Amanda is the Best! She helped me with 2 great pairs of sunglasses that I loved until they eventually got stolen out of my truck. I went back in and insisted on her, trust me she knows her stuff. She helped get me progressives and made adjustments to help me while playing golf. The eye Dr. there was awesome too, can’t remember her name, but she was super sweet and efficient. I love Oakley brand, but they have all kinds of brands to choose from. The best place in Myrtle beach to get your glasses.
In-house eye exam was seamless! The Eye Doctor was thorough and informative. Nikki was very helpful and filled my prescription on demand. Strongly recommend this location. Very busy but they get it done!
The other week I need new glasses made asap due to my dog eating them, I called the store and talked to Nikki, she was able to pull my account up and get the information to make the same pair, by the time I got to the store they were already made. Super helpful and friendly team!

Nikki is terrific!! I got into town this morning for a golf weekend and my glasses broke just as I left the house. Went right to Lens Crafters. Nikki suggested how they might be repaired and when that wasn’t possible she got to work on a new pair. Had them in no time! She even stored by golf travel bag so didn’t have to drag it around the mall! Wonderful service and experience!!

The doctor was so happy, friendly and caring. She was truly genuine. One of the best eye exams, if not THE best I’ve had in my long career of exams. She even put me in a good mood which is very hard to do. Excellent.

IF YOU LOST OR BROKE GLASSES ON VACATION - GO HERE!!!IMPORTANT: If you are arriving before the mall opens, wait by the main mall entrance between Belk and JC Penny. The security officer opens the door at 9am for walkers and you can then go to LensCrafters. There is no external entrance.These guys were absolutely amazing. Lost my glasses in the ocean and they were the only ones to take my same day request. Legitimately other places were rude and had no walk in availability or appts available for over a month and even when I told them I needed glasses to drive 17 hours home, other places just hit me with tough luck.LensCrafters told me they had my back and really did. Prices were fair, doctors were very kind and friendly, gave me my Rx and made the glasses literally within an hour of finishing my exam. We got them before even leaving the mall. These guys were life savers.

I did not ultimately buy a pair of lenses from this store but the selection was amazing. They had everything from your traditional wire rim glasses to the more stylish frames. The employees were very friendly and anxious to help. I will definitely keep this store in mind when its time to buy another pair of glasses.

I wish I would of read reviews before hand. I get my eyes checked every year through insurance. I usually go to another company but appointments were difficult so I decided I would try LensCrafters. They have a nice online shop that incorporates my insurance which I really liked.The wait time was short. Did the puff test signed to not dilate. Went to the next room for the exam. Was feeling good about the appointment (minus the chairs and such seem old and broken down).When time to check out I was expecting $10 for the exam and some taxes on the lenses. Instead my bill was $59.50. Apparently this company charges for a Contact lens appointment but doesn’t dare to tell you ahead of time. Very unexpected. The person who got me all my paperwork and such was nice and did ask (mentally notating that when I signed for dilating I should of been told about the contact price).Left a huge distaste for this company. I’ll proceed with my follow up because insurance ultimately dictates that but next year I’m going back to my last doctor no matter the wait.

I had lost my glasses and was going out of town in a few days. LensCrafters help me out greatly. I was able to get a vision test and new glasses all within a couple of hours.Brendan had helped me find a pair of glasses that fit me just perfect and had a lot of compliments on them thank you very much LensCrafter.
We have been going to this particular facility for years! Always super kind, and always compassionate with my sons extra needs. But the last few times we’ve noticed a shift. One person in particular, Ben Jennifer. When I asked to speak to a manager, he laughed and said he was the manager and would not even give me any information on who else I could contact with my problem. This is the last time that I’ll ever walk into that office. I’m very upset. I give that place business in which I get disrespect in return. I do not recommend this office. And if you are seeing this review and you are someone affiliated with Lens Crafters at Coastal Grand Mall, I would greatly appreciate you contacting me and can explain in more detail. Whereas right now I’ve been refused any information on who else I can direct mail this. In fact I was laughed at because he was the direct manager apparently.
The team at this location is BEYOND EXCELLENT. Lee Ann, Nicky and Dan are professional in every way. They remember my wife and my names the types of glasses we like. It is like we are more than customers, but a part of the family.
The eye doctor here was very friendly and explained everything to me. She made sure to answer all questions that I had. The lovely lady who handeled my frames.... I usually go for something extremely low profile. This lady had me try some frames that are NOT my usual style. I actually LOVED them. She really went in depth with choosing a great frame for my wide cheekbones. They were not only beautiful but very flattering to my face. I definitely recommend this office to anyone.
I went to the coastal grand mall lenscrafters in myrtle beach SC. back to school is coming up soon and I was on vacation. my little brother had the nose piece fall out of his glasses and they would keep falling down. We were in the mall looking for me some school shoes and we seen the store and went in to get my brothers glasses fixed. we walked up to the desk and told them, then a very nice worker named Brandon came up to us right away and said oh thats an easy fix give me 2 minutes and it was done for less time than that and then he made sure that the glasses didnt fall off and they fit well and of course they were spectacular! Brandon also didnt make us pay a thing and we were in there for like 5 minutes! I would totally bring my brother back to there and i would request Brandon!! 👏😁

