Very unprofessional. We had an appointment for our covid 19 booster shot and we even got emails confirming and reminding us of our appointments.when we got there the pharmacy section was closed. We were told to come back the next day and they would honor our appointments, but when we called they refused to give us the shots. Ill never set foot in their store again. If I could give them a negative star I would.

Don’t use this pharmacy! They are not reliable and don’t care how they treat their customers. I submitted my refill for my prescription over the Rite Aid app on Sunday, October 24th, 2021, to be ready by 1pm on Monday, October 25, 2021. By the time I got off work at 5:30pm I still had not received an update regarding my prescription. I called the pharmacy three times right after I was off work, but no one picked up. I thought they were super busy, so I tried calling again at 6:50pm and still no one picked up. Frustrated and getting worried something was wrong, I jumped in the car and drove to the store. Yet, upon entering there was handwritten note on the store window stating that “the pharmacy is closed early due to staffing shortages. Will reopen at 7am”. I needed my medication TODAY!!!! I am unable to transfer it to another store because Oregon considers it a controlled substance and it can only be done by someone in the now CLOSED pharmacy. ANYONE who works at a pharmacy knows the laws, yet NO ONE called me to tell me that the pharmacy would be closing early and there was no message informing ANYONE who was trying to call to talk to someone that the pharmacy they would be closing early. Had I known they were closing early, I could have planned leave work super early to get there in time or requested it to be transferred to another store before they were CLOSED. They could have looked at the list of customers that had submitted requests for that store today and informed them by text, email, something. But nope… no one cares about the people who need their medication urgently.Sadly this is not the first issue I have had at this store. I am beyond disappointed in the communication with customers. These are peoples medications. Communicating when an issue arises that involves peoples health should be of the utmost importance. I understand that there is a staff storage for many at this time, but it then falls to the manager and the company at large to ensure that people are informed in a timely manner.With Rite Aid being such a large company I would think that there would be policies in place to address these types of situations. I implore you urgently to address these issues with your stores.

This is the pharmacy that I get my medications from. My god this is one of the worst places that I have been. Some times its alright. but 7/10 times the wait for the pharmacy will be waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long. Dont think about calling them either. As Im typing this review I have been on hold for 2 hours before just hanging up on me to check if my medication that should have been refilled yesterday has been filled yet. This is the norm and not the exception with this Rite Aid. I came in one time and the guy behind the desk said he had a worker quit on the spot. I dont blame the worker for quitting because the managers here have no clue what they are doing.

I usually only go to this Rite Aid because it is within 2 miles from my home and it’s where I can pick up a prescription very quickly. I have had nothing but excellent customer service and all the staff wear a mask which I very much appreciate during these pandemic times. The pharmacy staff are all friendly and helpful if I have any questions. I wish this store was open 24/7 like it used to be as I could always count on getting much needed new prescriptions quickly rather than the next day.

Charlie, Adam,... the whole entire staff at this location, are by far the best in the Pharmaceutical Business! I personally followed Charlie from the Oregon City Rite-Aid after 10 years of being a customer because as a Pharmacist, they dont get any better than Charlie! Knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, empathetic and a true Patient Centered Approach, make this my go-to Pharmacy and the only Pharmacy I use, or will use for that matter. An amazing team of professionals for sure! Very grateful and thankful to be a Patient!

Literally THE WORST customer service. My husband has heart medication filled here and has had numerous issues with being told the medication will be filled then when he gets to the store they claim they never received a request. Done with this place after today.

Been a custom for about three years now. I generally go there to just fill prescription, and occasionally pick up odds and ends. Its a nice enough store. Generally all the employees are nice and helpful, the same could can be said about the pharmacy, except one employee. She is rude. No hello, its just name.....date of birth. Id say maybe shes having a bad day, but this happens everytime I see her, which thankfully isnt much. Her body language is hostile and if you dont act fast enough she will fill out the survey on the machine for you. Yes she reaches over the counter and will hit buttons on the machine if you arent fast enough.

Rarely busy & lots of parking!! Very convenient Amazon locked inside the store near the pharmacy. Easy to pick & return items. Amazon will send you code and you enter it when you get there to open a door to pick up or return your item. Make sure to wear your mask inside the store because you will be asked to leave if you dont.

