Ron at the Mountain View location was a pleasure to work with. He listened to what I needed and made great suggestions. From walk in to walk out, it was only 20min. Mattress and base were delivered the next day. I was able to track the delivery down to 30min intervals. So easy. I would highly recommend Mattress Firm and Ron from Mountain View!

Dee was amazing! Moving while being out of town for work and with no bed had me walking into this store all kinds of stressed out. I was met with some of the best customer service i have ever experienced. She was thorough, knowledgeable, not pushy, and most of all patient as i bounced from foundation to foundation trying to make a decision. Even let me sit on a mattress to collect my thoughts and make up my mind. I ended up buying the adjustable base i wanted, brackets, warranty (i asked, was not sneaky upsold) and my new base will be delivered AND installed in a few days, all while saving literal hundreds of dollars in discounts Dee found for me. Ive been here a few times looking for the right mattress and still havent found the mattress. I find some salespeople here knowledgeable and then get scared off by another. Mattresses can be pricey and have had a mattress in a box fail so will definitely only recommend buying from a mattress store.

The man that approached me was very unfriendly. I had to do an exchange for a mattress bought online. I knew what I wanted and it was an upgrade. He left me to lay on a couple of mattresses. At the checkout I found out that there was a 10% restocking fee, they did not refund sales tax from original purchase and there was a 95.00 charge to deliver a 5,000 dollar mattress.Very disappointed. Never heard of such charges before.

Great service provided by Dee. I called to make the store was open . It was New Year’s Day. She answered was very warm and friendly. We got there about an 1 hour later. Walked in she greeted told her I had called . She instantly remembered. Proceeded to show us mattresses for our 12 year old. She asked him the questions about what he liked and wanted. Which I really liked. We got a foam mattress, price was reasonable. She didn’t have it stock but she checked inventory at another store. They had it, we picked it up and my son has a very restful sleep. Thanks Dee.

Covid protocol was standard and good.Found a great deal on a few twins for the children, and a purple mattress for my wife and me.Going to have to wait for Delivery for a few weeks due to back order.Salesperson was not great, had a great deal of time working the computers. Also her negotiations were not logical.I would most likely attempt a different store to avoided salesperson. Other than that, mattress firm was pretty good.

Went to Mountain View store needing a new mattress. Sales person Ronald was very knowledgeable, answered all of my questions. I ended up getting a very nice tempur hybrid and even got an adjustable bed frame that I just loved. I bought this on Thursday afternoon and it was delivered Friday at 9 am. The delivery men were very professional.

Contactless delivery is free also. You do have to make an appointment but worth it since you are the only customer in there. I highly recommend!

Great service! Best pillow ever

To go in, it is by appointment only. We were greeted by Marissa. She helped us navigate through the store and was so knowledgeable about all the mattresses. She showed us the many deals in helping my daughter pick a great mattress. We walked out extremely satisfied with our purchase and the service we received.

Sales people were kind and very knowledgeable. I did feel like I was being pitched to like a traditional sales person would (showing me things I didn’t ask for and explaining why I might want them, starting by showing us the top of the line and then lower tier but not the in between tiers unless we asked about them), but I’ll admit it worked. We ended up buying an adjustable bed platform even though that’s not at all what we came in for, and a top of the line mattress that was WAY more expensive than I thought I’d buy. So, kudos to their sales person. We spent $4500. Do appreciate the 0% financing for 48 months. That said, I don’t like that tempurpedic mattresses require you to also buy a tempurpedic base in order to not void the warranty. That’s an added charge that isn’t mentioned up front that feels a bit scammy. Cleverly, tempurpedic arranged their pricing so that a regular non-adjustable base (ie, box spring) is $300 but if you upgrade to a “$850” adjustable base they’ll give you “$300 off” so really you’re “only” paying $250 more for an adjustable base. Since you already bought at $3000+ mattress, why not?! Really what they’re doing is forcing you to consider an overly-priced default base to try to push you towards spending “just a little bit” more for the adjustable base. It’s so transparent, and yet we ended up doing exactly that. I think that’s more tempurpedic than mattress firm, but nonetheless they’re the ones marketing it. Other than that the buying experience was fine. Salesperson - even though wearing a mask - stood too close to us most of the time to show they took 6 feet seriously. I was a little uncomfortable with that, but it was up to me to say something and I didn’t. Lastly, I will add that the first night we slept on the mattress with the adjustable base raised to “zero g” settings (lifted head and legs) and couldn’t stop giggling for about 10 minutes because I had never felt so comfortable in a mattress in my life. After a week or so, we are very happy we bought what we did. Hopefully come summer the tempurpedic won’t be too hot. So, salesperson did will. We bought what they were selling and so far are pretty happy (plus a $95/mo payment I wasn’t expecting to walk away with).