Dan help us with our issue. We frames werent at all my style, not sure what happened when we originally chose them. Dan made our exchange easy. He was pleasant. I am beyond satisfied with the service Ive received, Dan went above and beyond. I am a first time glasses wearer, therefore, I understand that it may take some accessing to get things just right. I went in thinking I wanted progressives, and after 2 eye appointments, I still couldnt see right out of the progressives. Dan and Lee Ann teamed up to figure out that I fall into the 20% category of those who cant wear a progressive. I left the store seeing perfectly, thanks to a very patient Dan and Lee Ann, not giving up on me until things were right. They both were just as happy as I was, and its so nice, in this crazy 2020 that were living in, to be treated with such understanding, knowledge, patience, and kindness!

I went to Lenscrafters York, PA. Horrible experience. Horrible customer service. The manager was condescending and rude. I was told one thing, then another and then another. No consistency. I have gone to Lenscrafters for years. My days are over going there. I will going to our local optometrist.
I had fallen and crushed my glasses. New to Pawleys Island, I dont have an optometrist yet, so, I used the services at Lenscrafters.Wow, what a great job. Couldnt have been more pleased with the whole experience, from the doctors team to the staff of Lenscrafters in replacing my complicated prescription in a prompt, professional manner.

I will never go to LensCrafters again. I paid over $1000 for prescription. PRADA sunglasses ; had surgery on my eyes and no longer needed prescription lenses. They wanted $163 to put in non prescription lenses. I ordered. the lenses on line for $50. Do your research and save $ the sun glassed I bought were a lot cheaper on line

From the young lady that dilated my eyes, to the best optometrist I’ve ever had, and another young lady that helped me find the perfect frames. This was by far the best service I’ve experienced . Horrible customer service and management. Child was fitted over a month ago for contacts and have yet to receive lenses that we have requested. Had to call multiple times over the last few weeks and follow up on person all to be told they were back ordered or they could not locate the order on previous brand ordered. Communication is very poor at this location. The doctor is hardly in and fails to address issues with concerns with lenses. Assistant manager attempted to provide random contact lenses that were not the correct prescription to try and hold our son over. She apparently does not realize she doesn’t have the medical experience or licensure to make recommendations for an eye appliance. Nor does she realize the affect incorrect lenses can have on the cornea. The manager fails to address his staff are practicing out of their role/ without a license. Not to mention was hung up on by the same individual that tried to give incorrect lenses to our 11yo child.

The receptionist is an absolute evil person. I lost my glasses. Im on vacation. Fortunately my prescription was on file with Lenscrafters. The receptionist refused to pull up my prescription so I could have another pair made. Why would someone go out of their way to be absolutely horrible to a person in need? Do they not understand that their business model is indeed built around selling glasses? They literally are in the business of selling glasses and refused to sell me a pair of glasses. I cannot understand people like this. Its like I stepped into an episode of The Twilight Zone.

I had fallen at work on 9/12/2020 and broke my glasses Dan Mezzela helped me work with my workers comp to replace my glasses. Dans perfectionism and patients during this process was outstanding, as he helped me work with my adjuster for the last 3months. When we got the ok to have my glasses replaced, Dan had all the paperwork ready to go for my new glasses. Dan answered all my questions and called me to see how I was doing. Dan was generally concerns on how things where going and how I was feeling. You have an outstanding Store Manager to represent your company. I will not hesitate to reefer LensCrafters to everyone I know as all of your staff was helpful, pleasant, and helpful. Thank You DAN
Terrible service for the SECOND time in one year! My son and I have been unable to get our eye exam or glasses for the second time in a year from this location! We came in today, patiently stood in line, no one said a word to us- not even hi, we are busy and will get back with you in a minute!! Another customer comes in behind us and gets an automatic hi...with a smile! Angela tells us that they “get to us when they get to us!” This is the second time I have had this problem here. Customer service is terrible!

