on a Saturday. Tom recommended a complete vehicle inspection to identify the problem prior to performing a service. Great advice and service here! This is a bit of a story, but I want to share about my awesome experience with the guys at Firestone.My car went down on a Thursday afternoon around 4:45 pm. Turns out my axel was busted--luckily I was at a red light and not moving when it happened. I had never heard of this garage and frankly only chose it because it was the closest auto care center that my insurance company suggested. I was concerned because the text alert from my insurance company notified me that it would be 90 minutes before a tow truck would arrive, and Firestone closed in 90 minutes. I frantically called Firestone and spoke with a very patient gentleman who assured me that if they were closed by the time I got there, I could leave my keys in the drop-box. I apologize for not remembering who this was, but he was the first PERSON who was able to talk to me during this whole process (even insurance redirected me to online roadside assistance...ugh). Thank you sir for being so kind and patient with a sobbing, stressed woman!The following day, Miguel calls me to let me know that he realized my fix was under warranty with Honda, and that if I went to a dealership to do the fix, it could be free. He said if I had Firestone complete the work, the estimate was about $600. I thanked him for the information and attempted to go through the dealership. In short, the dealership man I spoke with seemed a little shady, uninterested, and totally threw Miguel under the bus. If a garage is encouraging me to take my business elsewhere to save big bucks and MISS a sale, obviously they can be trusted.My gut told me to keep my car with the Firestone guys, and Miguel said that would be fine. By Sunday evening, I had a call saying my car was totally fixed and that I could come get it Monday after work. Wow!! I knew the part was going to be ordered on Sunday; I did not expect my car to be done in FOUR SHORT DAYS, and they even tuned up a couple other things for me too. The best part was I ended up paying a fraction of the estimated cost.Thank you Miguel and everyone else who helped me out last weekend; I am grateful for your patience, reliability, and impressively quick service! No doubt I will continue coming back to you guys for auto repair services.
Tom Traxel is one of the best people there. Whenever I have issues with my car I take it to Tom and he makes sure that I am taken care of. He has amazing customer service skills. I went and got two tires replaced and the person who did it, didnt properly balance them. I brought it to Tom and it got taken care of right away. Couldnt ask for a better professional!
Inside the time of my shift at work, they diagnosed my brake problem, quoted me a price & completed the job. I picked it up after work. Checking out, paying & driving my car home was easy & quick. They warned me to take it easy on my brakes during the couple hundred mile break in period. Who knew? But maybe not knowing is why I had a brake problem in the first place ;-) They are interested in quality & earning long-term business.
This place is amazing. They are fast and fair priced. The service team is very knowledgeable and goes out of there way to find additional information and answers when they encounter an unusual problem in a car.
I cant comment on the service done because I chose to leave. I had left because my son had fallen asleep in the car and I was told we could not sit in the car while they did the oil change. Which I understood but due to everything happening with covid 19 I wasnt able to sit in the waiting room, (too many people) I had no choice but to either stand outside the store or or call for an Uber to pick me up and take me home, as well as bring me back. By by the time I realized all that, I said I was going to spend more than I anticipate. So, for that reason I left and decided to find somewhere else to go.

