Came in for an alignment on my 2020 SUV. I think the overall appointment took about 25 minutes. I was in and out! Customer service was excellent and the facility was extremely clean. I would definitely recommend this location and I would come back if another service was needed.

Yall!! When i tell you these are good men here, i mean it. I have a 3 week old brand new vehicle, i got a screw in a tire and a kind officer helped me get air in it, it was after 6pm and the officer called this location to see if they were able to help being so late, they assured the him they were open until 8 and would have me out in less than 30 min. When they were done with my car they brought me the keys and told me to have a better evening, they would not accept my payment and were only concerned with me having a better day. I would recommend them 100 times over.

There are numerous places to take your vehicle on the Grand Strand, and Mavis Tires & Brakes are in my No. 1 spot. The service is always exemplary. I am not treated as a number — I am a beloved customer. Every single person at this location has been consistently kind and exuded stellar professionalism. Ironically, or perhaps not, they also attract likeminded customers. While I wait for my services, which have mostly been oil changes, I enjoy banter and serious dialogue with other clients. Weird as it may sound, this is a business that feels like family — the members of the clan that you like — and I truly like everyone here! I hope and believe they will keep up the stupendous work they do.

Called and got a quote for them to Mount my tires on the rims. Quote was 80 dollars and when I got there they acknowledged that I got an 80 dollar quote but we’re trying to charge me 120. Staff team is not friendly at all and would not honor the quote that they gave me. Also don’t go here for an alignment if you have a leveling kit installed on your truck because they won’t do it and the guy working loves to argue with people. Would not go back and would not recommend.

Can not thank the staff at Mavis enough for their excellent customer service! They did a fantastic job helping me pick out some great tires for my Jeep. They had the old tires off and the new ones on in a quick time. Brian, Marco and the rest of the staff made me feel like a valued customer and took great care of me. I always cringe when it comes to things to take care of with my vehicle but the staff at Mavis made that anxiety inexistent and I’ll definitely be a returning customer! Called to get a simple question answered and was transferred 3 times. Then the dude wanted to get an attitude with me and after I asked to make an appointment, he said to come first thing in the morning because they only do walk ins bc of covid (what?). Proceeded to then hang up the phone on me in a angered fashion. Angriest tire service place Ive ever been to in my life. Lol

My experience has always been a breeze when coming to Mavis. It is a bit far for me to drive there, but I know that having someone I can trust to do work on my vehicle is priceless. Mavis tire has been nothing but GREAT to me!!! I have been using this location for almost 2 years now and they have always been very helpful and have given me great prices on all tires and services Ive received!! That being said I would highly recommend this location to everyone and I wouldnt go anywhere else!!!

They did an inspection on a vehicle that I want to buy. Brian at the front desk was great he didn’t even want payment for it. They also managed to fit me in the next day for a problem with another one of my vehicles. 10/10 recommended!

I got a screw stuck into my tire tread and was leaking air. It was Sunday in the late afternoon around 4:15 PM. I pulled into Mavis and was taken care of immediately. I was informed that the screw was too close to the edge and could not be patched so I would need a new tire. I agreed and they replaced it promptly & efficiently and I was charged about $125 which I thought was very fair. I appreciated them taking me so close to closingIn in my time of need. I was very grateful and offered the technician a tip he refused but I insisted he take it. I highly recommend.Thank you.

Mavis Tires & Brakes is the absolute best place to come when you need something done! They listened to concerns and didnt overcharge for the procedure. Absolutely amazing and highly recommended.

Not coming back. Called around 3 for an oil change, got told to come in at 5:30 because they were extremely busy. Got a call around 4 and told it was going to be longer because they were “really busy” and told to come at 6:30, 7 or even 8 and then got told to come the next day instead. i said i couldn’t tomorrow. Went around 6:30, nobody was there and got told it was going to be 2 hours or i can come back tomorrow and I said no, i would wait. Ended up waiting 5 minutes. Seems like the man was just too lazy to do any more work for the day?

Dylan was extremely helpful. I came here to have my tires looked at and to get a new car battery. Prices were great and the job was done very timely. I highly recommend them and will be returning for future car services.

I just recently located permanently to Myrtle Beach and was looking for a business that I could trust to change my brakes on my 2008 Toyota. I found that place at mavis on Waccamaw Boulevard. My vehicle needed all new rotors and brake pads. I was given a quote that was three times less than a Toyota dealer I received a quote from. My brakes were so bad it took longer to fix than expected. But the general manager(Brian)kept to his original quote. He was honest about other issues with my vehicle as well. I trust Brian and will without a doubt use Mavis on Waccamaw blvd in the future. I would highly recommend Mavis on Waccamaw blvd for all of your vehicle’s repairs.

My technician and work vehicle have been at this location for over 2 hours. Terrible service. It has cost my company lost income due to lack of service. Dylan was the employee who is supposed to be taking care of this. We will no longer recommend or support this business in the future

Not happy. I had my tires rotated with my oil change at another store. After the tire rotation my front end would shake starting around 60 mph. I brought my car into Mavis in Myrtle Beach to have the front tires balanced. I paid almost 40 dollars for the front two tires to be balanced. My wife took the car to Chicago and told me the front end shook on the trip. I returned to Mavis after about 5 weeks from the original tire balance and explained I still had a front end shake and felt it in the one tire. I asked about a warranty for the original balance. I was told with all the pot holes in the area the balancing has no warranty.If the stores policy does not warranty the work for 5 weeks, that is OK but other people should be aware. Next time I will go up the road to Firestone and purchase the lifetime warranty for about the same price.

Service was quick and the price was just right. The tire tech and guy behind the counter were both helpful and charming. Highly recommended.

I brought my car into Brian at mavis tires. I had one tire with a slow leak. Brian showed me the tire and let me know it was all dry rot and that all 4 tires were the same. He gave me a great deal on all 4 tires and the alignment. Brian and the guys at mavis tire are awesome,had me back on the road in no time. Rolling along safely thanks brian

One of your tire reps has developed an unprofessional relationship with one of her clients who is a mechanic. Samantha Fahey is talking with him at all hours of the night, stopping by his workplace unnecessarily and staying for hours. I have reached out to her to ask her to stop but she has refused. This is the kind of person you hire to visit all these men? This is completely unacceptable. I would appreciate it if you selected a different tire rep to visit going forward.Edit to add that after her boss making her aware of this review, she is still calling him! Very unprofessional and untrustworthy!!

I went in with a leaking tire. I was told my tire was fine and that maybe sensor was bad or switched. They told me a different tire ( that I was having no issue with) was leaking and I needed to replace it because the leak was on the side and they couldn’t plug it. Well, it’s been a couple days now and the tire I originally came in to fix is STILL leaking. The one that had nothing wrong with it..... so I guess I will go somewhere else to get the tire checked. Annoyed that I spent money to replace a tire that I was having no issue with.

I recently had a delivery that needed to be completed by a hard deadline. As I get to my car I see there’s a nail in my tire. I go to one place and I’m told it’s “ not fixable” AND they were closing. It’s late, and I needed a tire. I get to Mavis. I’m greeted, walked to my car to inspect it, sat down and was out the door fast. Oh and by the way. The tire WAS “fixed”. And I made it to the post just in time. THANKS GUYS!
