Joellen is wonderful with our daughter! During online lessons, she is patient if there are any connectivity issues (we live in a remote part of town) and quick to help problem solve. Joellen is cognizant of working with children and their attention spans, their abilities and how to encourage them in their music studies. MGA has been a great place to begin my daughters guitar studies and further her development.

I have been studying classical guitar at MGA for about 10 years. Mr. Miller has developed a program that works for all levels of players. For beginners you start with book one, which teaches you proper technique and reading skills. By the time you advance through book four you will be playing at the intermediate level and you will be well on your way to advanced playing. I highly recommended MGA!

My son has been taking lessons since Fall of 2017 and we couldnt be happier with how much he has learned. He is 7 years old and is quickly advancing all due to his love for music, but also because Mr. Miller motivates him and is very patient as well.
