I’ve been doing business with Cadence 120 for years now and they are always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I bought a bike there seven years ago, have ridden and enjoyed it and it has held up perfectly. They’ve kept their word and honored their lifetime adjustments guarantee and it helps me keep the bike running great! Don’t hesitate to do business here. You won’t regret it!

Great place and great prices for your new bicycle. Brad was great to talk to, he asked us the right questions to match us up with our new bikes. Even looks like they got a great group of guys that can work or repair any bike you got. Go see them and try them out. Thank you our new bikes!

Great service! I shopped here a few times and have always came out satisfied. My chain got loose when I was biking today and one of the workers saw me walking with my bike. He stopped and helped me fix it real quick. He didn’t have to do it, but he did it anyway. Best bike shop around!!

Great selection of high end bikes. They also do good service work, but be sure to verify your out the door price as what they quote you before starting work is sometimes significantly less than what they charge when you pick up your bike.

Fantastic shop, always well stocked with a kids bike to a pro level bike and everything in between. They have a super knowledgeable staff with solid mechanics. If cycling is your thing then Cadence is a bike shop that will meet all your needs. I purchased two bikes from them and have always been happy with the service I received.

They looked over my bike after I took a tumble. Fixed the front wheel at a reasonable price. I rode it in the parking lot, took it back in and the gentleman listened to my concern (noise in front wheel area), tweaked the brake pads, so it worked smoothly. Great service. Dont be afraid to ask for a recheck.

Visited today and when I entered the store the three workers didn’t look up or greet me. I really wanted to turn around and leave, but I needed them to look at my stroller tire and tell me what could be done. Yes they are knowledgeable, but their customer service needs some work! Also, the charge for the tube was less than the labor for them to install it. Really...if you buy a product, less than $10, they should install it free of charge! Oh well, I will not be back.

Giant dealer and some cool consignment finds. Friendly knowledgeable staff that can make quick work of your repairs. They have good information about local trails for off road, and lips for long or short road rides. Quality accessories, parts, gear and apparel.

Over 20+ years, I have bought multiple bikes at Cadence 120 - road, tri, and kids. Have had them all serviced there as needed and as exceeded my ability. Product selection is excellent in brand and price. Service is also. Cadence 120 has my unqualified recommendation. Never a disappointment, always a pleasure.

They had my bike for over 2 weeks and never touched it or called me with an update . I called several times to check on it and they were always scheduling it to be worked on. I called one more time and got the same answer so I just said forget it and went and picked it up.

20 years ago, my buddies and I had nice mountain bikes and rode everywhere. Brad and Cadence 120 always assisted us for a very fair rate. They would even install junk on our bike we didnt even purchase from them. 20 years later and presently I have been consistently running and needed an outlet for low impact cardio exercise. Brad and Cadence 120 have been essentially in the same location all this time - Is it possible a store could remain open, especially in the Old Shell / University location for (what I just found out to be) 30 years by providing poor dishonest service - that is impossible. In the total absence of any prior research I relied on Brad & C120 for my purchase; they spent plenty of time with me on bike selection. As we dove deeper, they satisfied many questions and provided great solutions. Brad & C120 did a fantastic job propelling me into the sport with great service and product selection; I even got a discount on a Giant carbon framed road bike, other products, and a C120 jersey. After I began riding and getting my feet wet, Brad and C120 was readily available even through social networks to provide coaching and helpful riding advice. If youre in shape (or I guess out of...) and looking to diversify your cardio and workout regimen - dont waste your valuable time doing tons of research while speculating - rely on long time experience and know how - rely on Brad & C120 to set you up with products that are tested by themselves to get you going - It is well worth the $. Thank you Brad & C120 for a great service in Mobile, AL.