We bought an awesome king mattress here. What I like about this store is the fact that we could test the bed before ordering. You buy a mattress online and sure, it may have awesome ratings and free returns but it is way better to just spend 5 minutes and you know for sure.The service here was great. Complete scam!Asked for a complete purple matress and purple adjustable base. They sent their own brand base while they showed us purple base.Check every item they put there with model number, if they deliver wrong product refuse to accept, reject and send back before letting anybody bring anything inside.Better, go do your business somewhere else where they dont scam you.

I wanted a new bed for my son. Nothing fancy, just better than the twin bed he was in. Marissa was super helpful, got right down to business and we were in and out, no hassle, great price for all we received and my kid was kicking it on his new bed before dinner.

Awesome customer service, lots of great comfortable mattresses to choose from lots of new technologies to consider. Many options available such as raising the head or foot of your bed. They really take their time to work with their customers and come up with sleep solutions that work well for your comfort and budget. This is our second such purchase at this establishment!

After moving to Mountain View, I visited this store first to buy a bed. I was very impressed! The salesman, Paul, was very friendly and really knew his stuff, showing me around the various models to figure out what mattress would work best for me. The prices were okay, but since I only needed the bed to last a year (long story), I ended up buying a cheaper set at the Mattress Discounters down the street for half the price. However, if I were in the market for a nice bed that will last me a long time, then Sleep Train would be my first (and likely last) stop.

Prices are not up-front, and advertised discounts mysteriously have hidden contingencies to offset other discounts that are negotiated.My sales agent was either misinformed or deliberately deceptive when signing me up for the 0% interest payment plan. He told me it did not require a credit check (I didnt want to get any untrustworthy credit cards or other undesirable credit products). 15 minutes later, Ive been signed up for a credit card against my wishes. I was looking for a monthly payment plan, not a new credit product, and what was really happening was obfuscated with every question I asked.The mattress is fine. I do not recommend going here

Good service. We worked with Tuan Nguyen. He was prompt, listened to how we slept, and had us explore the sales floor. The one area where I felt there was room for improvement was there were times when he had so much knowledge that we didnt get a chance to compare the choices ourselves. There certainly was a push to the sale. He would interrupt with advice at times. That being said, we also needed to get in and get out. He offered us a deal with free pillows. If you need more time to consider the products, I would be firm and ask for it. Otherwise, it was a decent experience.

Bought my mattress and adjustable base from them. They told me interest free interest for the 12 month long finance through tidewater finance. They Now I am getting charged $200 in differed interest because they made my monthly payments smaller than they should have been leaving $23 on my account for the 13 month, helping Tidewqater collect on the $200 in interest. Very furious about this and will never use Mattress Firm again. What a joke.

Talk about costumer service!! Walk in the store and I was greeted right away. Rey new the product and was really knowledgeable about the mattress. Come see Rey and John and expect to leave the store very happy and feeling really comfortable with the price.

I dont usually like having salesmen talk to me while I shop, but he was unobtrusive and helpful all at once. I am very pleased with my new bed, and have slept wonderfully on it!

We live on a Military base which requires everyone to show ID when entering the base. The first delivery attempt the driver didnt have their license. No one calls, they just didnt show up. Two days later, the same thing happens again. Mattress firm called me and promised it would be resolved and delivered in two more days. Two days later the driver calls me at work saying he doesnt have his license and needs me to drive the truck on base for him. I say I am at work (My mother is at home to take delivery but cant drive a truck.) and they need to get a licensed driver and delivery the mattress. Mattress Firm calls me that night and days the driver said I refused delivery and that I wasnt available to take delivery. I tell them the driver is lying to then, but they dont want to acknowledge that. I cancelled my order and will take my business elsewhere.

The store clerk was rude when my sister showed up to pick up my order. Wont be going back or recommending your business.

Honestly this was the best mattress quality I have seen in the bay area since I moved to the united states. The service that Tuan Nguyen provided was beyond excellent and professional.I have been to so many countries yet always had pain all over neck and back for my mattress and pillow but after I started sleeping on my new mattress and pillow I assure you that my life has changed. We wanted to furnish 2 bedrooms and went to Sleep Train mountain view store to get some idea on mattress. Tuan Nyugen, the sales man we met was very good and helped us to decide what we want. He is very friendly, speaks well and answers all the questions. At last we ended up purchasing 2 mattress set. Got good president day discount, price match and free home delivery. This is a good store to find your mattresses.
