They have a varied variety of ice creams which are not available in other stores. Its not a flavor everyone may like. I tried a habenaro orange ice cream which was spicy and cold. Its was good in a weird way but may not try it again. Give it a shot

Really great ice cream! Creative flavors like bourbon & honeycomb or coconut & marionberry, as well as a really excellent chocolate. Homemade waffle cones are recommended, and the coffee is nice and strong.

An ice cream place with a philosophy about ice cream similar to Salt and Straw. Some unique and tasty flavors rotate throughout the year, which provide quite the surprise whenever we came. They do the classics exceptionally well, the waffle cones always taste fresh, and even their cookies have the same quality as the ice cream. Panhandle does what they can to source ingredients from local businesses, and again the quality overall is unrivaled in the Palouse, and at least to me, within a 3 hour radius.

Honestly, I am not exaggerating when I say that this is some of the best icecream in the state.Service is friendly and amicable. Theyve got a good crew on hand. Its always a pleasure to visit.Purchase options are plentiful, and even more plentiful are the flavor options. They include regional specialties, and seasonal flavors as well. My favorite is the peppermint fudge. Delicious! Who knew that coffee and ice cream paired so well? Honestly, Im impressed with both; I havent tried many ice cream flavors, but the ones I have had have been awesome. The coffee is of an average price for the area, and also doesnt disappoint. My only gripe is that none of the seating in the place is comfortable; you can come here for a quick assignment or two, but sitting down for any real studying immediately K.O.s your back, haha. That probably isnt the intent of the business, however, and they do have plugins, so I cant complain!

Panhandle is great for unorthodox ice cream. The only normal flavor is chocolate. The rest are completely different from anything in a grocery store. They do have a few non dairy options. They also have gluten free ice cream and cones. Their ingredients are simple and whole. You can have a treat and feel good too. The place has a great atmosphere and good service.

The coffee part gets overlooked but DANG I stopped in when there was a line elsewhere on Main: no line, the place smelled heavenly with waffle cones baking, and the pour-over I came in for turned into an Orange Askinosie Chocolate Mocha because it was on the sign so yeah. It was a wower! And they took care of my non-dairy not-too-sweet requests for an epic coffee experience.

A large variety of unique ice cream flavors. (Personal favorite is the Orange and Dark Chocolate). They also have some non-dairy and vegan options. I havent had much of there coffee, but friends have spoken well of it.Covid means that seating inside is limited, but there are tables outside too. Also note that theyre not doing tastings during covid either.

The most wonderful ice cream and ice cream shop around, hands down. The staff are all friendly and great, which just adds to the amazing flavors of ice cream they have. So many seasonal rotating flavors with local ingredients and I love that they have dairy free and vegan ice creams as well. We used to go to the WSU creamery when we had cravings but Panhandle is 100x tastier and the store is super cozy and welcoming so it’s our go-to now!

Party of 5 went there for after dinner dessert. All 5 of us LOVED what we ordered! Do yourself a favor and dont pass up this place!

This is the best ice cream in all of Moscow! They rotating flavors are great, I reccomend the CB&J, Salted Brown Butter Cookie, and the Salty Peanut Butter. From someone who always thought ice cream was just ice cream and always the same, Panhandle proved me wrong in all the right ways. There is Panhandle and then everything else, miles behind.

This place ruined me. I cant go anywhere else in town for coffee and the ice cream quality is just as high of a standard. The staff is super friendly, helped me with what I needed and were accommodating, and even taught me about the coffee and ice cream they serve!

I had an ice cream here that tasted the real ice cream after long time I hadn’t.They have homemade ice cream so good and I got waffle cone which was so good and crispy. I forgot to take pic since I was so excited to try it.They also have coffee which tonight wasn’t on my list. Maybe another time!

The ice cream is delicious here! The 2 ladies working the day that my girls and I came in were really friendly and let us try different samples so we could decide what we wanted. It was a tough choice because all the flavors we sampled were so good!

I tried the CB & J ice cream - excellent. My BF had the coffee ice cream. So good. Cool atmosphere and you can sit outside. I recommend the waffle cones!

Excellent local ice cream shop. This is no Baskin Robbins. Expect delicious and unexpected variety. The staff is very helpful and will let you sample to figure out what you want. Split scoops are a favorite, they also have a point system to encourage repeat customers.

I loved the benches with cute cushions, and the bright fun interior. The coffee was excellent. I will try the ice cream next time.

We love the location, nestled amongst other businesses in the downtown area.We saw the reviews of this place and had to try it, before we headed out of town.There were plenty of flavor options to choose from, and they are glad to let you sample any/all of them if you wish to do so.We both decided on the Lemongrass Blueberry swirl. Wow the flavors were incredible and it was surprisingly refreshing as well! Two small cups cost us about $8.We look forward to returning next time we are in town!

This place is my new favorite hangout spot! The handmade ice cream is AMAZING, the coffee is the best in Moscow, and the employees are very kind and friendly! The dairy-free flavors are awesome too and taste like regular ice cream. Yall need to check this place out!

This place has great friendly service, amazing HOMEMADE ice cream and delicious coffee. The ice cream flavors are creative and every single one of them is delicious! My favorites were the Moscow Mule and the CB &J (cookie butter and jam). Great place to bring in kids.

This is a great ice cream bar/coffe shop. The ice cream is wonderful, with vegan options available, and the coffe is average for place like this. Overall, its a great place for the whole family.

Great coffee, informative staff, expansive ice cream menu. Flavors Ive never had before, at a quality I didnt know existed--they put ferdinands to shame.Red lentil curry ice cream sounds awful, but take a sample of it, and trust me--its much better than it sounds.

All the flavors are amazing and unique, but I especially love the always changing seasonal flavors. Favorites so far include roasted apricot and goat cheese, sweet pinenut basil, and chocolate cherry habanero. Highly recommend!!!

The name Panhandle is a bit odd because we’re not in Florida, and neither ice cream nor espresso is made in a pan. But these faults are duly ignorable because their ice cream is freaking incredible.
