Sadly this evening 03~27~2021 this dollar general store at laketon/Smith,burned up a roaring rage of thick toxic black smoke then the fire took a deep breath of fresh air and blew seventy plus ft.Flames up through the black sky. Praying for all!

Definitely going to be temporarily closed there until a new building is constructed. There was a fire this evening there, and it is a total loss. 😭

One of the better ones Ive been into. But they need more cashiers.

Its a good place to get something for home when you need it.

Today about 9 a.m. I went into Dollar General the ladies that work this morning was so pleasant each one of them I saw three ladies they were smiling and laughing and talking whoever these ladies are this is the team you need the store looked very nice they were working on layouts I seen but it was okay I havent been in a while but if this is the team that you have chosen to work at this Dollar General on Laketon you have done very well I just wanted to just leave a review if I can leave a bad when I can leave a great one when I see it thank you ladies I appreciate you PS just saying the way your employees are is the way the customers will come in and treat your store much better just showing some love keep up the good work we appreciate you young ladies

Great deals at times but u must check the expiration dates on items.

If I could rate no stars I would. Shelves are empty and the store is filthy and run down. Doesnt even look like they try to take care of it what so ever

The workers were very friendly. I walked in and a lady was mopping up the wet floors looking out for customers safety. The gentleman had a long line and not once seemed frustrated. He was very outgoing and a peppy personality. The lady did jump on register to help. Not a bad experience at all. Thank you for the great service!

Mostly every customers did not have any mask on there Faces, That why I stop shopping there for health reason colt19 .

The employees were super nice

It was very busy. Only one cashier was at the counter with at least 10 to 12 customers in line waiting. The cashier finally called another worker up to help out after standing in line for ten mins. I love Dollar general for the most part, but today, that one was very slow and hot! Never had to stand in a line that long before with that many people. Im sorry, I dont mean to be negative.

Stire bbn is dirty never have help. There been is a new girl c.c I think she had the store clean and helped evry person bv in timely manner she was very pleasant and refreshing to have someone like her if ther was more employee like her that store would be great .the dg.on apple ave in muskegon they are wonderful friendly and store is always clean

It is a very messy and unorganized establishment. There are like 2 isles at most times that you cant even walk side by side with someone if ya wanted to. I love Dollar Generals but this one I dread entering. I really hate to say it but they just need to shut this one down!!!

I can always depend on Dollar General for most of my house hold needs from laundry detergent, food, electronic and so much more at affordable prices.

Friendly staff, Store has a huge variety of things from animal food, baby supplies/food, clothes to feminine products.

Very dirty stock never stocked boxes all over. Very ghetto. Cashiers very disrespectful.

Fortunately, they have Duck Tape and we needed it to jerry-rig another kayak carrier for the car!!However, this store was dirty, messy and no bathroom 😑

Had what I was looking for out of all the stores I went to

The cashiers are usually nice, but this place is very run down. It feels more like a gas station than a store. Freezers are usually haphazardly filled, shelves are too crammed together. Its difficult to walk around in the store, the place is just too small for all the items.

Barely remember so Im guessing my mood was meh so I guess Ill state it was a simple in and out as most of the dollar stores are

The store was in disarray. Not very clean there. But the Dollar General in Hatley Wi was incredibly organized and clean

I love this store but I think they may need new management. Things are not kept stocked and its hard to get down some of the isles

Even though I do like going to these stores I wasnt too happy about a lot if the things I needed were out of stock. Ill plan on making afew more returns to this location in the near future to see if there are any changes in the things that I need being in stock, but at least the staff were helpful, nuce, and made me feel welcome once I walked in the door.

The location on Apple Ave was horrible. Only one working cash register and it kept freezing up. The only thing nice was the clerk. He was very courteous.

Was pretty nice, aisles were a bit messy and disorganized to me (in their placement) but things were easy to find if you paid attention, prices were alright and the cashiers seemed nice. Ill definitely be coming back.

I just really like shopping for cleaning supplys, personals, diapers and all kinds of different things. They always have deals and markdowns on alot of things.Find little things for the kids. Usually dont have to spend a ton of money

I hate going here for anything. There is always a long line with one cashier. And it always takes you 20 mins to get in and out no matter what you go in there for.

The dollar general on Laketon is horrible. I run in there for 2 things and have to wait in line for 20 minutes because they only have one person working the cash regester and its like that all the time.

I love Dollar General. The many products and great prices keepme coming back!! Many in Muskegon area!!

Love them they always have the shelf full never rude ppl never i got in there at least 4 times a week i have a new born son and he runs out of wipes shampoo fast so good to know they are a few blocks away.

When im looking for a great deal on items i visit this store.They have greek yogurt thats under one dollar yeah.

Negative 1, this store is nasty, the staff is not that great, just because you run a store in an urban community, does not mean that you can have a nasty store and expect us to spend our money there.
