I do not recommend that you go to this place that treats children with autism badly. If it was for me I wouldnt put not even 1 star. My son has autism and yesterday at about 9:00 pm we went to buy his favorite donut and we were attended by a man without education and without a heart. My son asked him if he could give him the strawberry donut and just because he wanted the top donut, the man got angry and throw back the donut and reluctantly took me and my children out of the store. My children were sad and crying they did not understand what was happening with this man. I explained to that man that my son was autistic and why he had to yell at us. I was so upset about the situation. I went to another place that wanted our order and was going to treat my family well. I DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!

Used to shop alot here for my donuts until a worker was extremely rude to me and my family, we were asking him for a specific donut but he just kept adding more to our box and instead of saying he didnt quite understand what we were saying he slams the donuts crushing them, i think he should be fired. In all honesty. dont shop here, theyll most likely scam you or treat you terribly plus, they dont wear any masks! Just go some safer to spend your money

We went here before we boarded a flight, the guy at the counter was very rude, acted like we were inconveniencing him by being HIS customer. Seems a lot of people complain about the same guy being rude, and he was very rude to us as well. Nobody wearing masks, place was dirty and unkept and looked like one giant health code violation. I’m not sure how a place like this stays open, but I surely won’t be back. Also, donuts sucked, were stale and were terrible, probably one of, if not, the worst donut I have ever eaten. Don’t support these people, they don’t care about their customers and they don’t seem to put in effort into their profession of making quality donuts.

They are very nice here. Awesome donuts! I love the cherry. They are always fresh. If youre lucky you get get them warm from the oven too. So good!

Honeydip Donut: Unfortunately I do have to start this review off on a bad note. I can’t provide a whole lot of info on Honeydip Donuts because they do not have a website and their Facebook page is bare boned. In 2020 it’s just not acceptable to not have a website. That being said, I can tell you that this is one of the few shops in MKE that is open 24 hours a day. The quaint shop offers a myriad of donuts and has a pleasantly sweet aroma in the air. Today I have their flagship donut, the “Honeydip donut”. As far as I can tell it’s basically a glazed yeast/raised donut. The donut is light, airy, sweet, and has nearly the right amount of chewiness. It’s almost as good as Krispy Kreme’s Original Glazed Donut, but it’s a tad less dense and could be the slightest bit chewier. I still highly recommend this donut and I’m pretty sure I’ll be back to try one of their massive cinnamon rolls

A good 24 hour donut dive. Get the early batch when they are first baked. The glazed yeast donuts are huge, soft, and will dissolve in your mouth. Not the prettiest donut shop, but it is a local “ma and pa” joint that serves tastier donuts than the other national brand

If you get your doughnuts here make sure you buy 2 dozen bcuz the first dozen probably be gone before you to your destination

Some of the best donuts around nice workers sadly I miss one of the ladys that used to work there. But great place to come.

This location is not good. Other location is MUCH better. Old stale donuts are pushed out while the fresh ones sit to age. Would suggest making less and keeping the fresh ones moving. When you ask which ones are the freshest you will always hear they are all fresh. This location was good up until about a year ago. The owner acts as if he doesnt care anymore

Guy attempted to cheat me out of money. I gave him a $20 bill for half dozen donuts (5.60) & 2 scoops of ice cream ( $4 something). Only gave me $4.61 back & no receipt. It might have been a genuine mistake, however he seemed irritated due to me telling him he gave me the wrong ice cream flavor ( I asked for Sherbet, he gave me Strawberry), however he did not speak good English so he might have heard me incorrectly. I found it disgusting that he just the dumped strawberry ice cream back into container & used the same cup to put the shebert into.

Excellent donuts with fantastic service. As you can see, the apple fritters are larger than my face. They are perfectly spiced and absolutely packed with chunks of apple. The apple cider donuts are excellent as well but the fritters are a show stopper.

This place has the best variety always in stock and they taste fresh any time of the day. Open late too!

I’ve been meaning to check out this place for awhile now since I moved to the area. Very friendly staff and a good selection. The donuts were ok, they tasted like they’ve been left out for a bit. Overall good service and ok donuts.

The person there treated us as if we were wasting his time; i.e. answered his mobile phone and was reluctant to us ordering additional donuts. The donuts were OK.

