Deceptive marketing and unwilling to refund an unusable gift certificate. This is a large company selling perfume samplers with a voucher for a $75 bottle of one of the samples. On the voucher you get in the box, in the mail after you have already paid, in small writing it notes it can only be used at stand alone Sephora stores. There are very few of those left. I asked for a refund for the $75 voucher that I had already paid for and they said no, sorry for the inconvenience. SCAM! expected more from a large corporation.
On Vacation and wanted to get some infenty tint from Coastal Grand Mall and they dont have much of nothing in here.
We all know the store is closing now but their extraordinary wait to get through the check out line is not new.My experience at the jewelry counter has been excellent though. Balancing there two the store gets the three ⭐
Staff was ehh, not overly friendly like my free standing store back home but not rude either. But I was never greeted and was only asked if I needed help as I was walking out. But store was a mess and out of almost everything!! I wish they would just open a free standing store in North myrtle beach. I think it would do much better out there. All the mini ones in a jc penny dont seem to have it tgtr and never carry what most people want or need anyway.
My wife loves this place!
This store has been better in the past. This time it wasnt clean. None of the make up was in stock. I was very disappointed with the young lady who was working around the perfume. I wanted to smell one if the perfumes and she informed me she had to clean it first. Which I was okay with until she sprayed it with som much alcohol and then sprayed the perfume on the little paper thing. I couldnt even smell the perfume. All I could smell was pure alcohol. It ruined that for me. How can you smell or decide to buy a perfume if it all smells of alcohol and nothing else.I think you could wipe the bottle with a alcohol wipe and have a better way of doing things in that store. I was so disappointed in this store. The store clerks were not that nice or helpful either.
No eye liners available in the colors I wanted.
Terrible.. no wonder theyre going out of business.
I had a return, they were very nice
Worst customer service.First, If you can get someone to help you you are lucky.,Once I finally got help by going person to person, they act like they are doing me a favor.I finally wrote this review after 4 times going into this store with the exact same negative experience. There wont be a 5th time, plenty of other places to purchase these items cheaper.
Rude staff, horrible selection . Went to bare minerals & was treated with respect & the sales were amazing
The staff were super friendly and helpful. MaryAnne is the absolute best. She was very patient with me on finding my correct shade. The hospitality definitely makes up for the small size.
Honestly one of the worst Sephora shops I’ve ever been to, and I’ve been to many all across the US. I got greeted with a “hey”, not a “how can we help you today”. When I asked for help finding a product I was super interested in, I got a response along the lines of “I’m counting my drawer right now so I’ll be there in a minute”. Not only was she counting her drawer for the end of the night 20 minutes before they closed in front of everyone, she also never came to help me. THE WORST SEPHORA EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD! I put back all products I was going to buy, and politely walked away. I’ve worked in retail for a while, and even I know customers come first, not trying to shut down shop before closing time to get out ASAP! If I could, I’d honestly give them 0 stars.
Ive been to this store twice and both times it has been severely picked over and dirty, like sales bins after a Black Friday mob has gotten its hands on them. The messiness and lack of products just kills my enthusiasm for shopping. Its also very small and the counter people will watch you like hawks. Its better to shop Sephora online, where youll get a bunch of free samples to enjoy in addition to your purchase.
Sephora just fired all part time employees. Trash business.
Horrible customer service!!!
I was on a family vacay in April from Atlanta and this is the best store location of all the Sephora I visited in Georgia. The associate MaryAnn I think that was her name. She was the older lady the only one in the store with the bubbliest personality. Best store experience ever. I felt like I was a high end luxury store!
Great patient customer service.
I don’t understand why Sephora continues to put their name into the small JCPenney shops and call it a Sephora. I understand that they are scale down a bit. But I don’t understand the poor service. I have been to the one where I live in Wilmington and the service is rude and horrible in the store is dirty and never stocked properly so I decided while I was in Myrtle Beach to try the Sephora in the JC pennies there… Literally the same experience they ignore you, act like you don’t exist and her borderline rude when you finally ask for help. I literally went in there for five different items and my ticket would’ve been easily over $200 but it’s not the money even if I want to spend five dollars they should be helpful and polite. But these JCPenney stores like I said are never stocked and they’re dirty. They barely had anything that I was looking for other than one item which was junk elephant cleansing balm and I grab the last one. I literally put it back Because of the added to the employees had. I told them as such as well. I was literally in there for 20 minutes and no one bothered to help or even greet me. If Sephora wants to keep their reputation it where it should be they either need to stock the stores properly and put in proper help or put a proper Sephora stores instead of these little rinky-dink dirty JCPenney stores with because of the attitude the employees had. I told them as such as well. I was literally in there for 20 minutes and no one bothered to help or even greet me. If Sephora wants to keep their reputation it where it should be they either need to stock the stores properly and put in proper help or put up proper Sephora stores instead of these little rinky-dink dirty JCPenney stores with nasty rude clerks... They can’t even be called sales people they are just clerks because all they’re good for is ringing you up and taking your money
Every time I go into Sephora I am greeted and asked if I need help finding anything or if there is anything in particular that I am looking for. The employees are not over bearing and allow you to browse and shop on your own if thats what you wish to do. They give great suggestions when asked and its an overall pleasant experience. I would much prefer to shop somewhere where I feel my presence is welcome and not a nuisance, unlike other cosmetic/beauty stores in the area. Nice job Sephora!
Very good beauty salon and fair pricing.
Elle is the best employee she helped me out alot
0 stars...they dont put lashes on. So your going to do my whole makeup then not finish it with lashes talk about pointless
Everything i went there to buy they were out of or do not carry in the store. Literally their shelves are bare. I was very disappointed. I suggest ordering online! You get awesome free samples and free minis online. Ulta has tons of the Anastasia softglam pallets incase anyone else goes to Sephora looking for it.
They dont offer samples. When I wanted to get smth with the points I had they had nothing to offer!!
They are very helpful
So disappointed in this Sephora. Came to grab some lip color from the Fenty collection. There is barely anything there.
My wife and daughter seem to like it.
Eww stinky grosse
The store is not as clean as it should be, and the sample sizes are only good for one use. Low stock so they hardly have anything my girlfriend goes in looking for. We went to Ulta instead.
Small space by comparison to New York stores, friendly staff, inside a clean JC Penney.
Very nice
Did not have what I wanted
