Oh my goodness There are not enough stars for this Practice.All were courteous, professional and prompt.When choosing glasses, which is an awful job, no need to worry here!CODY and MARY are fabulous!They will not fail you. I have been going here for a few years and each time is the same.The BEST glass pickers I have ever dealt with. I have wore glass For 10+ year and by far my favorite place, will not disappoint !

Its nice to be able to see again. My last 2 eye doctor visits did not get me back to super clear but Johnsons dialed me right in. No wonder they are so busy it was worth the wait.

I was very pleased to be accepted by Johnson Eye Care. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. Professionalism was apparent when we walked in the door. Christy took care of me right away; Dr. Johnson was very thorough in his exam, not rushing but spending time to get the right prescription for the patient. Wonderful experience from the moment I entered to the moment I left! First, I had no clue how big this place was! It is very deceiving from the outside. It was great though and I enjoyed seeing the variety of glasses they had to offer. Everyone was very nice and helpful and I do plan on returning in the future to buy some frames! Dr. Johnson was very professional and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. The nice lady who initially took my back to do a few tests was also very helpful and explained what all those fancy devices do! All in all great experience!

Everyone there is so sweet and caring. Gave excellent advice on my glass choices and feedback on which ones they thought framed my face the best. The eye exam was quick and thorough and Dr.Johnson is one of my favorite ophthalmologist. Excellent at his job and very funny at the same time. Could never go to a different place

When my old optometrist stopped carrying my insurance it was difficult finding a new one that did. I was super thankful to find Johnson Eyecare & Eyewear does! Not only do they accept my insurance they’re super friendly and very knowledgeable.

My self, my daughter, and son all had back to back appointments. Check in was very easy and the staff was super friendly. My kids were taken care of to the highest standards. Mary and Cody are hands down the best. They were both honest, friendly, and made choosing new specs a truly great experience. Not to mention they put up with my never ending shenanigans and made my indecisiveness fun. Definitely could not recommend enough and I’m currently trying to think of reasons to go back in just so I can chat with the two of them ;-)

Yes the staff is friendly, yes they have a nice office. But, my prescription was incorrect which was confirmed by another doctor. It was entirely too strong. We had to leave the area and so I had to order all new glasses. We asked for some kind of compensation just for the lenses since I used the frames for the correct lenses. That was a hard no. If I had used the lenses they said I needed I could have damaged my eyes. Absolutely do not have an eye exam done here. Also this business is not BBB accredited so no recourse available there.

The staff is always so quick and friendly every single time I have to come in! They get me in and out smoothly which is wonderful since I have to use my break at work to get to appointments!! They are all so willing to help and make it a very pleasant experience all around!

First we showed up early. They checked us in right away. They had all 3 all of us back in rooms before our actual appointment time. Cody helped me very polite and professional, great young man! My 12 and 9 year old were done and felt completely comfortable going by themselves. Dr Johnson and Christy did my my exam, it was fast and answered every question I had. Explained what he had seen with my kids and myself. I wanted to try contacts Christy helped me, I am not a fan of touching my eyes but with her help I got it in no time. I would highly recommend Johnson Eyecare and Eyewear!

Friendly enough staff. Received tons of text messages from a Carmen before appointment asking for insurance information. Let her know I will call when I’m available outside of work. She still kept texting me asking for information. Mix-up with appointment time. It wasn’t scheduled for the time I requested, so it looked like we were late for our appointment. Also, when asking at the time of making the appointment, what the costs upfront would be and was only told co-payment. However, they wanted money upfront for the ordering of the glasses and frames. I was not told that, so wasn’t able to order at the time. Even with my Insurance allowance it cost $250/pair of glasses. I wasn’t prepared for that. Will be going elsewhere for the glasses and frames for a lower price. Not such a good experience for the first visit!

I absolutely love every person at Johnson Eyecare. They are personable, helpful, kind, and most importantly, honest. I have been a patient of Johnson Eyecare for almost 10 years and I have no plans of going elsewhere.

Great job by Erin who made me comfortable and took pictures of my eyes for Dr. Unruh. Great job by Dr. Unruh for smiling so brightly I could see it through her Covid mask during my assessment. Great job by Amanda who helped me find the frames I liked and giving me information to make an affordable, educated decision on my purchase. Back to the front desk where again I was impressed by the willingness to help by a young lady who answered my random questions even though she was working on something else. What a GREAT experience with Johnson Eyecare. So great to see customer service at such a high level in the craziness of today’s world!!

Rough time getting in. My 4/22 appointment was cancelled w/o notice when the office closed, and I was not contacted to reschedule when the office reopened. I stopped by in person the end of May and finally had my appointment on 6/10.The appointment was flawless. All of the medical staff were beyond excellent. Dr. Johnson was clear and honest about my specific needs--he told me what he felt was best for me, AND what he thought I could postpone. The entire medical staff was supportive, patient, kind and professional

Had a quick reacquaint appointment today after the initial COVID-19 shutdown. I did my pre-paperwork online and had no waiting time to be seen. Dr Johnson was his usual jovial self. He always explains we any procedure performed and discusses in detail any issues you might have with your eyes. All the staff were very helpful, as always. While I was there I had them do an adjustment on my sunglasses which made them fit better.

Been my optometrist for years and I’ve always been satisfied. Large selection of glasses and usually has my contacts in stock. Friendly staff. Visited recently with minimal wait time in lobby, got vitals and eye pressure taken and a quick wait to see doc. I have never had any complaints about this place. I would highly recommend!

Figuring that would be a decent way to avoid being put on hold since all I really wanted to know is if they accepted United healthcare insurance because on my app it says they do but on their site it’s not listed. Anyway. I texted a week ago. NO RESPONSE. I may not see well, but I can see that they don’t value customer service. So I’ll be going to a different Dr.

They have a great staff there very friendly and helpful. Plus they have a lot of patience, I was picking out new glasses and struggling what I wanted and they did not rush me.

This eye clinic is the best. They are all so friendly when you walk in the door to the persons who do the tests. Dr Johnson is so patient and is never in a hurry. He is willing to answer any question you may have. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who has a need for vision care.

Wow, what courtesy and exceptional service with a smile. Another local shop didn’t even want me to come in! I broke a lens from my Oakley eyeglasses I didn’t buy there. I’m traveling from out of state for a work assignment at Trinity Health for 3 weeks and didn’t bring a spare. I walked in and showed them the problem and less than 10” later walked out! They didn’t ask me if I was a previous customer-they just helped me and declined my offer to pay them with a smile!!! They will get my business in the future!