I went in to Honeydip DonutsAnd someone bought all of my favorite apple donuts. I have been craving this donut for such a while and I was off work early and decided to swing by and enjoy my favorite donut with a cup of coffee while relaxing at home. So how disappointed was I...... 🥺 well that didnt last long. 😋 🤗 the young man behind the counter said he would make more for me. Hurray I walked out of Honeydip Donuts with 18 donuts and one cheese pocket. What a great feeling when someone gos out of their way for you. Thats why I keep going back. 😁

These donuts are amazing and after years of driving by this place I am regretting every time I didnt stop now. We went at 8pm on a Wednesday night and they had a Ton of donuts and they were all very moist and delicious. These are the BEST donuts I have had in all of Wisconsin by far.

Have been going here many years there customer service is amazing! I place orders stop in randomly and they always have what I want and they are super yummy that old school donut the way jts supposed to be! There is one lady I believe is this owner always gives my son some extra donut holes when he comes with me she is so sweet! My son is actually taking his bday treat to school from here this Friday!

I love this place. The owner is one of sweetest people I have ever met. And the donuts are something special (the sour cream cake donut is the very best!). We had them make 100 donuts and 125 donut holes for our wedding reception and they were so flattered and very happy to make them fresh the morning of the reception.

This is my favorite donut place on the south side of Milwaukee. The owners are always in a good mood, very helpful, and glad to throw in an extra donut to complete your bakers dozen.We visit fairly regularly, and they will usually give the kids a free donut to eat while we pick out the rest. Awesome!You wont find anything too fancy here, just simple, great tasting donuts.

Great Donuts . Do not go there for Sunday hot ham and rolls. Got home and found out ham is ice cold never was warmed or heated some type of chopped pressed ham like product. Hard rolls were at least 2 days old stale and chewy like a hamburger bun really nasty. Even the grocery store ham and rolls are easily twice as good as this deal. Really disappointing. Wasted money

I came in and first had to wait a long time before anyone came out. When finally someone noticed me I had to wait an additional few minutes. When the time came for me to pay the lady that took my order decided to give herself a tip. No offense she didnt deserve one after making me wait such a long time. So watch your pocketbook!

Just moved to town, have been here twice. These are some of the best donuts I have ever had and the people are extremely nice. The donuts are moist and melt in your mouth. The prices are great. My personal favorites are the maple frosted and the blueberry cake donuts. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

The donuts are super fresh, the filled donuts are actually full of fillings, unlike the national DD chain around here, and it was less expensive. It was awesome.

This place received the oh-so coveted Best Of Milwaukee 2014 award. I go here every few months when Im craving donuts. A little inside tip.. if youre super nice to the cashier and depending on who it is, sometimes theyll throw in an extra honey-glazed donut.

Went in there for donuts around 10 PM. Owner looked extremely annoyed that we were coming in. Looked at the donuts and the 4 of us decided that we wanted 8 total (2 for each of us). The man then started grabbing donuts for us but instead of using a box or several sturdy bags, he gave us one small bag for all the donuts. Was not very pleased.

I’ve been here many times over the years. They always have a good variety of donuts and the service is always good. The owner is very nice and is always friendly.

Server didnt wear a mask nor was he courteous. Place lack hygiene and should be checked by the health department.

These are some of the best doughnuts in Milwaukee by leaps and bounds. If it were closer to me I would go more often. The staff are willing to cut deals and combos if you are buying lots or a repeat customer. When I worked 3rd shift I was a regular, it was great for my taste buds but bad on the waist.

Since this is s doughnut place I expected to see more variety at anytime during the day.

My favorite donut is from Duck Donuts in Virginia but this is definitely a very close second the donuts were superbly delicious!

Friendly service excellent selection and they do make a mean Coffee Roll that smokes the double D. The donut selection is much better than Dunkin and the service is too. Slainte!

Food is amazing, but the couple who was there serving me made it so worth it. They were so kinda and made me feel special for coming in. They took care of me fast and even gave me a free donut because she wanted me to try her favorite, which now might be my favorite! Go here!

I went to pick up donuts for the office club and the place had this all-american diner vibe, that so few places have anymore. There were some elder couples having coffee and donuts. (I imagine they were also reading a newspaper) There were families getting a treat on their way to, wherever. Also, the owner threw in a couple free donuts! (and at the beginning of the day!)

A local favorite. Between Scouting, Church and Family we are here multiple times a month. 35 flavors of donuts and sandwiches, coffee, etc. The people are wonderful with my son and the service is great.
