Wonderful fruitcakes and customer service! The fruitcakes are just like my mothers and the taste brings back so many memories not only to say they make wonderful Christmas gifts or a gift of any time! They come on a beautiful tin can that can be kept for storage of sentimental items are just about anything ! Love this place have shopped here for many years! To order and deliver made simple be sure to make them your go to for any kind of homemade cakes candies pecans they are the best!

Went there to get a gift and left happy and amazed, you can see all the hard work and love they put in the product. And the store manager was friendly and very knowledgeable of the history of the place. I know where I’m getting my Christmas gifts 🤩

I first visited Three Georges back in about 1973. What can beat a good old ice cream parlor? There milkshakes are great (better depending on the mixologist expert) but certainly it is their confections that you might never forget!

Ive always loved this place. They have some of the best chocolate in the south. And everyone there is so friendly and helpful.

Excellent gumbo, they were out of muffaletta bread.

Slow service with only one working but well worth the wait. Georges Sundae was fabulous. Would like to visit again if in Mobile.

So glad we found this place on our short trip in mobile! The staff were soooo friendly and helped us find the perfect candys/chocolates for our taste. They even gave us some history on the shoppe, as my husband and I were very interested! We bought lots of treats and already are wanting to plan a trip back for more !!!

Refused to serve ice cream to me for absolutely no reason other than saying they stopped serving for the day even though they were not closing for another hour - but he served ice cream to the folks that arrived after me. I Was extremely polite even after being told they weren’t going to serve me. I had explained gently I had been waiting to order before those other folks arrived - he was still scooping the other groups ice cream when my friend asked me the flavor I was going to get - the gentlemen became very hostile to the point of aggressively dismissing / raiding his voice at me. but I never said a word veering from polite dialogue even after that..my friend with me was of asian descent - and though you never want to accuse anyone of bias without knowing exactly the case / it felt that it was a factor in his arbitrary cruelty. As he visibly treated the other group differently than he did ours. It’s sad because I’d been there before alone and always had been treated very well. This just felt awkward and disheartening.

First time visiting there. It was very nice. I highly recommend the cheese straws.

Great root beer floats and milk shakes. Candy made in house was fabulous. Try the orange peels!

Milkshakes have barely any ice cream in them. Ice cream is basic. Tried a couple of chocolate, theyre ok.overall an overpriced experience

We wanted something sweet after dinner across the street and this place delivered. It has the look of an old soda shoppe. They have chocolates and sweets but the milkshakes were the bomb.

The overall shop has a cute small town feel. My husband ordered a milkshake and it was ok. The real treat here was the young lady that helped us when we came in. She was funny and inquisitive about our travels. I hope she is able to visit amazing places in her future. ❤

Had lots of colorful candy which is what I needed. They also had chocolates. The prices were a bit high. But overall they had what I needed🙂

Sweet treats! The best way to beat the summer heat in Mobile is with one of their delicious milk shakes. A fun place to take the kids when they are making the candy. A gourmet selection of milk, dark and white chocolate goodies and a fine selection of sugar-free candies too.

I came at 9 when it said they were open online. Saw lights on inside, door was open, but the sign on the door said closed. I went in and nobody was there. I was on a time restraint so I didnt have time to stick around and wait.

We got some of their chocolates. The milk chocolate covered oranges were absolutely delicious. We were debating on getting one of their sandwiches and a bowl of gumbo but were not hungry enough at the moment. Definitely a cute shop to visit and the nice ladies there have great customer service.

I just had their Gumbo for the first time today and I must say that was probably the best Gumbo I have EVER had at any restaurant in Mobile County or Baldwin County! WOW truly very good! You will not be disappointed!

Good selection of candies and chocolate, mostly fresh for a better price than the fancy chocolate box in the stores/online. Not sure everything is done in house though. Staff needs to be more helpful and friendlier. They also need to do a better job packaging for especial occasions (need more variety). When weighting my items, the guy blocked my view to the scale so it was hard to know I was not being cheated. Scale should be located in a place where the customer can clearly see it. Lastly, why are these places now making you sign these electronic registers that ask for tip when they are just selling you something? Nothing different than going to your local store and buy groceries; you dont tip at Walmart or Target right?

We visited this diner for lunch. We ordered the Muffaletta and it was delicious. The staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming. We had a nice conversation about our common travels and Thomas told us about the local Alabama sausage Conecuh & let us try a sample. We immediately bought some and put it in our jambalaya. We highly recommend this place

Just in to check it out. I have a sweet tooth. Got a few pieces of chocolate to try. Love the old vibes of the place. Been in Business a long time, and still a functioning old fountain drink with chairs/bar to sit at. Charming 😀

Our group of eight stopped in for lunch because of their sign on the street advertising lunch. We basically overwhelmed them. Food was good but they are not set up to be a restaurant. Took an extremely long time to get eight sandwiches made.

We did the Bienville Bites tour ( Highly recommend) this was one of the stops on the tour. Tasha showed us how the pralines were made and sampled them. She puts on a good show. Well worth the time.

The chocolate dipped oranges and peanut butter filled chocolates were incredible! The raspberry filled chocolate was good, but not as good as the others

Such ignorant people and interested. If I could, Id give this place a FAT 0!

Rude staff and management doesnt care. Left them a message with no replies about how staff has been rude the past several times I have gone. Images on their Facebook have people making candy with no gloves on. Nasty!!

It is sad when you called the store to confirm what their hours are. The lady that answered was guessing at her business hours. Called to see if they were still selling fruitcakes. I was told what they had and she said all we can do is tell you what the bakery sends up. So I called today and another lady answer. Was told again what they had. I asked can I order a fruit cake? I was told well you have to call the bakery...

In the middle of the afternoon and in the heat of Mobile, we were looking for a place where we could eat ice cream with the children and we came across Three George by chance.The ice creams are homemade and absolutely delicious. I recommend the pecan nut.If you want a lemonade, it will be made in front of you old-fashioned with real lemons.Nothing seems to have changed here since 1917 ... and as long as it lasts.It is an ideal stop after a visit of the fort located a few hundred meters away.
