Reasonably priced violins (3/4 and full). They also added fine tuners to the 3/4 which we have for our 10 yld. They were acquainted with John Chatelain (my former violin teacher) and Barbara Scowcroft (conductor of Utah Youth Symphony, when I attended in the late 90s).

I have been searching for the right words to thank Adam Day for the way he transformed my violin. I had been feeling discouraged by the way my violin was sounding and was under the impression that the only way to improve my situation would be to buy a new violin. I went to Adam for help, asking for a sound upgrade and anything else he thought might improve my tone. I am still in shock at the transformation that occurred under Adams care and skill. When I played on my violin after Adam worked on it, I realized I had been delinquent with maintenance and that my violin is a living thing that needs regular tender, loving care. I am so happy with how my violin sounds now, I am no longer making plans to replace it. I am able to use my own violin for recording and performance projects and am happy with the results. I went into Adam Day violins to get new strings put on my violin. I purchased a violin off of Amazon to learn and get an idea if I would like to continue with this new violin adventure. I am aware that an Amazon purchased violin is going to be less quality than one of his violins, but I am not ready for the commitment of a $500 violin if I am still deciding if it is something I want to pursue.Adam Day restrung the violin and then proceeded for the next 15 minutes to tell me everything that was wrong, “terrible” and “good luck” with my violin. All of the information was helpful, but the way he was conveying it came across as rude and honestly belittling.I was glad to get out of the store after experiencing so much criticism. I would have had a completely different experience if he would have conveyed the information with more kindness and encouragement for a beginner, letting me know he would be there to upgrade once I was ready to commit.I am disappointed with my experience. Ive owned my viola for over 10 years. Ive taken it to luthiers in multiple states and have never had it really fully reach its sound potential until I took it to Adam. This is by far the best, clearest, and most resonant my instrument has ever sounded. I have always enjoyed going here ever since my father took me. When I could drive, this was practically my second home. With the new addition of stringed instruments by Adam Day, it really makes this place pop. Adam and his team did a repair on my cello last week and I could not be more pleased. I came to them because my bridge was warped, my strings were old and my sound post had come out of place. Adam talked me through the repairs, pointing out where he could save me money and helped cut my costs. He was very honest and considerate. I just picked up the instrument a few days ago was floored. In the shop it sounded amazing but as each day goes by and I play, it sounds better and better. I can hardly believe it is the same instrument I had before. We had the privilege of having Angela help us select and purchase an intermediate viola for our growing son. She was experienced and knowledgeable with the instrument and took time to help us understand the differences between our options. We never felt rushed or pressured throughout the process. The instrument quality is great as well. The tone of the viola we bought is better than some at twice the price point we played in other stores. We feel that we got a great deal on an instrument that our son could play for a lifetime.

Im glad that I found Adam Day Violins! I have had my violin for about 15 years and have loved it. But when I saw that they can do a sound upgrade and a check to find the best strings for your instrument, I decided to take them up on it. I was amazed at how much Adam was able to open up the sound in my violin. With a new bridge and sound post adjustment, my violin played better than it ever has. I was able to play songs high on the g-string without a muffled sound. Since then, I have gotten a cello and viola and they are great instruments and fun to play. With the new workshop right there in the store, I am able to stop by to ask questions, or get a quick sound check and adjustment. He also has a great staff that knows string instruments and can give advice and just share excitement for good music. I own a beautiful violin handmade by a luthier of note, years and years ago. I didnt think the sound could improve more, as it is an instrument of notable quality and value. However, after hearing about Adam Days reputation for sound improvement, I decided to bring my violin to him for his professional sound upgrade. I must say, he has done incredible things with my instrument. My violin is more clear, and has an even more rich, powerful voice. What I love, and why I will continue to recommend Adam Day, is that he did my sound upgrade a few years ago, and the sound improvement has continued to this day. I couldnt be more happy with the service that we received at Day Violins. Because we live 5 hours away from Salt Lake City, I loved that Adam was willing to speak to me personally on the phone to speak about our goals and get a feel for what price range we should be looking at. We were able to make an appointment with Adam, which was nice since we had to travel so far. After some time talking to Adam we decided to have Day Violins make some changes and tweaks to the instrument to improve the sound quality: they changed the bridge and the bridge location, the size of the sound post, and did a string analysis and chose the best strings. The difference is amazing !!! The violin is easily 3 - 4 x louder, much more crisp, and precise sounding. Adam gave my viola a sound upgrade and I just picked it up today. He is very personable and friendly. He fit me into his busy schedule so that I could get the much needed adjustments before a quickly approaching gig. We have been getting violins from Day Violins since my daughter was 4 or 5 years old. She is almost 12 and we still love to go to Adam.He always has a good selection of instruments in each size and he and his staff are always so helpful with whatever repairs or adjustments we need. I currently have 28 violin students, and 23 of them (plus my own phenomenal violin) have instruments from Day Violins. It is such a relief being able to send students to Adams shop, and not having to worry About the quality and tone of the violins that come back. I have yet to hear a violin from Day Violins that I have not loved the playability and tone. Perhaps the most telling trend I have noticed is that as a violin teacher, I have had much higher student retention since I started referring students to your shop as well. We have purchased several violins and a cello from Day violins and have found the instruments to have a beautiful sound. Their sound encourages practicing, which is great to make sure money spent on lessons is worth it. Their trade-in policy is great, we have loved moving up in the class of violin (ie 300 to 400 to 500) each time we trade in. Their prices are great for the excellent quality. We LOVE going in for a sound adjustment, each time is a big boost to sound. The people who work there are very talented (we love hearing them play!) and knowledgeable about the instruments, and always take the time to get us exactly what we need.

