Really good coffee drinks and incredible customer service! My daughter got a smoothie sample while we were deciding on what drinks to order and she loved it. We also bought a small bell for her bike and we’re happy about our whole experience.

Had a flat a mile or so from Venture North, so I brought it in to see if they could help. They helped me out right away and got me up and running with a new tube. Unfortunately, there must have been glass in the tire, so I flatted 6 blocks away again. Went back and they helped me out again with a new tire and tube! Super good service and the prices were SO good. Ill be back to support them again for their awesome service, highly recommend!

They didnt want to charge me for my repair. Said I only had a tip jar so I thew him 40 bucks. Wow what service!!! The mocha while I waited was delicious

Went here to get my bike checked out before school started because I was nervous it might not some work after living in my closet all winter. I ended up just needing air and a cleaning and they were very kind and it was a short wait! Had the pleasure of meeting Stacy and chatting with him about Venture North and my experience there. :) Will definitely be coming back for the delicious coffee and bike services!

I had a coffee/tea meeting here with a friend/colleague today. It was my first time visiting Venture North, but its now on my list of favorites! The atmosphere is inviting and friendly, and the coffee was lovely.

Feel very lucky to have found these guys right after moving into town. They put my bike back together. Overall highly skilled, hard-working, fair, good people!

This place rocks! Took my bike in yesterday for just a quick tire and tube change. The employee asked if I had 10 minutes and he could just take care of it really quick. 5-10 Minutes later I was out the door with my tube replaced and I was on my way. Great service, super friendly, and quick turn around. 10/10 would recommend.

Helped my friend donate some bikes there and it was very easy. We are grateful they are repurposing and recycling. The staff was super friendly and the coffee was quite good too. Very chill vibe, nice little hang out.

This is pretty much the only bike shop in North Minneapolis. Luckily, its a good one. Its small, but has a dedicated staff who are friendly to talk to. They have reasonable prices, a pretty good array of accessories, and espresso!. They warrant their labor and are very good about staying on top of that. They are also evidently involved with the community, which is especially important given its the only bike shop in North Minneapolis. Its convenient for me when commuting to or from my home in north. Its just a few blocks from the 19 bus route on Olson Highway. I only wish it were open on Sundays.Update: ordered a new bike through them. Casey the head mechanic sat down with me for a long time to go over the geometry and components for a perfect custom build. I think they would have given the same level of service and expertise regardless of budget size. A good experience overall

I bought a bike from Venture North this January. I was very pleased with the entire experience. The staff was knowledgeable and helped me find the right winter bike at a price that worked for my budget. Their mission is pretty cool too - Im happy to help a small business grow on the Northside.

I came in here to get some work done. They have good coffee, reliable wifi, access to outlets, and a fun environment. It has a community vibe to it. There were lots of regulars coming and chatting with the employees. You can tell that they care about the neighborhood and community.

This is a great little bike shop. Ive been there a few times for repairs and upgrades on my bike, and also for a coffee drink from their cafe. They are always fair and honest, and they do good work. The place isnt as big or fancy as some other shops in the metro, but the employees make up for that. Im happy to have a place like this in my neighborhood.

This place is simply terrific. I took my neighbors bike in for a tire repair. They were fast, friendly and really reasonably priced. AND the coffee is great. What a great addition to North!

This is just a great place to get your bike serviced (or even to buy one!).A local chain bike store in the cities quoted me some high dollar repairs, but when I took it to Venture North, a simple derailleur adjustment solved my problems. However, they DID find some other mechanical issues missed by the other store and fixed them for me, while still salvaging all the still useable components on my bike.I love their mission, their friendliness and their professionalism. Plus the cost was incredibly reasonable and my bike now works impeccably.

Happened across Venture North while searching Craigs List for bikes. Really happy I found them! Jody and his crew are great people, I knew very little about bikes and being a tall guy needed something that would be a comfortable ride to work. Jody helped me out, said he was going to build a couple options and call me back. Got the call a few days later, went there on a Saturday and bought my new bike! Just rode to work the first time this morning and it felt great. Love the fact that Venture North is a non-profit also.

Generous folks who are willing to help anytime. They have very very fair prices, considering the bike culture and outlandish bourgeoise prices you pay at some Minneapolis bike shops. Plus they serve a great pour over from peace coffee. What is not to like.

Great little coffee/bike shop! I was staying at an Airbnb down the street and stumbled upon it by accident, and was happy I did. They were playing good music, and the barista took the time to make a special request drink I asked for that wasn’t on the menu, and she did a great job! They even made a little extra and offered it to me for no extra charge. Will definitely visit again if I come back to town!

Went in to get my bike tuned as I hadnt ridden it for over a year. They took a look at it, filled my tires with air and said I was good to go - that it didnt need a tune up. Saved me $65.

A really special place. I happened into it because it was the closest shop when my tire bit it. Solid workmanship and a welcoming atmosphere. Has an authentic feel of people who care and seems connected into the community.

An honest bike shop that took good care of my needy bike. We also purchased a bike for my partner and its been great. And we had espresso while we waited. They have a mentoring program that works with the neighborhood kids. I just wish they were open on Sundays.

I previously had a negative experience and review at Venture North but Ive changed my mind. Against my better judgement I recently went back to Venture North looking for a used stem and the staff were very helpful, courteous and went out of their way to make sure I got what I needed. Thanks guys, Ill be back!

I bought a brand new bike over sea and I took the bike to the shop to check to make sure everything was safe and ok before I took to the trail. When I picked up my bike, it has lots of scratches on my bike, I am not sure how? I am so frustrated

Really great place. There was not much budget for buying allroude bike. But the guys picked me a bike. Established a couple of parts and provided a discount. I also had a nice time drinking a cup of coffee while waiting for my bike. Highly recommend this store. And also, in the Store one guy speaks Russian.