Wow, what a Rite Aid experience. For the last months, I have been searching for the limited edition Lady Gaga Chromatica Oreos and I have had zero luck. After checking three other Rite Aids, two Targets, and two 7-11s, I began to give up, but I called this Rite Aid location with little expectations. I immediately felt horrible calling and asking merchandise questions (I have a friend in the pharmacy industry and she dislikes these types of the calls), but the cashier politely put me on hold to attend her duties as a cashier (which I respect), and I believe a manager answered the phone, but I cant know that for sure. What I do know is that this young man made my dreams come true by offering to hold their stock of Lady Gaga Oreos. He offered 3 packs, but by the time I got to the store, he found MORE and left them up at the front for me. I did not buy out the stock out of respect for the little monsters in the PDX area, but I appreciated the gesture. Wonderful Rite Aid. To the man I spoke to on the phone, thank you. This is the premier location to get your Gaga Oreos in the Portland Metro Area.

My daughter just had surgery i had to get her prescriptions filled . They came from kaiser the lady at the pharmacy was quite rude would not take written prescription said I had to fill them at kaiser even tho Ive filled prescription there before. From kaiser thats where my daugjters insurance n files are she turned me away so I had to drive all the way to kaiser to fill her prescription. The pharmacy at kaiser told me I was told wrong that they should have filled them so I had to pay full price for her prescription. So Id like to see this lady go thru some kind of customer service class on how to treat people and not be so rude to people.sad that a trusted pharmacy would have such a rude person working there n not know how to treat people or know what shes talking about. She would not listen to anything I had to say. Weve been using rite aide for long time. I am planning on having my daughter transfer her files to another pharmacy. Outraged by the way I was treated very unacceptable. Just to let you know my daughter has been going here for 18 yes n hospital alled ahead to let them know wed be filling prescription there because thats where her insurance n files are. My daughter n her kids have been going here . She is upset that I was treated so poorly and the girl doesnt know her job or what she was talking about and her poor treatment of people.

Dont expect to pay with your phone or watch even though the door say they accept google pay and apple pay. Had to use my physical card to pay and I tapped it too and worked. Clearly they need new computers/card readers or re-do their whole payment method/system program for transactions.

The pharmacy here is a nighmare. So extremely rude, condescending, and antagonistic. The only reason I chose this pharmacy to begin with is because it was close to where I live and I thought that it was open all hours. This is no longer the case. For the last year I have been completely understanding when they have repeatedly not filled my prescriptions after calling them in days before, only could fill for a few days at a time, gave me the wrong instructions for how to take my prescriptions, forced me to drive to a different pharmacy further away to have them fill, etc. This last time, I was given 7 days of an everyday monthly prescription and told to pick up the rest in 7 days. Its been 10 days. I call in and the pharmacist says theres nothing there for me. I explain the situation and she immediately gets rude and condescending. They have messed up my medications too many times. I am done with this pharmacy.

The cashier customer service here is hit or miss and really nothing to complain about and the store is just fine. My real problem is the pharmacy customer service. No matter what I do, the people at the pharmacy act as if everything Im doing is an inconvenience. I went in to give them my insurance information ahead of time when another pharmacy was transferring over to them and they seemed so annoyed I had come over even though I was just trying to make the transition easier. Then I went to refill this prescription and they wouldnt let me refill it without skipping a couple days, even though the instructions say not to skip any days. Then I called and the pharmacy to discuss it and she asked how she could help and then interrupted me to say she was already with a patient. Why ask if you know youre going to have to put me on hold? I would have gladly waited to tell her after holding while she helped the patient. She then listened to me and said she would have someone else donut and told me she had to go because other people were waiting without even knowing if I needed anything else or giving me any resolution. I had to use the pharmacy this one time and I cant wait to get back to Walgreens. They treat me like a human being and are actually nice.

The techs that work in the pharmacy are extremely rude with the exception of Mako, who helped me with a simple misunderstanding with my insurance. The overall experience at Rite Aid pharmacy is horrible. Go to Walgreens across the street.