Wow, such amazing work on my instrument. My viola was purchased (not from Adam) about 8 years ago and I thought it had a very good sound at the time. Lately it had not been giving me the power and tone that I need, so I took it to Adam Day. He told me that it had great potential with a new bridge, sound post, and strings... and he was right! The new bridge was bigger than the old one, allowing the bass notes to come out more clear and powerful. The sound post was fitted perfectly. He also did his famous string analysis do determine which strings went best with my instrument. The first time I played my new viola I almost cried. It had never sounded this good, it felt like it was brand new viola. It finally sounds like what I paid for it and more! I couldnt be happier with the service I got. I think Day Violins has emerged as one of the leading shops for professional and student violinists in the state. I first had my own violin worked on at Day violins about 8 years ago. After being unsatisfied with the adjustments of another well respected violin maker, Adam placed a new bridge on my violin and completely overhauled my setup. My violin sounded so much deeper and richer than it had ever sounded before! I have also found that the violins he sells are the highest quality and best sounding for the money I have seen anywhere. One rare trait I have observed about the shop is total integrity. Adam has always been completely up front and honest with me in my dealings with him. I love how he recommended once that a student should buy a violin from a competitor because he felt that the competitors violin was a better fit! This is the place to go. I have always had first rate experiences at Day Violins during the past 8 years or so that I have been going there. Love the new remodel, by the way!

My mother referred me to Day Violins when my violin needed a tonal adjustment. When Adam looked at it, he didnt make any adjustments to my violin. As I have interacted with Adam Day over the years, I have found his level of excellence unsurpassed in his field. As an intermediate violinist I do not feel that I can determine the value of a violin, or make the proper choice of the correct bow to go with it. Adam Day was recommended by the lady that was my teacher at the time. She is one of the finest teachers in Southern Utah and has had several students purchase instruments from Adam Day. I needed an honest Luthier, to work with. It really helps that Adam is a very good violinist and he is very honest. He is also very easy to work with. I purchased a place holder violin from Adam to use until my name became number one on the list for one of his hand made instruments. The sound and tone was excellent. When I finally was number one, I was really excited. When I got it, I was overjoyed. It is not only a really magnificent violin, but it is also very beautiful. The tone is great. My new teacher is a very good performer and he was very happy when he played it. He felt that I had a wonderful violin. I would recommend any one at any level or age to put their faith in Adam Day. My experience at Day Violins could not have been better. I needed a new bow, and the employee suggested I bring my violin in so he could test the bows on my violin for the best sound. He tried 12 different bows, tuned my violin, fixed the bridge and the pegs, and was conversing with me the whole time. I am so thankful for him putting in all of that work, I wish he took tips!

The instruments at Day Violins are absolutely amazing. They are beautifully crafted with care. The sounds they produce are warm and beautiful. If you were to buy the cheapest instrument from this shop it would sound better than any instrument that you would pay 3 times the money for. I highly recommend Day Violins over any other instrument shop in the SLC valley.

