The outdoor landscaping is inspired and the seasonal decorations are a delight. And there is beautiful outdoor cat who provides entertainment and eventually, affection. Loved my deva cut! Mary took a lot of time explaining the cut to me, how to style and care for my hair, and sent me home with samples of the products she used. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Staff was beyond friendly and the establishment is beautiful. The deva cut is $80 and well worth it. It was recommended I could wait 2-3 months between cuts, so IMO thats a bargain.

Ive been going to Nico Spalon for several years. Whitney is the best and a great colorist-she knows what questions to ask to make sure I get the color/tone that I want. She worked with me prior to my sons wedding to ensure my hair was the right length for the style I chose and she also did my make up for the wedding. She was amazing! I looked like myself (only better!) and my hair and make up lasted the entire day. Love it there-professional yet friendly from the time I walk in the door!

It was my first time at Nico Spalon. I felt at home as soon as I walked in the door. I checked in and was offered a beverage. Was greeted by my stylist Kristen a few minutes later. I had a Deva cut and style. This salon is one of few close to me that offer this dry cut on curly hair. I love it. My curls are much healthier and have bounced back since some of the weight was taken off. I will be going back for a color next. Highly recommended!

I have been to Nico Spalon a few times and I have never been disappointed! The staff is always cheerful and willing to assist. The first time I went I had Rachel Ware as my cosmetologist and it was wonderful! She had the willingness to that extra mile to talk about different styles and looks. She was able to see right through my hairtype and express why I should attempt a different cut than I normally do. It was beyond what I expected and I loved it! Audra also does a killer blowout. It amazes me how she can dry/style my [fine-textured] hair using nothing but a round brush and give it volume that lasts for days. I have naturally curly hair and have found a lot of hairstylist be intimidated by my curls but not Kristen! I went in for my first DevaCut and was beyond impressed. She took the time to explain the process to me and then patiently cut each curl one by one! We joked about starting my hair journey together and I could tell she was genuine about getting me to the healthy curls I need! The price of a DevaCut is higher but well worth it. Im excited to have found a stylist that is dedicated to curls!

I was very lucky when I was given the recommendation to go to Ashley Cage at NICO! I have been nothing but thrilled with her work and my experience at NICO Spalon! They are amazingly professional, always positive and friendly, and the environment/customer service is a cut above the rest. However, what I am most impressed with is their ability to give back to the community. I have seen their work at WVU Childrens Hospital, Cuts for a Cause, and their generous donations to public schools in the area. They are awesome!

Went to Zach and for a cut that was less than half an inch, long layers and some bangs cost me $60! I didnt even get that much taken off nor did I get a color. Way to much for a simple cut. Wont be going back there ever again!

I just recently had a bad experience at another salon and was very hesitant about trying another. I asked the salon I went to before Nicos for subtle blonde highlights. I ended up with bleach blonde hair. I wanted to go back to brown immediately. I went to Nicos for a consultation this past Wednesday and Ross took great care of me. She took the time to listen to my concerns and put a lot of thought in how to get me to the color I wanted. I left there on Saturday with a huge smile in my face. She got my hair to look exactly how I wanted it! I dont plan on ever going anywhere else other than Nico Spalon! Thanks again Ross!

She made me feel entirely comfortable throughout the whole appointment because shes so knowledgeable about what she does, shes friendly, and she genuinely cares about her clients happiness with her work. She went over A to Z about what I wanted and prepared me for what to expect with maintenance, short term results, and long term results. Kristin made me feel so confident about what I wanted to do with my hair and then she worked her magic and my hair has never looked this great! I love this place! Joshua McCoy (he did my extensions pictured below) and Jessica Ross both do my hair and they are both amazing. I moved to Morgantown in August and have been seeing them ever since for extensions, cuts, and colors. They both always go above and beyond to make sure I love my hair. Whenever I had an issue with my extensions (not Joshs fault in any way) he worked me into his schedule ASAP to fix it quickly. I am incredibly picky but Josh and Ross always make me love my hair (which is really hard to do) and stay patient with me, lol. Definitely recommend this place and these stylists, 10/10.

If you want a terrible haircut for a crazy price, this is your place. I decided to give this place a try due to the good reviews and since I live so far from home being a college student I needed a new hair dresser. I went here with good intentions and went out hating my hair. I was very unsatisfied as the haircut I asked for was NOTHING like what I got. The layers were NOT consistent throughout my hair and there was about an inch different throughout my hair within only the top layer (which is supposed to be the same length). Therefore I went back to get it fixed by the same stylist and she STILL didnt fix it. I called in and went back three days later to a different stylist to have it fixed AGAIN and It still WAS NOT LAYING EVENELY OR CORRECTLY, IT LOOKED TERRIBLE. I thought maybe it was just me so I drove an hour and a half back to my hair stylist to get it fixed again. When she looked at the layers she laughed because it looked like a 5 year old did it. There was chunks missing in spots and then huge long pieces in my top layer that were as long as my botttom layer(this isnt supposed to be this way). I have THICK CURLY hair and was informed that they had the best stylist for my hair. However they did not. After paying 55$ for this haircut and it being that terrible. I definitely WOULD NOT recommend going to this salon. I asked for a simple hair cut and I ended up having to go somewhere else to fix it because they have five year olds cutting hair there. SERIOUSLY DONT GO THERE.

The facilities are very nice and staff are professional and friendly. I went in for an eyebrow wax and left with butchered eyebrows. They look terrible. I do not recommend visiting Nico for a brow wax. This was my first time at Nico and I will not be returning. I spent $15 for the wax and tipped $2 (VERY overpriced for a terrible wax).

Ive been to Nico Spalon twice now and have seen Ashley Cage both times. I even had a friend see her! I have been so pleased with the work she does and walk away happier than I walked in. This last time I asked for a beautiful shade of purple and she delivered! She made sure I was comfortable and made sure my hair was taken care of and done exactly how I envisioned it. Shes super sweet and Im not surprised, her and everyone else at Nico Spalon make me feel very welcomed. I find myself lucky to have found a wonderful hairstylist who I WILL be seeing anytime I need my hair done as long as Im in Morgantown. Id recommend this place above any other place Ive been in Morgantown. Above and beyond.
