Great customer service, huge selection of products, and priced reasonably. Always able to locate what I need. Online ordering is easy to use. Friendly employees who go above the norm in customer service. Much better than that green roofed place north of there.

The store was clean, organized, everything was easy to locate and had a great variety of things that I needed. The employees however were a different story... I like to enjoy my shopping experience at a store and take my time to thoroughly make my decisions. So that I dont have to return items, make an impulse buy, and get everything on my list. I noticed a few employees starting to follow me excessively and then realized they were the supervisors. They repeatedly came up to check or assist me when I was in an isle for longer than they liked. But I realized they were only doing this because they thought I was trying to steal. I had overheard them whispering and mention it on their walkies. Them following me got so ridiculous they were hiding in the shelves between the isles. When I had caught one of the supervisors hiding he quickly pretended to be picking up items n climbed off the shelf. Only to do it again once I turned around.

Bought appliances. Was told at time of purchase that I only had two days from the delivery date to return them if there was something wrong. Microwave doesn’t work. I called and was told that I could bring it back. I brought it in and now am told that I can’t return it. It has to go through whirlpool. Drove an hour to return it. If a company can’t stand by there word or by their products what kind of company are they. Very disappointed, especially with them not being forthcoming with how the returns on appliances go. Really glad it wasn’t the refrigerator that didn’t work. I would have to go 9 days with out one. Poor management to let things like this happen.Update to my review. Changed from 1 star to 3 stars because of Ken. After whirlpool wouldn’t refund my purchase because I took the appliance out of the home I called the store and asked for a manager. I told Ken my story and he said he would look in to it and call me back. He did call and said the notes on the account said that they would take it back because it was after the 48 hours. That was a lie. And I told him it wasn’t true. He said regardless of what happened he needed to take care of his customers. I took it back the next day and got a refund. Thank you Ken for doing the right thing! I think some junior manager training from Ken would greatly improve the image of the store.

I Am amazed with this home depot and all its employees.I am a project manager by trade and I have been to at least 200+ home depots in my life time; up and down the coast of California in the past 15 years of being in the trades. When it comes to home depots trust me, they are not all the same. This home depot should be a roll model for all the other home depots out there . Having spent at least 100 K + working for other contractors at home depots in the past 15 years, I have sometimes took my business elsewhere to lumber yards in the past because of the incompetence I have dealt with and I could honestly say that is done with since I found this home depot in Minot. If all home depots where managed and run like this home depot, all contractors might want to just stick with home depot forever ! What makes this Home Depot the greatest home depot in the world, TEAM work. Each one of those employees in there works and operates like they had 5 S training ( a training method to improve life, and work.) They go above and beyond for their customers! For someone like me who loves to get projects going at home or at work, a good store and quality advice is the key to success.Take my word for it, I could write a book on all the times I have been helped out at this home depot, they are really there for you. With having to remodel a 3000sq ft. old victorian, I was super stressed out, old houses are lots of work when being remodeled for those who dont know. All the materials I needed I purchased from home depot and they are amazing quality.So for your next project, let home depot help you with your punch list and knock it out with their expertise help along the way .

Nice store, there seemed to be a lot of workers and they were all willing to help which is nice, because when I go to my local Lowes it is impossible to find anyone to help you. I also love the garden center at the Home Depot. Such a large variety of plants and planters. I wish we still had one in our hometown.

HOME DEPOT IS A HUGE STORE WITH MORE PRODUCTS THAN ONE CAN IMAGINE. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS GOOD & THEYRE VERY HELPFUL TO CUSTOMERS LOCATING LOOKING FOR PRODUCTS. Wasnt impressed when purchasing a lawn mower and we needed help getting it out to our vehicle. Had to stand there and wait for a gentleman to assist when there were several females up front that couldve helped me load it into my vehicle. They said they didnt have a lot person on duty.