Adam is extremely knowledgeable, personable, and his instruments are fine quality at a fair price. As a professional musician and teacher, I highly recommend Adam Day Violins for both purchase and repairs. He works efficiently to take care of all my instrument needs and gives fantastic suggestions for improvement of sound. Adams staff are also extremely helpful and friendly, so theres never a bad time to stop in and shop for fine string instruments and accessories.

Adam met with us because we had a strange buzzing in my daughters violin. He brought us back into his shop and spent a great amount of time diagnosing the issue. It was bad news. The violin had an issue that would be very expensive to fix. Even though it was bad news, Adam took the time to tell us what our options were and what was wrong with the instrument so we fully understood the issue. He was so professional and understanding that we bought a new violin from him that day, and we know we will be taken care of at Day Violins. Very impressed and grateful to have found them.

Although I am a private violin instructor in the Southern Utah area, I recommend that my students get their instruments from Adam Day, whose shop is located 4-5 hours north of most of my students. Most (if not all) of my students have a violin from Day Violins. There is a reason for this; throughout my 25 years of playing and 13 years of teaching, I have learned to recognize the necessity for a quality instrument in order to realize superior potential. I gave Adam a violin to repair that had multiple issues to contend with. It turned out to be quite a project violin, but the end result was a world class tone that would cost at least ten times what I invested in the repairs. I couldnt be more pleased.

We travel from Berkeley, CA to Adams shop in UT for all our violin and viola needs; his service is unmatched by any of the shops we have visited, even our fine shops in the San Francisco Bay area. But this review pertains to our newest purchase: two months ago, we bought a lovely little viola from Adam. We were looking specifically for an instrument to fit our violinist daughter, who needed to go back and forth between instruments. Well, we spent less than wed budgeted for an instrument that was far better than wed hoped--the faculty in our daughters chamber music program specifically asked what she was playing and where wed gotten it. And we know that, since we bought from Day Violins, that Adams expertise--along with that of his staff, especially his fine bowmaker, Michael, that the instrument will sound wonderful for many years to come.

I have the dubious honor of being, perhaps, the world’s zaniest cello collector. I now have 28 cellos to date…at least since this morning! :-) I have played every kind of cello imaginable. While I wouldn’t call myself an “expert,” I can at least say that experience has been a great teacher. One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is that the cello is nearly human. :-) Just like with us, the slightest influences can affect it: How much its played, how its played, the material and condition of its strings, if its components are in alignment, if its been lovingly cared for, if it gets jostled around in transit, what climate its been in, or if its simply under the weather. Just as we consult experts regarding our health as human beings, so should we consult an expert when it comes to the health of our instruments. I consider Adam Day to be the finest stringed-instrument expert I have ever consulted. His prodigious intuition is matched by his innovation. His egoless approach to the craft has allowed him to open his mind to the potential each instrument has to fulfill the measure of its creation. I wholly, happily, and unreservedly recommend his instrument making and maintaining expertise!

We had heard of Day Violin’s great reputation of great quality & sounding violins. When we went in to choose a violin, Adam asked us our price range, and was very respectful of that, & did not try to “upsale us” in fact it was not salesy at all. Just a professional helping my daughter find the best sound fit for her. He pulled out about 6 violins in our price range. All of them sounded amazingly good. We really could have just randomly chosen one & been happy with it. Adam took the time to play each one of them for her to hear. Then he was respectful of her thoughts & opinions & also shared his experienced thoughts & opinions. She then played them. Even though it took my daughter a while to decide on “just the right one”, he was never impatient & never made us feel rushed. I have complete confidence & trust in Adam & what he recommends. This is our 1st violin purchase with Adam, and it was an absolutely amazing experience working with him. We did not receive this much help & knowledge with our other 2 violin purchases elsewhere. Adam is great luthier quickly identifying that my sons cello needed to have the bridge put back in position and recognizing that the sound post was not allowing the instrument to produce its best sound. Additionally he fixed a small crack that you cant even tell was ever there now. He was quick and meticulous with the work. For great work at a more than reasonable price I would recommend anyone needing work to go to him.

