Good place to stop by in the morning. Staff is cheerful and happy it’s just what I need in the morning. And I love those strawberry overnight grains. I never had anything similar anywhere else. Definitely recommend this place. Light roast coffee is amazing too. Thanks Starbucks.

The drinks are usually served quickly most of the time and service is very good.

DO NOT ORDER CAPPUCCINO FROM STARBUCKS! When we questioned the barista about why the grande size was half empty, she insisted thats how its supposed to be. The foam subsides very quickly and you are left with 1/2 cup of very expensive coffee. We called Starbucks customer service and, thankfully, they refunded our money. BUYER BEWARE!

Love this store a lot but the past few times i’ve gone, there was a barista there who was quite rude and unfriendly, their name was dani. if you go this location me wary of this rogue barista.

I never write reviews, but my experience here was so amazing I just had to write about it. It was super busy and hectic, one of the barista’s (I caught her name tag- Emmy was her name) was absolutely amazing. My family likes a bunch of different Starbucks drinks and sandwiches and one even has a lactose and gluten intolerance so my order wasn’t exactly easy. But she made it so quickly and actually engaged in conversation with me (asked me how my day was going, what my plans were for the weekend, etc). I could tell they were understaffed and I kept apologizing because I’m sure my long and difficult order was the last thing they wanted to do (I work in customer service, I know the struggle!) but she kept reassuring me that it was perfectly fine and that she was happy to do it. Made me feel so much better! Also, without me even asking her to, she kept the gluten free and lactose free items separate from the others, telling me that she wanted to make sure there was no confusion, and then marked them with a smiley face SO CUTE!! I’ve never experienced anything like this at any other Starbucks, so I had to share it

Lazy staff. My husband and I have over 15 years collectively working for starbucks. Best company to work for. However, every once in awhile you get a lazy partner. Today, I inconvenienced them by asking to split my Frappuccino in to two cups so my sons could share. They told me “no, we can’t do that we will give you a cup and you can do it yourself” when I told them I work for starbucks, they changed their tune. How shameful to treat your customers like that.

I went to Starbucks Tuesday with a friend and I tried the nitro cold brew. I really liked it. It wasnt too strong didnt have a bitter or bad aftertaste. I had it with the sweet cream. I will definitely have this again. The staff was really nice and genuine. The perfect spot for a relaxing cup of coffee.

I always buy at Starbucks but what sets this branch apart is their outstanding customer service. Staff are polite, cheerful and accommodating. Even the simple act of offering tissue/napkins without asking them is a major plus for me because in all of the other branches weve tried, they never give out napkins unless you specifically ask for them.

The staff is always pleasant and on top of EVERY order, Pick up or Drive Thru. Ive never had any error. My new one stop for coffee

The food is fresh and the staff friendly. Its in Mundelein, close to popular tourist areas. We found it while walking around the squares.The menu includes an assortment of egg dishes, including several quiches, and soups, sandwiches and wraps. They have homemade pastries and desserts, coffee and soft drinks. Lots of vegetarian options.It is a welcome place to stop while touring the city.

The drive thru line is dauntingly long but my chai tea latte is worth the wait! Plus the staff is very efficient and keeps the line moving!

Best Starbucks I’ve ever been to. They are always fast and efficient. And Mitch always gets all of the drink right. I love getting Starbucks double shot espresso over ice or flat white on my way to work, when Mitch makes them they are always perfect and delicious. They are good at moving the line fast. Even if it’s up to the street I know I won’t be late to work and get my drink done right, which can’t be said about many other Starbucks shops around. Keep up the good work ☕️

Google site says it opens at 5:30 am however, they don’t open until 6, I waited in the drive-through with a car behind me, I went through the window still no attention and then drove around again and I stayed at the window and she held her fingers up showing me a six and I said but your website says 530 ; it’s 5:49 AM she said call the manager. so I drove to McDonald’s for $3 delicious caramel latte

I loved my Experience at this Starbucks! Often Starbucks baristas have trouble getting my usual order correct, but but the barista Mathew always gets my order right, every time! I will chose this Starbucks over others that might be closer just because I know my order will be right. This is the best location for miles. 5/5!

