BOTTOM LINE: THEY LIED ABOUT THE CARS HISTORY AND VALUE, CONCEALING A PAST ACCIDENT AND REPAIR DAMAGE.So I really wanted to leave a 5 star review, but unfortunately I was misled in a severe and dishonest way. I was sad to discover this because I really liked the main guy who I dealt with. I found him charismatic, friendly, and I admit I trusted him a little to easily.I bought a 2015 Azera at great expense, financed at an extreme rate (all of this was expected, and while tricky to manage, I was expecting this. Its the nature of the beast, and of course the seller and the bank they use need to make a healthy profit. All of that is understandable.*HOWEVER* I was told and reassured many times as I considered whether or not to buy the car, that the dealer is extremely picky about what vehicles they will even sell. This included specifically clean title, no past accidents, only certain brands, only certain number of miles, only certain years, and the car has to be clean and well taken care of). This emphasis on the dealers allegedly very select and carefully discriminating process of getting the vehicles was told to me over and over to reassure me that the vehicle was all of those things, or they wouldnt sell it. I was implored to trust them about this, so I did.Unfortunately this was all a lie. As two other car dealers, including car fax, were able to show me car history of a past accident that was covered up, they showed me the welding and other fixes, and were able to even say when the past accident had occurred. And showed me how it was covered up. The result is that the car has a value of $5000 instead of $18000, and I didnt believe them at first, but having seen the sneaky fixes, looked at the dealer reports, and going to three different dealers (and car fax) which all independently confirmed these issues, I am left with the inescapable conclusion that I was lied to, taken advantage of, and sold a car that had past accident and damage (sneakily hidden) and the result was I am now totally screwed.So buyer beware. These guys are not above selling you a known lemon and lying to you (or misleading you on purpose) as to the cars history, condition, and value.If my experience being defrauded in this manner can be of any value to you, so you will not repeat my terrible experience of being so tricked and lied to, then maybe at least some good can come of it.Honestly I dont know how the financier was convinced to accept the risk for the loan of the car, now that I know the true value of the collateral was way less than represented, and I suspect the financier (Avid Acceptance) was similar misled, and so I may look into that and see if they know that the car has had its history and condition and value so badly misrepresented. If so, then this is fraud.I am very disappointed because I really liked the guy I worked with and I found myself believing him, he seemed so candid and cool. But I regret having been so naive. I urge you to look elsewhere. These people have shown a willingness to be dishonest for a buck and maybe that shouldnt surprise me, but I think its really sad. And for my part, I am now totally screwed because of this.So avoid my mistake, and go somewhere else.

My car is finally paid off and I don’t have to deal with this company ever again and couldn’t be more relieved!!! Buying the car I had no idea what I was doing, I was just coming out of bankruptcy from identity theft and needed something reliable to drive. The buying process was pretty easy I’ll give them that, and my car was detailed and looked nice picking up. However, the finance company Kaizen Financial that they go through is literally the WORST!!!! They only had ONE person working and she never answered the phone or responded to messages. I would have to call 10+ times and was lucky if I got in touch with someone to make my CAR PAYMENT! They also not ONCE reported my history of payments to the Bureaus. So the one thing I was trying to get to help me build my credit after bankruptcy and identity theft didn’t do me one bit of good. This is the worst company, finance company, etc I have ever had to deal with. A finance company should have more than one person working and they should answer the phone when someone calls or at least call back!!! I am so happy I never have to deal with you guys again!!

Originally had a 5 star review. Justin and Ben were great, but to come find out a whole year later, and with a payment of $455 a month, that only $1,000 of principal has been paid.... thats pretty insane. Ill have this car for another 17 years. Ridiculous.

These guys are awesome. They dont tell you what you qualify for in a vehicle. They say go pick out a car for yourself. Great people to talk with and very polite. They really know theyre stuff.

My husband and I went there after our bankruptcy because our cars were upside down deals. They helped us and went above and beyond. Its very welcoming and you are really talking one on one with the top people unlike when you go to any other dealership and deal with a sales man who has been on the floor for a week. They know what they are doing and have worked both sides. Highly recommend new start auto.

I went to see them because of a flier I got after my bankruptcy. They were not pushy, and didnt try to use my bankruptcy to guilt me into a car payment I couldnt afford like other dealerships I had been to. They were willing to work with me, and took the time needed to make sure I got into the right car and that my payments would be affordable to me. These guys are the opposite of what you expect from a car dealership in how they treat their customers. They didnt play any of the games that other dealerships played either. If I could give negative stars I would. This place is an absolute joke. We waited for 3 days to hear back about approval and when my husband called to find out what was going on, Cory straight up told us to buy a car somewhere else after HE got upset at us for asking for details about the loan. Cory was constantly annoyed when we would call to ask for updates and was absolutely rude over the phone. No one was ever helpful, they wouldnt return calls, and never had any answers. A car is not worth the hoops they were trying to make us jump theoigh.

Cory was good to work with. I felt I got a good deal for the situation Im in. Im happy with the quality of the vehicle.

Jess is Absolutely amazing to work with. She helped get the car I wanted and did everything in the world to help me get to where I needed to buy it. If you are in one of those not so great positions in life I definitely recommend new start auto and work with Jess!!!!!!!

Service was fine, quick and easy to get into a car. But they BURIED me in a vehicle that I can’t get out of. I came to them for help after going through a bankruptcy. They sold me a car that’s only worth $7-8k but financed $16k. I was told oh it shouldn’t be a problem to refinance after a year of on time payments. Well I can’t trade the vehicle in because of the negative equity, no banks or credit unions will touch a refi...so after all is said and done I’m going to pay $30k for a car that’s worth nothing. How is this helping people? They care much more about making money than actually helping people. Dumping $9-10k of negative equity on someone just out of a bankruptcy is unethical.