Life saver. Literally. I had a Saris 3-bike rack hooked-up to my PT Cruiser. My Jamis bikes all but fell off in the tunnel in Mobile. They held on by a small clamp. Could have been a major, major problem. We were moving to Florida, so I found Cadence 120 on my iPad. With one phone call, I was able to land a deal where theyd break down my bikes and UPS them to my new home in FL within 45 minutes flat, all for a fair price. Easy. Pleasure to deal with, too. Disaster averted. :-) BTW, their shop is *choice*. Very well decorated. Nice!

Never go to this place. If zero stars were an option, Id give zero. I brought my bikes there to get longer handlebars. I was told they would call me with an estimate after checking on the cost for the handlebars and longer cables. No word at all until they called after doing the work. $320. Ridiculous. The clerk was rude and took close to 20 minutes for me to pick up the bikes and pay the ridiculous price. When I asked why it was so expensive the clerk brad essentially told me we had cheap bikes that needed lots of work. Mind you these are brand new bikes from Academy we bought to ride on the beach - no reason to spend a fortune. All we needed were longer handelbars and cables for a comfortable ride. You would recognize the clerk. He looks like a wanna be but less intelligent stoner barista. Very lazy, didnt even help open the doors while I was trying to get two bikes out. Looking back I should have known better and test rode the bikes. So incompetent that they didnt even adjust the gears. Neither bike will go into first gear and both click like they are between gears. I considered returning to there and asking them to complete the job. After thinking about it, I wouldnt let them air up the tires.NEVER WASTE A SINGLE HARD EARNED DOLLAR AT THIS INCOMPETENT ESTABLISHMENT.

I purchased I bike from these people and I came back a year later because the bike had major issues. (Cracked frame etc.) I only ride on the road and this is a mountain bike! Also, when I went back they acted like I was not in the system from when I purchased and then acted like my proof of purchase was from someone else. All in all they did not help me try to honor my manufacturers warranty and I will not be using this store of Giant again.Lastly, I have had similar issues in the past when I first bought the bike and I took it in for routine maintenance and fittings ( less than a a month (45 miles) after purchase. After coming back they said I needed my full brake system replaced which would cost 250 plus!! I just bought the bike but being new to the game I took the bait. Screw thes guys and watch out. If you want a tip buy your bike online and install it yourself or buy it preassembled from a place like REI etc or visit the bike shops in Birmingham... trust me it will be worth it.

I needed a fitting done and couldnt find a shop near me that could do it on a Saturday without an appointment; I called Cadence 120 and they told me to come on in, first positive sign. When I got there I noticed that the shop had a nice open floor, nothing like a warehouse full of bike parts, but certainly bigger and with more roaming space than most shops, it was clean and well laid out. Selection of parts and accessories seems on-par, if not slightly better than most. The fitting went great, and the staff was very knowledgeable. While I was there I decided to go ahead and get a new pair of shoes (without checking the price of the same model online, something I rarely do) and cleats.Since the previous reviewer states that the prices were outrageous, heres my review: fitting pricing was very fair at $100, which is standard as I checked many locations before getting one done. After I got home I did some research and the shoes I purchased; on Amazon the shoes were $30 higher, on pricepoint they were about $3 cheaper after shipping. Seems like a great deal to me. The cleats had somewhat of a visible markup, at $50 instead of the standard $40 (Speedplay Zero), but ordering online with shipping will run you $46.99. $50 from a clean, helpful shop seems very fair to me.Overall, I think this is a great shop, it may be slightly more expensive than clearance-internet pricing but they also have a much nicer facility and more employees working than most shops, not to mention the prices are easily still fair. Also, the shop stocks many of the higher-end model bikes that they sell. They of course didnt have them in every size, but if youre spending $5,000+ on a bicycle, you at least want to see one in person first - something most shops dont offer. If youre looking for a $100 beach cruiser to ride around the cul-de-sac, this may not be the shop for you; but if youre looking for a knowledgeable shop that carries nice cycling equipment and has friendly employees, by all means, stop by and check out Cadence 120.