Weve been loyal Day Violins customers for years. Of course, weve been bothered throughout the years by how little weve gotten on trade-in and some high-pressure sales, but because wed been told by several people we respect that Day Violins is THE best,we just assumed that what we experienced at Day Violins was normal. We have watched with dismay as prices have gone up and offers of trade-in value have gone down. However, my daughter is with a new teacher (a university professor) and needed a new, upgraded violin. Upon his recommendation, we shopped around this time. Not only did Day Violins offer the least (by far!) on our trade-in (and it was a Day Violin), they also couldnt even come close to the quality and tone of all of the other shops we visited (and we visited 5 other shops in our search). We would have had to pay $1000-2000 more for a violin of similar quality and tone at Day Violins. So while I see some value at Day Violins in the number of fractional sizes they offer (including cellos, which can be difficult to find), and in the nice selection of accessories (shoulder rests, cello stands, mutes, etc), I would always recommend that anyone shop around before believing the hype that Day Violins is the best. They will tell you that the reason they offer so little in trade-in is because they want every instrument to be in new condition before being sold again. But any true musician knows that the appearance of the instrument is the least important thing about it when it comes to strings. In fact, many musicians prefer a violin that doesnt appear brand-new. Yes, it is important that any large or deep marks in the varnish be repaired for the affect that they could have on sound. And yes, there is some value in that all of Day Violins instruments of each level are almost exactly alike -- at least you always know what youre getting. But that honestly just added to the factory-made, brand-new, bright and tinny sound that every one of these violins had even in the $3000 price range.Finally, I have a beloved violin that Ive owned for 20 years. After about 15 years, it had a seam open several months after a move to a starkly dry desert climate. I took it to Adam Day, having been told that he was an expert luthier who could bring my instrument back to life. Instead, after several hundred dollars, I got a call in which I was told that the instrument was essentially a piece of junk and that Id be better off just buying a new one from Day Violins. When I said I still wanted it fixed, I got an instrument back with a strangely filled seam. Ill eventually take it to another luthier to repair in hopes that it will return to the lovely, mellow sound that I remember. But in the meantime, I have since found that it still (even with the repaired seam) beats the Day Violins in the $3000 range.

Day Violins to me is clearly the place to Go for all violin, viola, and cello needs. I have shopped around many a time for bows, instruments and different things and I have always been able to get what I need at a great price at Day Violins. The atmosphere is very professional, but it is also incredibly inviting, and all of the workers are very knowledgable and extremely friendly. There is no pushiness, and despite it being busy, they always try to let you know that they know you are there.From what I have seen, the instruments there are heads and tails above the competition. Their student models are priced incredibly for the sound they produce. I have found that the instruments there often sound better and play nicer than instruments priced a thousand dollars or even more. Some even are worth double than what they are priced at, but as always they keep them well priced, and in perfect tonal playing condition.The bows as well have proven to be great. I once purchased a 1,500$ bow from elsewhere and when I went to Day Violins, the 550$ Bows were of equally if not greater quality. Not only that, but they know what strings will work best, and the workers will work with you to get that perfect sounding set, they also clearly know how to set up and instrument. I once sent an instrument into the shop that was purchased at about 600 dollars, but after they had looked at it in the shop and fixed it up, it sounded at least 50 percent better than it did before. It was like I had been given a better violin! I have taken it elsewhere before but was told that the post and setup was fine, but they gasped when they saw it, and told me what needed to be fixed. Sure enough once it was fixed it was so amazing!They also freely check and maintain your instruments every so often. So if something sounds strange they are always more than happy to help you out, and always fix it.I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to go! You will not be happier anywhere else.

We have been very pleased, grateful & loyal customers of Adam Day Violins for the past 9 of our 20 years of buying stringed instruments. Our only regret is that we didn’t know about Adam’s instruments sooner. I have found his level of excellence unsurpassed in his field. He is a very skilled & knowledgeable luthier, paying much detail in providing quality sound through his own carved bridges and sound posts. He also takes extreme care choosing unique string combinations of various brands to achieve the highest quality sound possible.We have purchased a violin, viola and a cello over the past 9 years at Day Violins and have upsized and upgraded on all three as our daughters have grown physically and musically. Our cellist recently needed an upgraded instrument and we were advised by her orchestra teacher to compare other string shops in SLC. We took my daughter’s top choice cello from Day Violins and her top choice from the other well know shop to her teacher and Adam Day’s cello was, by far, the better sounding cello, with the added bonus that it was several thousand dollars less. His regular sound check service and adjustment is an added bonus. We’ve also appreciated Adam Day’s honesty and integrity. When my daughter was in need of an upgraded bow, she tried several bows in different price ranges. I appreciated Adam’s honest opinion that a bow a few hundred dollars cheaper actually was a better sound and fit for my daughter than the more expensive one. My daughters are frequently complimented for their full, rich, warm tone by their teachers, festival judges, and most recently, by college professors, as my daughter auditioned for several college music scholarships. (Side note...she was offered several full tuition music scholarships). Adam’s quality instruments have been an important key to both of my daughters’ musical success. Adam’s unique blend of skills, knowledge, his great passion for what he does and his integrity, is truly a winning combination for his customers.

