One of the most competent auto mechanics Ive dealt with in my lifetime. A highly satisfied customer for almost twenty years!
We have unfortunately needed a mechanic for a used car we recently purchased. The team at Jason Imports has been fantastic. Communicative, quick, and fair pricing. Even worked directly with VW to have them ship a part for a defective item and cover all costs, both part and labor. Now we take both our VW and Toyota to him!
Very good service and reasonable prices if you dont mind used parts. Major parts like brakes and muffler are new.
Outstanding mechanic! Great work at a reasonable price. I’ve been going to Nick for 20+ years. Always quality work and only does what’s necessary. If your car is worth $3,000 and it needs $1,500 in repair, he’ll say you may want to put that $1,500 toward a down payment of another car. That’s the sign of an honest good mechanic. Also, his work is done promptly.?
Great technician, takes the extra effort to do things the correct way!
Very good people, Id recommend
I was very pleased with the service I got at Jason Imports and I highly recommend it especially if you have a foreign car. Nick is very knowledgeable on these vehicles. He is very fair with his pricing and keeps you updated on the progress. His wife is also awesome I enjoy her company while waiting for my vehicle. I will definitely return and I do my very best to let everyone I know with a foreign car to take it there.
Great place and great work! Just had new pads and rotors put on for a great price. I couldnt be more happy with the work. Will not go anywhere else.
The head mechanic has a stern, no-nonsense attitude. If youre more concerned about being sweet-talked to, than getting your vehicle fixed properly for a very fair price, this shop probably isnt for you. That being said, this shop does the best job out of anyone in the metro area when it comes to working on quality imported vehicles.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE..They will tear your car completely apart keep it for months and give you 1,000 excuses then when you say something no one even apologizes try to make it better...lawsuit is on way. Especially don’t deal with a mechanic named Dirk dirt whatever...
If you want your Car fixed properly, not be over charged, want an old school awesome mechanic that can diagnose the REAL problems with your car- this is the place for you. If you want someone who treats you to ice cream and over charges while playing nice, this is not the shop for you. Nick has worked on THREE of our cars on numerous occasions. Once being my crappy Jag that even the dealer who charged me thousands couldnt fix. Nick is honest, loyal and talented...... Who cares if hes grumpy, he has you back on the road in no time at half the price of Dealer.
The mechanic I spoke to was rude condescending and I hung up on him. Didnt even get to the point of taking my car here. I was trying to get brake rotors and pads replaced and I told the receptionist the parts maybe hard to get and she said oh dont worry I have the parts. So the mechanic calls me back and asks what size rotors are they, there are 4 kinds. I said I dont know but I can look it up somehow - e.g. Owners manual, using the VIN. Well he kept interrupting me and was extremely rude and basically said you cant look it up I have to check the vehicle.Well to make a long story short I told him he was rude and I hung up on him. It took me about 5 minutes to find out what size rotors my vehicle had by going to the Audi website and typing in the VIN number. I was also able to find the correct size by searching on an auto parts store website using the year, make, model and engine size of my Audi. He made other condescending remarks to me about scheduling an appointment. This all happened yesterday. I just picked up the parts and took the vehicle to another mechanic who is doing the work right now.Im not giving my business to someone so rude who obviously doesnt know what he is talking about. And in response to the poster below I dont want to be sweet talked to, its called CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I have had the best experience with Jason Imports, regardless from what others have been saying who have not followed through with taking their cars in here. I was coming back to Milwaukee for Christmas and called a week ahead of time to schedule an appointment to have my timing kit replaced on my JW TDI. I was also having some oil leak issues that I needed to have checked out. The mechanic told me to bring it in early Friday morning before Christmas Eve. He spent all day working on my car, and constantly kept me updated on the progress. Him and his wife ended up staying at the shop hours past closing so that I could have my car done before Christmas Eve, the next day.I see many people confuse his Eastern-European upbringing as rude. This is a major misconception. Given that he is the only mechanic at his family-run shop, Im sure when his wife is out, he is trying to spend most of his time scheduling appointments and working on customers cars rather than waste time with customers with fragile egos. He doesnt need to have to spend several minutes to sweet talk people over the phone. The quality of work he does builds trust instead, like it should. He does have a straight to the point kind of attitude, but I trust him all-the-more because he has shown his extensive knowledge in imported vehicles, along with his extreme dedication for quality. I would rather wait to drive back from out-of-state to have him work on my car, than any other mechanic anywhere else.
Did not get any work done. Simply stopped in to ask a couple question and was made to feel like my business didnt matter at all, and every other car was so much more important than mine.
Called this morning about our Audi and the man on the other end of the phone was rude and short. He asked for the engine code and I said if you can tell me where it is I can give it to you?. He told me to hold on, as he was sitting the phone down I heard him say Oh my God in a condescending tone so I hung up. I will never go to that place, I would rather pay top dollar at the dealer and be treated properly than deal with him.
I called to get information and the person on the other end of the line was extremely rude. If you as an owner can’t be respectful towards your clientele, I really don’t know what kind of a business you’re running.
I was referred to speak to Nick by another mechanic, and Nick was just rude. I will not bring my car in if you can’t treat me, a new customer, with respect. If you don’t show great customer service to me as a human, then I don’t trust you to work on my car. Never recommending this place to anyone!
Great Shop, Great Work
Not very nice to talk to over the phone.