Great and knowledgeable staff. Everyone is super friendly too and will talk to you and see if you need help.Theyll always take the time to see what you need. Personally Ive had some pretty good help in the wood and outdoor department. Talking to a lady about picking up an order I had a average service as we were on different pages on where I was supposed to pick stuff up. Outdoor supplies helped me load a shed onto my truck and they did it with a smile.

Wood average quality, people somewhat helpful, self service for the most part. Used to grade wood in sawmill, based on that limited selection of wood grades. Not enough sales. Used to go to home depot in AZ instead of Lowes, better quality of wood there, no such selection in Minot, ND

Enjoy the fact no matter who Ive asked for specific tools or parts and they had accurately directed me to the correct aisle each time. Plus they match any other prices if local competitors (even menards 11% off entire store dealnif you bought thru home depot during the time the deal was active.. just gotta enter reciept info into A specific site and they will send you a gift card in the mail with the difference a few weeks later)

Had $250 of paint shipped to the wrong address across town despite correcting the girl at the counter twice while she put in the order. We called asking about it and we basically got, Sorry its already been delivered its not our problem anymore. Will not be ordering anything from this store again.

Home Depot respects your right to not wear a mask. Unlike Menards who just kicked me out.

Special ordered a shed, went to pick it up and it was damaged. The associates did the best they could to help make the best of the situation, so my beef isnt with the local workers, but with home depot the company.

Helpful cashier. Bought too much stuff and I had to go get my truck. She kept my purchases until I came back to retrieve them.

I went to purchase your Milwaukee tool sale Father’s Day special for 499 they did not have any and they did not know when they were going to get any I spoke to the tool sales manager who shrugged me off my son found these tools online at another store had them shipped to his home for days later I was very disappointed at the Minot store tool sale manager

Just an appreciation review. Rarely do you know how unappreciated their customer service is, until you visit another local hardware store, and the closest thing to help you can get, is check isle xxx, its over there somewhere. Home depot, although may come off as an annoyance at times, always has staff readily available to guide you in the correct direction. I actually find myself leaving other places, unable to find a certain product, just to go to home depot and have them guide me to exactly what I want.

I went to in to look for outside Wyze camera and I asked 4 people to help me. 2 of them said go down isle 2, then 2 other people helped me and they went out of there way to help me which I really appreciated. The item I wanted hadnt been put on the floor yet but showed online they had it. So, one of them looked and looked and finally found it above it above the shelves! He grabbed a ladder and got it for me! I couldnt really see his name on his smock said Alex or maybe Axel he works in lumber. I know I for sure saw an X and L. But hes a Rockstar! I didnt catch the other mans name either.

Great place to shop. I have had nothing but the best service from their wonderful staff. The Home Depot stands behind the products that they sell in store and online. Free and easy returns even with online purchases. I highly recommend the Home Depot to everyone.

Helpful staff and good selection of product. Daughter loves the workshops they have on weekends. Her little orange HD apron is full of project pins. Very family friendly.

Great place to go to get home repair and hobby stuff. The staff has always been plentiful and helpful. Today was perfect example, needed a ladder to fix some siding. First person I saw knew exactly where to find what I needed and found a couple of other useful items on the way out.

She helped me find my item immediately, only to find out that she was a cashier. Home Depot, SPECIFICALY homedepot.com, is absolutely terrible. If you want something, go to Lowes, go to Menards, go to Wal-Mart even! This store needs to leave Minot. Waiting for the day they shut down and we can have a real store like Lowes placed in here.

Decent store,well kept and clean. It is easy to find. Good store for people that dont really know what they are doing. If you know what you are doing then Menards is a better option as the prices are better and the selection is bigger

In parking lot as I type. Just bought a few hundred bucks worth of electrical stuff. Wanted to post about Jimbo. AWESOME AND VERY HELPFUL. Saved me a bunch of money. Offered alternate suggestion that resulted in saving us money and enabling a much better home generator installation. Came out to the parking lot as we were loading up and even gave us some more essential information. This is the definition of AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE. Many thanks.