Adam is very nice and helpful! I will be buying all my violin accessories from him. I previously went to a dishonest violin shop who told me there was something wrong with the frets. They wanted to charge me over $30 to fix the problem. Good thing I didnt trust them and went to Adam. Adam helped me tune the instrument for free and explained that I needed to push the frets in for the notes to hold. Very honest guy and good to do business with. I will buy all my accessories from him from now on!

***Update: Sadly, I am taking my review down another star. I am still (mostly) pleased with the now two instruments we have purchased from this shop. The second instrument is not quite as fantastic as the first one, but it is still a quality student instrument. However, I found the trade in process to be misleading and much more costly than what was initially explained. So much so, that I feel it is a rather shifty business tactic. (To be clear, this was for a trade-in that the employee said himself was one of the cleanest, best cared for instruments he had seen come back. These were not costs due to damage or poor repair.) Additionally, I believe some things that have been suggested during “sound checks” to be up-selling rather than true need. When I go in, I generally don’t indicate that I play myself. I don’t lie, but I don’t volunteeer much either. In doing so, my observation is that if a parent comes in to this shop truly not knowing the instrument, they may wind up paying for unnecessary repairs or upgrading to larger instruments too early. A repair was suggested that in my opinion is not necessary. I plan to take the violin to another shop and see if they share the opinion. It was also suggested that my child needs a larger instrument, when it is very clear that his current instrument is exactly the correct size. Good rule at any violin shop: If you don’t know string instruments, take someone with you who does.***I purchased my child’s first violin here a few months ago and have been very pleased with our purchase. I play violin myself and have an understanding of the instrument. I knew going in that a tiny fractional size violin was just not going to sound all that great. You can’t fight physics, after all. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the instruments we tried in Adam Day’s shop. I have purposely waited a few months to post a review, in case any nasty surprises popped up. No need. The violin we picked has continued to please. It sounds startlingly nice despite its petite size. I think Adam and his staff are genuinely trying to bring the best quality they can to family budgets. The effort is appreciated.I have deducted one star only because my child’s first experience in the shop a few months earlier was a bit negative. I frequent Day Murray for sheet music. One day after my child started showing interest in violin, I thought I would show him around the violin shop since I was there anyway. When I reached for a violin. The woman at the desk scurried out and was quite gruff and protective of the instruments. Enough so that my child’s attitude flipped immediately from excited and eager to sad and withdrawn. I really do get it, I am certain they get plenty of clueless parents letting their children run amok around the store and the staff definitely need to protect the instruments. But my child was not misbehaving or touching anything. He was just standing there. As an adult I did not appreciate the assumption that I was going to destroy something, especially in a manner that my child could pick up on so easily. She demolished what could have been a lovely first moment. I would have liked to see a little more delicacy in how she handled it. There was in this particular case, no cause for alarm and I very nearly did not return when I was ready to buy. I came back only on recommendation of a couple teachers.I am glad I did. I have not seen that particular person there again. Adam and the other two clerks I have met have been very satisfactory. One gentleman who helped us was much more graceful, asking me if I played and asking my child kindly if he took lessons yet and explaining that only children who are in lessons can touch the instruments. This met with a much better result. The day we came to actually purchase something, Adam himself was there and was very helpful, patient, and accommodating as was the (different) woman who was working that day. Overall, I have been very satisfied so far with Adam Day’s student violins and his shop. Definitely reccommend for quality student instruments.