Today I went to Starbucks and there was a huge line but that didn’t bother me. I asked for caramel Frappuccino WITHOUT coffee. When they were giving it to me it looked really dark so I asked the guy is it with coffee? And he said no. Then after he gave it to us when I tried there was coffee in it and I was so mad because I even asked the guy if there is coffee in it. The bad thing is I couldn’t ask for them yo exchange it bc the line was too big. I realized it happens all the tine, the last time we went to Starbucks they gave a me a wrong drink again. It happens all the time

Batista Kate working Wednesday morning was wonderfully patient and helpful. I dont come to Starbucks a lot, so I was confused by the menu, but she explained what the products were and help me order what I actually wanted. And this was in the middle of a drive-through rush! Wonderfully helpful.

Went in today to see if they still had the tie dye Frappuccino. The young man working the cash register was extremely rude. I have never had this experience at Starbucks. I shop here everyday! I will not come back to this location.

I had a wonderful experience! The barista was super friendly and attentive. My drink came out perfectly!

Wasnt sure what I wanted, barista asked my preferences and I was set from there. Drink was perfect and I loved it. Rarely get coffee flavored drinks due to bitterness, so this was the right amount of sweet and not one bitter taste.

Excellent personalities rule this Starbucks. The baristas are always grinning ear to ear and are very detail oriented. This Starbucks definitely has one of the best moods and staff, totally a energy refill type of joint - they get the Starbucks mission and values 100%. Keep up the great work !

Im not a tremendous fan of Starbucks because I tend to prefer the coffee I make at home - which is kind of a bummer because I used to consider Starbucks a real treat. I went today because someone recommended the pumpkin cream cold brew and I wanted to try it. The line at the drive thru was pretty short, but it tooke forever to get through. When it was finally my turn at the window I waited so long for my one coffee that I put my car in park like when youre3at the railroad crossi g waiting for a really slow freight train.The coffee itself was weak and the pumpkin cream was pretty bland. Definitely not worth the wait or the $5.

Great coffee as always. The one knock on this location is the parking. The drive through line often blocks the parking lot. I generally park in the abandoned Best Buy. The parking lot wants the terrorists to win

Never have I EVER had a problem at this Starbucks until now! I came threw the drive thru got my usual drink a “Trenta Strawberry refresher with No Scoop of Strawberries” the drink is made with (water ice and refresher mixture from a box) simple right ? Employee ARY took my order I paid and she tries to hand me a drink of which is not what I ordered and didn’t match the sticker she was handing me and when she reached towards me I said can I have the drink I ordered please she then looks at me like I’m crazy (a normal employee would check the sticker and drink) she then reads my order from the screen and says yeah this is your drink I then say again no it’s not could I please have what I ordered and she verbally not only attacks me but goes to tell me I don’t need to tell her that’s not my drink blah blah blah! I then asked for a manger she kept talking to say I have no right to make sure my SIMPLE $5.29 drink is right . I then speak to Chris so was very kind and nice and seemed like this wasn’t the first time he’s had a issue with her but then “allegedly” remakes the drink and refunds the money and says he’s sorry but I look at the drink as I’m leaving same cup stick and still strawberries but now just the bottom is full of seeds as they drained or scooped the big ones out all rather then making the drink over so I pull around park and walk in where I ask Chris if he can remake my drink now a 3rd time since ARY is unable to put a box mix water ice and shake shake a drink correctly....... truly insane I was verbally attacked by ARY cause I asked simple for the correct drink i purchased even saying please ....

This Starbucks is fabulous. They are always so nice and not rushed at the drive thru. I ordered an iced coffee and did not like it. They offered to makr me a new one and when I offered to get out of the line and come and get it, he said no just wait.I think Starbucks has one of the best customer service philosophies out there and not just because of this one experience.The lattes and specialty drinks cost alot, but they pay their employees a decent wage, give health insurance, and train their employees to treat people right.

Ivanhoe Starbucks near Mundelein, Illinois is one the better for customer service in the area, the other being Hainesville. Otherwise average Starbucks with average service - most Starbucks staff are getting more unfriendly as time goes on - wonder what is changing in the company that is causing this chilly atmosphere?