I had a situation where a key that was not my car key was stuck into my ignition by a friend. AAA towed my car to this Firestone, where I was called multiple times in a day telling me that this was easily about a $1,000 fix and they needed to run diagnostic tests, they needed to rip apart my steering column etc. I then called my insurance and found out that everything could actually be covered with a claim and so I had my car moved to another shop that my Insurance recommended. Upon calling to tell the Firestone that a towing company would be by to get my vehicle, they proceeded to tell me that they had left my car unlocked on their lot all weekend because they couldnt get it to lock. In what world, does messing with the steering column affect the ability for the car to lock?? ALSO, why would you leave a car unlocked on your lot that isnt yours in South Milwaukee?? Such a liability for the business and so unprofessional! The towing company couldnt get to my car until Wednesday of the next week, so Im not sure how long it was left on their lot without being locked. The Manager called me to confirm service for my vehicle on Monday and I told him that I had called on Sunday to alert them of the tow. He then tried to charge me for Diagnostic testing and Labor to which I responded with the fact that his other employee had told me that my car was unlocked the entire time its been in their care. He quickly waived the fee. Upon further inspection of my car on Thursday Morning once it was taken to the new Auto Shop, I now have a large crack in my windshield on the INSIDE of my drivers side. I am currently in an insurance and car NIGHTMARE and will be until probably late next week. DO NOT choose this Firestone location, I cant speak for any other locations, but this location has no clue what they are doing and the auto body that I have my car at now was floored at what they have done to my car.

Told them going on long trip so do what is needed and wait on other. They did just that, explai Ed what and why did the work done. Always great experience dealing with everyone here.

Visiting my daughter in Milwaukee & checked her engine & noticed corrosion under battery terminal. Battery was at least 5 years old so I told her better to replace now than get stranded when it gets cold. Technician did not bother to clean battery hold down bar before installing new battery. first 2 photos show old corrosion from previous battery sitting on top of new battery. Last photo shows hold down bar properly cleaned by me. They also said that the positive battery terminal had to be replaced (saw no corrosion on it) because it was defective. I strongly question this. If technician does understand how to replace a battery and ensure that corrosion has been removed then he needs to be retrained. Always had good experience with Firestone shops in the past but had not used this shop.The store manager called me to follow up as my initial review was a 1 star. He agreed that his technician and service advisor did not do the job properly and has already spoken to them about it. He is very serious about maintaining his stores good reputation and his followup shows he understands good customer service and is quite sincere. I will give him another chance.

About 3 years ago I stopped going to other Firestone locations and I will only come here, after stopping here once. Particularly because of the manager Tom. In my business dealings I always try to be understanding and accommodating of my customers and Tom is the epitome of that. All of the staff are courteous and up front with you which I believe are 2 important core values to have for business. I service all my vehicles here, and highly recommend this location to anyone.

I scheduled an oil change on Thursday and they remembered my car and everything. They told me they had a time set for Monday at 5 p.m., and then I called today to see if my appointment was set and they have nothing in the record. What was the point in me calling if they dont even remember who was it that even called them thursday for an appointment. I had high hopes for this place but they immediately tore it down as soon as I had called them the day of.
Took my car for an AC recharge and they had my car knowing their machine broke, but didnt even call to let me know and I was shopping while waiting for them to let me know when and whats going on with my car. I had to pull up to find out about the machine and the tech was like; oh they didnt call you? Im like no. He said he didnt know who or when the machine was getting fixed so I wouldve just been waiting until I called myself.

Tom and his team are honestly the best. Came in after running over a whole tool and ended up needing a whole new rim. Tom was able to find me a new rim and get me all 4 new tires in such a record time. Truly can’t say enough for how grateful and pleased I was with their above and beyond service and reasonable prices for it all.
I went here years ago and they ripped me off because i didnt know any better. My son just went there 2 weeks ago i told him nit to go there..but he had an appointment...$1000 later and it still wont pass emissions!Rip off artists!!!!