Day Violins is awesome!Ive never been there before, but I discovered them by word of mouth. Adam Day and the other staff there were extremely helpful, personable, knowledgeable and provided me with excellent customer service. I went in looking for replacement violin strings, and through their analysis program, I left with a set of strings customized to my violin. Im very excited for how my violin sounds now. Their analysis service has saved me tons of $$$ and time in experimenting with strings on my own.The analysis service costs $40. However, Adam waived that fee and I received it for free because the first customized set of strings he put on my violin was a hole in one! Since he didnt have to spend too much time in analyzing my instrument, he did it for free, which showed me that he wanted to give me the best service possible as quickly as possible. He wasnt stringing me along just to make some money. I left with an Evah Pirazzi G and D, a Dominant A and a Pirastro Gold E. Excellent!As an adult violin student of a few years, I left with not only an improved violin but with more knowledge and tips on how to keep my violin sounding great! Ill definitely give them my business in the future, and I plan on giving them my business when my son starts violin next year.And to just add, Adam looked at my violin, and through small adjustments to the bridge and sound post, he improved the tone of my violin immensely. I was very impressed. Day Violins has my full confidence, and I will frequent this shop for years to come.

We live the the San Francisco Bay area, and we have many fine, well-respected violin shops nearby. Yet, our family of three, soon-to-be four string players have now purchased all of our instruments from Adam Day. Our violin friends have heard the results and are now also making the trip to Utah and buy their instruments from Mr. Day. Our teacher heard the results and now gets his viola repaired by Adam. There is a reason! And its not just that he is a nice guy.Adam Day is a perfectionist who cares deeply about the sound of all his instruments in his shop. I have heard his own handcrafted professional violins, and they are wonderful, but we havent bought one of those. Yet.Instead I will comment about the student violins he sells, the Kreuzer and Sacchini models that range from beginner to advanced. Adam sets up each instrument, and picks the right strings for each instrument. He just doesnt put on the cheapest set of strings. He decides which brand of string for each string: One brand for the G String, another for the D string, and yet another for the A string, and yet another for the E string. He takes great care in carving his own bridges and soundposts. Because of the care that Adam takes in preparing these student violins, you get beautiful sounding instruments for an excellent price.We find that his violins and violas beat any comparably priced competition, both in Utah and in the SF Bay Area. You just have to hear them to them side-by-side, and there is no question that Adam Days violins are better.Finally, he is also excellent at repairing and making older instruments sound much better too.Advice: take advantage of his sound checks. Also, consider moving up to a better bow once you reach the intermediate level.

I have had such an incredible experience with Day Violins! Im about to enter my third year of college as a violin performance major. Throughout my entire sophomore year, my violin teacher would repeatedly tell me (especially after a good performance) that I needed to upgrade my instrument. So, upon his suggestion, I went to Day Violins to look at their instruments. Every time Ive gone into Day Violins Ive always been impressed with the service. Everyone is SO friendly and honest. I never feel pressured to buy anything and yet they are extremely effective in helping me find what I need. Such was the case when I went in to find a new violin. I tried several different instruments and still wasnt completely convinced that I would find what I was looking for. I took one home, but decided that I would keep looking. When I went to take the violin back, however, they sent me home with another violin that they thought I would like.The ZHU violin. I tried it out and instantly fell in love. For the price, the violin was unbelievable! I would definitely say that Day Violins provides the best quality for the price. I used the Zhu violin for my end recital and for my juries. I have never gotten so many comments and compliments about how wonderful my tone is. I know that this is due entirely to my new violin.Ive also been satisfied with Day Violins other services. I brought in my bow one time as it desperately needed to be rehaired. I needed the rehair done within a day, however, since I had a performance that required a lot of technical bow work (that I had been practicing on that bow) three days from then. Adam was so obliging and told me that the rehair could be done the next day and that I could pick it up at noon at his shop in Lehi. When I picked up my bow the next day, I was very satisfied. The rehair was well done and, I felt, reasonable priced.So, in short, I would recommend Day Violins to anyone. They sell killer instruments and provide excellent service. They are very knowledgeable and serviceable. I also feel that honestly is a big part of their establishment--which is a big deal in this kind of business.

The pride and love and passion is in every one of the violins that he creates. The instruments made by Adam Day are not just for today,this semester, or this year. But are made to resenate the soul of the musician for a millennia.Adam Day the Man is professional, courteous, and accomodating even with the never ending questions from my 5 year old beginner. He spent 20 min one on one explaining every step of how her violin was built and did it with a smile.I would reccomend Adam Day Violins to anyone who loves the strings and wants not only to play music but to proclaim it.
