Excellent I have been coming here for years and its always the same excellent service friendly staff

They actually have staff that knows about the items they sell and can help steer you in the right direction. I dont get this experience often at big box stores. Prices are higher than big box stores but they also have items that are hard to find at big box stores.

Store is clean and organized. The cashier at the time was friendly. BUT one of the store staff the helped me pick out t.v mount screws seemed miserable and really didnt want to help me. I dont understand if you ask someone if they need help and you give them is attitude dont bother asking. I couldve found the screws myself and I wouldve had a better experience.

My family and I, have been coming to this location for over 25 years. I have always found the owners, now owner, to be professional, and accommodating to the needs of their customers. I find it to be a convenient location, and it’s inventory is great. Also, for the most part, the long term regular employees were always polite and helpful. Now, it’s a different story with the younger ones that are there on the floor. Their work ethic is certainly different. My experiences with especially one of the young men at the back counter, has not been pleasant ones. I found him to be arrogant, unprofessional and unhelpful. I have asked to be helped on three different occasions, and have just basically been brushed off, and pointed in the general area of where I could find items myself. Well, I generally do look myself, before asking, but if unable too, I ask for the help of business employees, because I thought this was their job. I visited the store this morning, made purchases, needed assistance with heavy item, and when cashier called for help from the employee/s, I referred to prior, they wouldn’t even come up to assist me. They heard her call for assistance, and observed me standing at the counter up front. (I even thought this was an act of Disrespect to her by ignoring her call like they did) She had to end up taking heavy item to my car for me, because I’m a Senior Citizen, and have health issues. I think this behavior should be addressed by the owner, because if I get treated this way, there could be others getting the same poor customer service-NOT a good fit for business. Being treated in such a fashion, on more than one or two occasions, certainly doesn’t make me feel VALUED, as a customer.Thank you.

Always friendly and always stocked except today. Provided referral to another ACE however they didnt have it either. I settled for a substitute which I will return. I thought it was too costly for what I needed to do so I gerryrigged something to get me by. Car was broken into needed to cover window. ACE on Lisbon will always be my first stop when I need something.

About the least helpful employees Ive ever come across. Guy I came across barely looked up from his phone to help me. In fact I couldnt tell at first if he was talking to me or into his phone.

Love this place, everyones friendly and you find pretty much anything youd need from a hardware store despite its small size.

We bought a house in the area and visited for the first time to get keys made. Typical neighborhood hardware in the best way.

Ive shopped at Ace for many years and have always had a good experience. Theyre helpful and friendly, and their prices are competitive.

I was told I was disrespectful for asking about the cut of the keys made for me because they didn’t seem to match up . Oh then the once I tried them the keys didn’t even work so I had to come back ! The managers are nice but I’ll never go back !! I have 0 tolerance for poor customer service.

I purchased a Toro lawnmower from this store it was local so I decided to spend my money local because of the pandemic instead of going to a big box store...well my mistake the man that sold me a dream was nice enough little did I know he just wanted my money he lied to me and said that it would be delivered I told him I was a rewards card member and it said that I could get free delivery and he agreed he cashed me out and said ok it’ll be delivered tomorrow and someone will call you I left the store and I waited and I waited no one called me I work everyday so I didn’t have time to chase the store finally I went to the store 4 days later because I believed him and trusted his words only to be led on in the store I showed them my receipt and without an explanation or remorse they wheeled my lawnmower out of the back and handed me my receipt and turned around and continue to do what they were doing to my sadness I said I have never been treated like this ever when purchasing a almost 500$ lawnmower and that the big box store would have never did that to me I’ll never step foot back in that store ever!!!

A pretty good place to shop the customer service is very good, Ive been going here for about 5 yrs or so never had a problem.

It was okay until I went up to the counter to make my purchases. The cashier was unprofessional. Didnt acknowledge me nor tell me what my total was. I find it uncomfortable whenever Im a paying customer some place and employees dont greet their customers. Regardless if the customers dont say nothing back, one should always set an example for one another. Not every customer that enters a store are going to be in a friendly mood. Politeness goes a long way.

I recently bought a new home and when the original 1955 Kohler bath tub faucet handle fell apart, I knew I was in trouble.First, I went to Village Ace in Glendale and luckily they were familiar with the handle. They gave me some parts, but after a couple return visits, they knew I was probably in over my head. Brandon suggested I take it all to Mike D at the Meinecke store. Thank you Brandon!Mike D is awesome! He knew the history of that particular faucet. He took it all apart, showing and naming all the pieces. He found what I missing, greased it all up, and put it all back together. He also gave me instructions for putting it back in the wall. I left feeling like an expert and couldnt have been any happier.THIS is why neighborhood hardware stores are so important. Thank you Mike D and Brandon. You saved the day!

I get to Ace to find out they did not have what I needed. What a wonderful waste of my time. Im sticking with home depot and Menards.