So today, I came in for my 12:30 PM appointment and what was supposed to be all tires changed went to whole tire iron fixed. The people that serviced it before a year ago didnt tighten the knuckle up and I was driving on that for a year. The manager, Tom was real helpful and respectful. Well I came in for an alignment and they ended up finding control arms and bushings to be bad and needed to be replaced. They told me it would cost additional 750$ because parts alone cost 250 a piece. I asked if I can buy the parts and they told me no its a liability issue and I understood but I couldn’t afford so I took the truck somewhere else and got it done. When I brought it back for an alignment they ended up calling me again saying that the control arms where not installed right ? I said I apologize and I came to pick it up to take it back to the shop. Only this time a guy name Tom at the desk needed to tell me that thats what i get when I go to small shops and pay less. I igored it. He then charged me for inspection. The day before another guy didn’t charge me. So I got the key and found out my truck won’t start. They drained my battery. I went back in there and found Tom “on the phone” so I waited, and waited and waited until I had enough. I then said ..excuse me sir, vut my truck wont start . I guess he felt like I was inpatient after only 15-20 minutes of waiting while he’s on the phone so Tom tell me “ hey, Im on the phone. Plus I only parked your truck, I don’t know why it wont start. !!” I felt very uncomfortable and hopeless at the time but I did tell him that I brought it in running and needed it back the same way so he got up and sent someone who jumped my truck. When I went back to my mechanic with the list they gave me at Fire Stone they checked everything on the spot and told me none of the listed was true. They agreed with me that fire stone was mad cuz I took it someplace else for the upper control arm work which would have made em almost 800$ so for that they decided to punish me by not wanting to do alignment for me. I found a different place and they did the alignment right away, never said a word about any of the things Fire Stone said was wrong being an issue. I would not recommend this place to anyone. They want to rip you off. They have no empathy for people at they worst days and I hope other shops have people who understand and want to help.
Ivan and his team were absolutely amazing and helped me with everything I needed when it came to my car! From the tires, turbo, and other various things they replaced what needed to be, and even showed me the old turbo to ensure I knew what was wrong in case it were to ever happen again in the future. (My turbo issues were over looked by Chevrolet on Silver Spring Drive a few weeks prior even after my engine light came back on after getting the converter replaced). Ivan certainly saved many future issues and I can’t thank them enough for being so kind and professional!! I’d recommend them to anyone!

Terrible service. We came in yesterday with a bolt in our tire, and were told by Tom that they were too busy, but Sundays are first come first serve. My husband and I waited outside in the rain the next morning, and were then told (again by Tom) that we would need to leave the car with him, and that he has absolutely no clue when it would be done, and couldnt find out for us. We explained that were down to one car (I got rear ended and i am car shopping), and asked if he had anyone that could quick put our spare on, so we could just leave the tire with him. Again, not possible. Tom said that he has no clue when he can have someone do that. I would NOT recommend going here.
Beware. Watch out for the upsell. I went in for a check engine light. Tom tells me that I also needed $1,300 worth of front-end work. I explained that my main concern was the check engine light.He assured me they would fix it so I agreed to a total of $1,700+ in repairs. 2 days later, the check engine light came back on. The next week I took it back in. Tom said it would cost another $130 to fix what they supposedly already fixed. I refused and told him I was going to report them to the Dept. of Consumer Justice so he said he would fix it at no additional charge.3 days later, the check engine light came on again. I took my van to a competent repair shop and they fixed the problem and I passed the emissions test.Update: Tom, the Manger at Firestone, reached out to me. He offered to reimburse me for the repair at the shop that finally fixed the problem. I accepted and consider the matter closed.

I have been going to firestone for years. My dad got me started back in the 90s. Tom has been the store manager as long as I can remember. He is my go to guy. Why you should choose them over others is simple. You are getting precisely what your paying for. Quality parts with quality labor in a professional manner. Im at the point in my life where time is more valuable then money. I dont have time to sit around for a week waiting on a mechanic to maybe fix it right the first time. Tom has never and I mean never failed to deliver in less the 1 day maybe over night if I dropped it off late. as well as fixing it right the first time. In addition Tom has spent hours on the phone with me guiding and advising me on the right choices. He presents you with the least and most expensive options and what you really need, not just what would make his store the most money. If youre like me and like to see what you have payed for there machines are happy to spend time with you and show you what they did as well as old parts. If you cant tell im always pleased with the work and people of firestone.
Excellent service, and they gave me an honest opinion about what my car needed and what I could wait on fixing. Went there initially for an exhaust pipe fix, and went back for new tires and alignment. Both time the customer service was great and the timelines they gave me were met. Technicians in back also seemed very knowledgeable and experienced.

