Brought my bike in to get my wheel trued+tensioned. Other shops in the area have lead times >1-2 weeks. Patrick had my wheel perfectly trued within the same day. Also unlike other shops, seems like he keeps you apart of the process and walks you through his assessment of the repair needed, he is clearly very knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

What an exceptional experience!Assisted by the exceptional team of Patrick and Jason, I could tell, from the moment I walked in the door, that my bike and my safety was in good hands.Patrick thoroughly checked my bike and gave me a realistic understanding of what needed to be repaired, along with an accurate estimate.I was fortunate that they had the exact necessary parts on hand, and, to my amazement; the repair was finished the very next day. My bike wasn’t in the shop for more than 24 hours. I understand that these wait times are going to be longer with a higher demand in a busy season, but I was still surprised on this late February weekend, that it would be done so quickly and so well.Very grateful to have this retail/repair within two blocks of my home.

What a great experience this bike shop is. Patrick spent a good deal of his time showing me how my new bike operates and giving me pointers on maintenance that no other bike shop would take the time to explain, and Im a better cyclist for it. This is my new go-to shop in the Twin Cities, couldnt recommend it enough.

Brought my Trek in for a tune-up and was extremely impressed with the service! They were able to turn my bike around in a few hours and at a very reasonable rate. Highly recommend this repair shop!

Outstanding! Seriously, Im trying to think of a better word for my experience and I cant. It was a happy accident that I found this place on my maps, I had an appointment nearby and my tires were already in my car.Patrick was super helpful, knowledgeable, quick and awesome to work with. He showed me where I had been going wrong (Ive had a run of four flats in the last month and a half) and gave me a quick little lesson on the correct way to do it. And that part, the educational bit, is what is going to have me coming back to this shop every time, even though its not terribly close to my home. Easily the nicest experience Ive had at a bike shop in a long time; genuine helpfulness and advice that didnt have me walking out of there feeling like an absolute idiot. Thank you!

I brought in a classic old mountain bike for new shifters and a new rear derailleur. Patrick was super helpful--sourced the right parts, installed them quickly (overnight), and the invoice even came in significantly under the initial estimate. Even though I found the shop to be very busy during the pandemic, they did a great job setting expectations and then exceeding them. I wont hesitate to return for additional service in the future. Outstanding! I have been to many bike shops. This was the best experience ever. I took my bike in for a tune up. Before I left Patrick put my bike on his rack and did a complete inspection. He took the time to show and explain to me what repairs he recommended. He provided a cost estimate which turned out to be the final cost. Not only were the repairs completed in a day, the bike was totaled cleaned and waxed when I picked it up. It is easy to tell that Patrick is knowledgable, cares about his work and has a passion for bikes.

Super knowledgeable, helpful, and timely! Patrick gave his recommendations to me and told me the price of what needs replaced before I left the shop. If you need any sort of bicycle repairs, would highly recommend!

Walked my bike in and he did a free assessment and lubrication, a little tightening, and told me I should change the chain after this season. For free and on the spot as I walked in. I’ll go back when I need anything more done to my bike.

This shop really stands by their service promise. A few weeks ago, I had a flat tire, which Dandy Horse fixed. Today, the same tire started losing air again. They replaced the tube and the valve at no cost to me. Not many businesses stand by their promises these days, but Dandy Horse really did!

Brought in a rim with a broken spoke and they fixed it on the spot.The night before Eriks in Dinkytown said they could not get it fixed any faster than the 23rd which was 14 days out. The quick turn around time was very much appreciated during this busy biking season, walking out of a store with great customer service feels like something of the past. Thank You.

They did a great job on my bike! I brought in a 20 year old bike that hadn’t been worked on since manufacturing. The price of both the tune up and parts were very reasonable. Also, they got it back to me in like 4 days, despite having to order parts. 100% recommend

Cassette came loose while riding through northeast ( my fault ) stopped in to have these guys look at it. I was back on the road within 15 minutes. People there were friendly and professional and it cost me about the same as the Uber I was going to have to take back to south Minneapolis if I didnt get my bike fixed. The guy working on my bike also adjusted my derailleur which i appreciated. I will be going back and I would highly recommend.

New tire & tube done in about an hour and they even rewrapped some separating handlebar tape for free. Nice guys, good shop, will definitely use again. Highly recommended.

Had an issue with my rear derailleur during a recent ride, brought it into the shop, and was able to be back on the road within 15 minutes. Kind, helpful, responsive.

Im relieved that there is a new Bike Repair shop in the neighborhood. I was able to bring my bike in with a flat tire. Patrick was able to fix it on the spot, a brief discussion helped us figure what caused my flat. He recognized and advised that I needed to be filling my tires to appropriate inflation levels. Awesome service!! My new go to bike shop!

Went to get a brake adjustment and parts replaced. Im not one of those bike culture people and I dont have the nicest bike. I just like to bike and I need it to get to work. Not just a convenient spot right in the heart of Northeast, the staff is friendly, professional and can give you a very good idea about pricing and timing up front. I brought two bikes in for a tune up, one needed some more extensive work done. The bikes were done within the time they told me it would be done looking and riding like new.It will be my go to spot from now on.

Cant say Id recommend. Way, way overpriced. Quoted me at around $200 to fix a bicycle that cost $200 to begin with. Brought it to another bike shop they fixed it for $20 bucks.