Never againWhile the store itself may be functional. The pharmacy is another story all in of itself. the staff at the counter was %100 rude to me and my wife. I waited for over an hour and a half just to find out they needed my ins card after I had been told no we have all your info right here no page over the intercom or heaven forbid. They asked me while I say patiently. An hour and a half I waited for insulin. And still couldnt get my script filled due to a doctor error.which yes I understood wasnt there fault. I even tried asking what I could do to help. And still the staff had no reason to have such a horrid attitude with me. I will never try filling any prescription there again.

I was very hesitant to go there after reading the reviews. My experience was very positive though. The lady behind the counter found a coupon for me. My prescription was done in the 15 minutes they said it would be. I found them friendly and efficient. So if you are hesitant to go I say it’s probably worth a shot.

The cashier here was real racist she was a white lady my wife and I are Mexican... So as we set our stuff we want to purchase on the counter the cashier was not nice but the white guy before she was nice too, smiling laughing, anyways he finished purchaseing she handed him the receipt... But after I finished paying she set the receipt on the counter then stepped back. So I waited to see how she was going to handle the black lady same thing happened rude she set the receipt on the counter and stepped back... I noticed that the store i was at had no other races except white people... Anyways your company needs to hire people that are nicer, no matter there race... I will never shop there again...

THIS IS A DANGEROUS PHARMACY. Doctor gave me prescription for Ergotamine for severe migraines, instead of imitrex, sumatriptan, etc. because of both allergic reaction and incompatibility with other medications. One of the first things the “pharmacist” said to me was how expensive the drug was. First of all, does it look like I care? Second was that my insurance wouldn’t cover it. Didn’t even look yet, and I have the best insurance in Oregon. Third was that they didn’t have it, and that I wouldn’t be able to get it anywhere. Ok? Do you work for the other pharmacies as well? I was so desperate for relief that when he suggested calling the doctor to prescribe one of the others I’m allergic to/that could kill me from medication interaction, I rashly agreed thinking what he’d told me was true. After waiting ages for him to figure out what he was doing (while I was researching other places that were confirmed to carry the prescription I needed, and getting more angry), he called me up and told me he filled sumatriptan, which has a STRONG interaction with one of my meds, and I’m allergic. I asked, what if I have an allergic reaction to this? He responded with “take a couple Benadryl”. As soon as I started reading the pamphlet, it says “seek medical attention immediately if you experience rash, hives, trouble breathing, etc”. I asked him, why didn’t you just say YOU didn’t carry it, instead of implying it was impossible to get? He said “your insurance won’t cover it regardless”. Needless to say, I’m having the prescription shipped to me in 2 days, it IS covered by my insurance, and this $3000 medication that was “too expensive” is $49 out of pocket. I hope this place shuts down and soon.

No receipt? No refund?I purchased a heating pad and tried to return it with no receipt.I had thrown it into the trash and got covered with Turkey carcass and coffee grounds.With their return policy they will only give you the lowest price the product has sold for in the last 30 days.Since the product is on sale for buy one get one 50% off they would not refund the full price I paid.I didnt even want a refund. I just wanted to exchange it for the smaller pad and get refunded the difference.Nope. They insisted on charging me an additional $20 to exchange it form the smaller and cheaper heating pad.Needless to say I kept the larger heating pad and in will never shadow their doorstep again.There is a Wallgreens right across the street. They Wil get my future business.Update: management called me and offered to make it right.Manager was friendly and kinda apologetic regarding the situation and their management trainee.They exchanged my product and refunded me the difference.

My dog needed some of his seizure medications in a pinch so we had it called in at this location because its 24 hour.I was amazed by how blantantly angry and rude the pharmacist was to us. He was slamming things down against the counter and making us feel like we were an complete inconvenience.Not professional at all. Im sorry you have to work overnight, but Ive been there too and its no excuse for making people feel bad for needing medication at odd hours.

I have only been to this Rite Aid one time and it will definitely be the last. The pharmacist working was one of the most condescending and judgmental people Ive encountered in health care. I normally fill my prescriptions with a different company, but this Rite Aid is the only 24-hour pharmacy in the Portland area. Rude, disrespectful, and dismissive. If I could give this pharmacy a negative rating, I would.

I have been a regular customer for over a decade. I have many perscriptions I have filled here. Over the past several months this pharmacy does not seem capable of getting the very basic functions of the store rite. I dont know if it is new management or policies or just ..... perhaps they are one of the companies no longer requiring a degree? either way I have taken my business to walmart.