I will never go to this Firestone ever again. I brought my car in for an oil change. When they were complete they told me I needed new tires because my car had 0 tread. I questioned them because my tires had less than 30,000 miles on them and I keep a record of everything that is done to my car. I then brought my car to my hometown firestone and they told me “Whoever said there is 0 tread is crazy.” The fact you lie to customers is Insane to me, and I will forever tell my acquaintances to never go to this location because they will lie and try to take advantage of you.

Today I stop for four new tires for my wifes vehicle but they took the car in and they look at all my car to see if there was any other problems with it. They did find some other problems I got a call from the manager Tom he afford to fix them but never was pushy to get the job done. We are making a appointment to get the other little problems done. Unreal. Had a leak in my tire so I took it there for repair. They told me it couldn’t be fixed and offered to sell me one of their tires. As a female who doesn’t know much about cars I was unsure so I took the “unfixable” tire to another location my family uses and trusts. They were able to fix the tire without issue.THEN all of a sudden gas was leaking from the bottom of my car. When Firestone jacked up my car to look at the tire, they put their jack on the gas line AND BROKE IT. I’m lucky I didn’t break down on the road. So unimpressed with this service. Do not take your vehicle here. You will end up with more damage than you started with.

Employees at this location are excellent. They really work with you when unexpected issues come up with your car. Ive taken my car to this location several times and every time I left, I was completely satisfied with the work that was done on my car. My go to place in Milwaukee. Been a couple times and theyve gotten me in same day every time. Which is impressive, because they always seem busy. U turn south of the shop to get in if coming at it from the north.
After changing my oil myself on my new used truck once, I realized Im only saving $20 that way, so why bother. I brought it into Firestone and although there was a little bit of a wait, they were thorough. I drive so little, I only have to do this once a year, so I will always use this location.A few weeks later, a minor problem I was having prior to my oil getting changed got dramatically worse. My truck would sometimes lose engine power just after starting, and sometimes it wouldnt start at all without cycling the ignition on/off a few times. I took it in for a diagnosis which was very reasonable. I expected they would need to keep it for a few days to let it sit overnight. Instead, they called me back in a couple of hours and had the issue dialed down to a very basic problem with a twist. Fuel pump relay, but its soldered onto an integrated circuit located under the fuse box and only the dealer can fix it.... They really could have screwed me on this one and told me it was my fuel pump, but they were 100% correct and 100% honest.Lo and behold, there is a simple fix -- a TIPM fuel pump relay bypass cable. If you have a Chrystler, Jeep, Dodge google it. A $35 part could save you $1200+

We purchased a set of new tires for our daughters truck. The staff was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. They have a small waiting area with coffee. The prices were very reasonable considering the warranty included with the purchase. She will be covered, if needed, when traveling out of state; this gives us peace of mind. The only downside was the wait time. We did not plan our day properly and opted to wait in their store for the tires to be replaced and aligned. The day we were there, several customers were already ahead of us in the queue so we had to wait quite a bit for her truck. Nevertheless, we are happy with the quality, purchase, and service at Firestone in Milwaukee.
Tom was super helpful and easy to talk with! Being new to the area, Im not really familiar with some of the state regulations, Tom took the time to explain it all to me and even helped me out with my TPMS sensors. Highly recommend this location!!

