Snow tires were ordered ahead, there and installed as promised according to quote. Arrive early before it opens with your hot cup of coffee! Service with a smile even though there is a long line when lights go on and doors open. Friendly and knowledgeable.

Made an appointment for snow tires, inspection, oil change and to check if I really needed a large job done that another service center said I needed. (there were no symptoms and the other place saw it when tires rotated-would have been $1500 job).Dropped car off night before to be left for the whole day. Picked it up end of day and cost less than $1000 for 4 new Toyo all weather tires for my Highlander, an inspection, oil change and a front end alignment and a No I didnt need new control arms.I felt that they were honest as to cost of services and didnt try to pad bill with unnecessary work. We will use them in the future for both our cars.

We had an issue with a leaky valve stem on our Mini Cooper. We tried several tire shops to get the valve replaced. A couple did not have the correct part and one told me he didn’t have time to mess with a small job.This dealer worked us into their busy schedule to get it done. They weren’t certain they had the correct valve on hand. I was told at another shop that some of the local auto parts store may have the valve I needed. Advanced Auto Parts did have one their computer system said was a match. Bought it just in case.As it turned out this shop did not have the correct part on hand so installed the one I bought as it was correct. This shop then only charged me a very minimum fee for installing the one I bought.They were great, friendly and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend them for your vehicle tire needs!

My experience at Vermont Tire was extraordinary. I was having two tires replaced and had brought plenty of reading material, along with my dog, for the several hours I expected to be there. I was in and out in half an hour. Everyone was helpful and friendly, especially the manager (I forget his name but he was big and muscular.) who was friendly and hyper-competent. I evacuated New Orleans due to Hurricane Ida and once I got to Vermont I had my tires rotated. They seemed different when driving so I had Vermont Tore perform and alignment. They were super speedy and friendly and I was in and out in about 30 minutes. Plus they did a safety check for my long ride home. Would highly recommend.

The employees that I spoke to at Vermont Tire in Montpelier talked down to me and were unprofessional. I don’t usually write reviews because I am extremely understanding but the way I was treated and disrespected at this place blows my mind. I am a young woman and they definitely belittled me and spoke to me like I had no idea what I was talking about. Granted, I am not a professional with cars but I do deserve respect and I did not receive that at this place. One employee insisted that it was not my place to make the decisions about my car, it is theirs since they are the professional. I am disappointed with this company: do better.

Highly recommend. They fit me in last minute on the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. It was less than an hour for all 4 tires and the price was competitive with larger firms.

My daughter and son-in-law live locally and recommended VT Tire for the oil change I needed before heading out on the road for home in southern California. The guys were awesome from the get-go, and in their general checking of fluid levels and tire pressure, they found a nail in one of the tires that was leaking air slowly, and offered to take care of the repair. So glad they caught that! Then, on the way home from the shop, I pulled into a market to pick up some groceries and saw that I had a full-on flat!! (Not the tire that had been repaired.) I called the shop a little flummoxed: Patrick was awesome in response and came immediately to my aid. We got the car back to the shop where Matt and he organized a new tire to replace the original which turned out to have a blown sidewall (no doubt the delayed result from unfortunate encounter with a pothole on the Garden State Parkway the day before on my drive to VT). In sum: extraordinary service and expertise, offered graciously to an out-of-towner, one-time customer. Could not recommend VT Tire & Service more highly. Thanks to the whole crew!

Called with request to repair flat tire, they said to come on in first come first serve. When I arrived they took my information got my car in the shop and repaired my flat tire. 20 bucks and 1/2 hour later I was on my way. Great service!

I’ll start by saying, looking for snow tires in mid February was my fault. I found out that most snow tires are out of stock this time of the year. But the guys at Vermont Tire & Service found the snow tires that I wanted that day. I dropped of my truck the next day and the staff got them installed and did all the necessary resetting of the sensors. Good job guys!!

Dropped car off with the understanding that I had an appointment and would be able to pick truck up by 4 pm. 4pm comes, I try and pick truck up, hasn’t even been pulled in yet. Was fed a line of bs about being next. Waste of my time this place is.....Edit to respond to Mark R. I appreciated your first come first serve business model and would like to let you know that my car was dropped off the night before and key was in the slot. I filled out the envelope and requested that my truck be ready by 4pm. I had another appointment to get to. The request on the envelope was either ignored or missed. Attention to detail is must in the customer service industry.

Dropped off a small tube-type tire for repair during a VERY BUSY time of seasonal tire change-overs. They called a few hours later and said it was ready. The cost of repair was about 1/2 of what I expected to pay.. 😊

Had them install new tires on a new set of wheels for me and they did a great job at a reasonable price. Contacted them the next day to see if they could help me out getting some coil springs on a pair of struts as the loaner compressor I got didnt work for my vehicle. They said they had a spring compressor but werent willing to do it because I didnt buy the parts from them. I understand places make a lot of their money on parts, but I already had the new springs and was willing to compensate them for whatever they thought was fair. In the end a little disappointed considering I just gave them my business the day before.

Good work, fair prices. These folks will sell you quality Cooper tires, and help you keep your car running in a strait line on Vermont’s winding roads that are full of pot holes and any number of things that can send your vehicle; quickly into disrepair.

Vermont Tire and Service truly deserves this 5-star rating. I wish I could give them more. They made what could have been a very challenging day for me, extremely easy and smooth. I am from out of state and had gotten a flat tire in the area. They answered my call right away, had the exact tire my car needed, prioritized my tire replacement upon arrival, gave me a shuttle ride to my meeting destination (I was expecting to arrive late based on the tire issues but was early!), and finished replacing the tire much earlier than I even needed it! The price was very reasonable and they gave me great advice on when to replace my other tires. I am so grateful for how easy they made my experience. I hope never to have car issues in this area again but if I do, I know exactly who to call! Highly recommend.

I did a lot of shopping around and found what I thought were some good deals on Tire Rack but after seeing an out-the-door quote from these guys I decided that buying tires directly from them was the way to go. They had the quoted tires in stock and I was driving away in about three hours after walking in without an appointment. To top the experience off they carefully bagged and loaded my winter tires in my car so I didnt have to.

Professional, timely & courteous...went in to get my snow tires put on but needed some more last minute work to be done on my car. Even though I hadn’t originally scheduled this work to be done they were more than cooperative to do this “extra” work for me.

I’ve been bringing my vehicles here for a few years now and I’ve always been pleased with the service. As far as buying tires and change overs go, you get a lot of extras at no cost if you buy tires through them. If you need work done on your vehicle, they’ve always done a great job for me (brakes, suspension, tune up, alignment, oil changes, etc.). They’ve always called when they found other problems and they’ve always done the work they have billed for. Price is very reasonable as well!

Didn’t properly balance new wheels. Brand new tires brand new wheels. Car shakes on highway. They told husband we could come back because they guarantee work, shouldn’t have to do this with NEW set. Waste of time and I don’t trust them to make it right. I’d rather go somewhere else

I changed winter tires to summer tires 10 days ago at a different business and that business closed for two weeks. A slow leak developed in one of my tires right after they closed. I brought my car and problem to Vermont Tire and i’m so glad I did. They diagnosed the problem quickly, did the repair and the cost was very reasonable. The staff there was excellent and professional. I’ve always had positive experiences in the past as well at Vermont Tire. I would recommend them highly.