So I had an issue with this place where I wanted to get my car aligned but they do not put any parts that you buy to this to your vehicle you have to buy parts from their company for them to put parts in your vehicle I don’t think that’s fair because there still money for you
I had taken my car to the place next door about 4 months ago for a knocking and clunking noise in the front end of my mariner. After having it for 3 hours, they told me nothing was wrong. A mechanic had me drive it around with him and deduced it to me being a woman and not understanding that cars make silly noises. Silly me. Really.Fast forward to April 2017, there is now a rattling noise in the front end along with the clunk that is more frequent when applying/releasing the brakes and the knocking noise is still there. I took it to FIRESTONE and they diagnosed the issue within half an hour.Ball joints are bad, rusted bolts that werent doing their job, both control arms needed to be replaced. I left at 4pm and my car was ready by 7pm. I drove off with no more clunking, rattling or knocking. Just a nice, quiet, safe ride home.The staff at Firestone were very friendly and explained the issues with me thoroughly. After speaking with the mechanic, I was confident that I would be safe driving my vehicle again.The price for the job was very reasonable and I loved how they were able to treat me and my vehicle like I was a priority and a valued customer.I would recommend them and I will be going back!

They typically overbook, and it usually takes longer than predicted. However, I was specifically told that they could change 2 tires in 2 hours, and that my car would be done by closing. Then, when I arrived, as is typical, they said that I would have to leave my vehicle overnight. Im tired of this overbooking game, so Im just taking my vehicle elsewhere. Also, the one time I was told that my ball joints were dangerously loose, I removed and inspected them myself, and they were not loose at all. The repair would cost me over $200 per side, and I can purchase complete control arms myself for $36. Nah.

We are from St Louis and no matter where we go Firestone is always ready to help in a pinch. While traveling our car wouldnt start. Called a local Ford dealer which was worthless - they could get to it by Tuesday.The local Firestone guys fit the car in and we were back on the road quickly and at a much more reasonable price.Been using Firestone for 20 years and never been disappointed.Even when you are far from home they come through.

I was greeted by the store manager Tom Traxel; he was upbeat, pleasant, and extremely helpful with all of my questions. I could tell the store was busy; yet he still took the time to check my tire depth, recommend the best choices in tires to fit my budgetary needs; even after I told him I would have to wait a month to buy the tires initially. It is people like this that make me want to come back time and time again, and I will now as a first time customer, hopefully even a lifetime customer!
Im very pleased with the service received on my vehicle the two times Ive visited this shop (new tires, plus a tire/flat repair). I was quoted a reasonable price and the work was done in a timely manner. Additional repairs were suggested too (my car is nearing the end of its life) but without pressure to have the work done - it was just a heads up.Mgr Tom and his staff went out of their way to assist me on my last visit (flat repair was actually a cracked rim), and Im extremely thankful for their help. I highly recommend this Firestone location!
We are from be out of town visiting a loved one in the hospital and after another shop destroyed our breaks and new parts Firestone saved the day. Very professional and actually cared for us as people and not just a number. They helped us make it affordable and for us to get back on the road quick so we could get back home today. Such GREAT customer service! Ive been here twice and this location is wonderful. The gentleman working with me have me specific details about everything I needed fixed, added a coupon on for me without asking AND showed me the old rusted parts so that in the future I would know more about my car. They took the time to really walk through everything and didnt mind my questions. Cant say enough about the friendly staff and pleasant experience!!

I was VERY HAPPY with the service I received today!!.Had a BAD experience 3 times a couple months ago at the Brown Deer location so I chose to give Firestone another shot! Firestone on 27th street which is 35 mins away from me was excellent I must say.The job was done correctly this time! I got my car back the same day! I appreciated the very kind gentlemen today who helped me!Gave me good information,Great customer service overall!I will definitely be coming back to this location.Update- 4/20/2021I had a issue with a part that went bad, my warranty was up in March. So my engine light was on week before emissions smh. I was a bit frustrated! Tom went out his way to get the part taking care of for me and I would just pay labor. I appreciated how he handled everything.Even got approved for a Firestone credit card. Finally! LolTom and his team were very professional and made sure all my concerns had been taking care of right away.Thank you!

They cared about 2 orphaned baby opossums and called Wildlife center at the Wisconsin Humane Society. I was sent to transport them to the wildlife center for care.