So. I had like. The WORST week In a long time. Nice way to start 2021 amiright??.Anyway. On vaca a day AFTER I broke my glasses ( I needed a new prescription Anyway, and was going to get one, the broken glasses made the problem, well needing to be expediently solved)..End up with killer toothache. Have to go to and emergency dentist. That did not end as well as my LensCrafters exp..Anyway. I SHOW UP TO LC. At about 11:45ish. IM LIKE. well I have an emergency dentist apt at one.. can we get it done before that?.So Im in serious pain. And its obvious. Lady at the eye center in the store. Doesnt want to make me wait just in case they cant.She says to me. Pick out your frames, Come in at three when you are done at the dentist. And I will get you in first.I show up at 3:20 ( thats when I could get there from the dentist).She says AMANDA good to see you. I already have you checked in. You are NEXT.Wow awesome!!After the eye exam, I started to really hurt, as the numbing was wearing off.The LC employee. Also named Amanda.Got me my glasses in RECORD TIME. LIKE NO JOKE.SHE literally took my prescription and the glasses I had picked straight into their lab. Which they did.. RIGHT THEN.In between, she also graciously gave, a bottle of water to take some Ibuprofen,to be helpful.I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH good things about this type of customer service. On top of all that, they are mailing me my sunglasses, that had to be sent out!!. They really helped my really bad day, be a little less bad..!Well done. And thankyou for making me feel better, and being so kind!!
If I could rate this store -0 I would. They told us to come back 3pm (went there for walk in at 12), was back at 2:45. Wasn’t seen by the doctor till 4:25. Could have been honest what time is what. If you don’t believe in 3-point- Something star in the review I would give it a thought.
Will never do business here again. I came in for my appointment and I understand safety with Covid19, but how do you check the temperature of the person in front of me who happened to be White for three seconds and she is fine but as for me a black man when you check my temperature you hold it to my temple for a much longer time trying to make it read over 100 degrees and tell me I will have to reschedule in two weeks. Very disappointing I will let everyone know of the racial disparities at this location

Dr. Loher is hands-down the best optometrist I have ever seen. I have had issues with my eyes for years and want to make sure I am in the best hands. Dr. Loher works to explain everything she does. I have been seeing her for years and will continue to do so.

Would definitely never come back. Customer service was horrible. When I walked in no one acknowledged as they were busy on their phones and chit chatting. Then they handed me new patient paperwork, did not say anything. I then turned it back to them, no words spoken, not “thank you have a seat we will be right with you”, nothing. Then I get to the back minimal friendliness, doctor was okay but knew nothing. She was recommending things but didn’t know pricing, she said, I quote “there are too many prices I would never try to remember them”. Pricing is also ridiculous, they quoted me $165 with insurance for just lenses, new frames with lenses (Oakley’s might I add), $60, coupon made them $35 and that was even with upgraded polycarbonate lenses. LensCrafters quoted me for plastic cheap lenses. I will not come back to this place except to pick up my contact script, this is how they try and get people. Even though I currently wear contacts they insisted they must give me a trial and come back for a final fitting and then they will give me a script, AKA trying to sell me their overpriced contacts. I would definitely go elsewhere!

Very disappointed, after only a little over month of having my very expensive Raybans with transition, glare and scratch guard. I noticed clear spots on the lenses. I took them into the store and I was told they were scratched and needed new lenses! I was cool with that until they said, they were fees involved. I said at initial purchase I payed for scratch guard! So why am I paying for scratched lenses to be replaced? The manager said it was a fee and to add protection plan! Again why do I need protection plan with scratch guard lenses? I told the manager I would shop elsewhere! During the process my transition lenses were not dark. When I called a couple of days after receiving my glasses, I was told the older and more exposure to the sun the darker they would get. So today I asked again in person and it was a miracle after being placed under UV light one time (darker)! So I suggest shopping elsewhere!
I drove to Lenscrafters because which is over an hour away from where I live because I love the LensCrafters in Fayetteville North Carolina. Today I would be doing shopping and Myrtle Beach, so thats why I came despite their horrible reviews. I was in LensCrafters over 10 minutes while five employees stood at the desk talking and joking and absolutely no one acknowledged my presence in the store. While I was in the store three other people walked in two of them were acknowledged by saying hello but no one was asked how may I help you. I called a friend of mine to come into the store to see if anyone would ask if she needed assistance. When she came in she was in the store for a few minutes and no one asked her if she needed help either. After she said is no one acknowledge her and that I have been in here for 10 minutes with no acknowledgement. The store manager Dan asked the employees that he was joking around with the whole 10 minutes if anyone had helped us. Obviously humor because he was there with them the whole time. If this is denied. The corporate office should pull the tape from 4PM on 12/24/2019. He then walked over to us hesitantly and asked if we needed help. At this time we decided we did not want him to assist us since we were obviously not a priority nor was any other customer. He along with other employees were terrible to ignore anyone who walks in as a customer and is made to feel they are interrupting the employees socializing and joking. This is very clearly a poorly managed office and something should be done. Does the corporate office even look at the reviews or consider customer satisfaction? If they did something should have been done a long time ago. I am a registered nurse and I cannot imagine being neglectful and goofing off at my job.
I dont know what happened to all these other people with bad reviews, but I had a wonderful experience here. I made an appointment, which you should always do. I made my appointment yesterday for today, so you probably wouldnt have to book months in advance. Everyone was super super nice and made me feel welcome. I got an eye exam, contact lenses ordered, and eyeglasses ordered. The technician was very nice and explained everything to me as she did it, which I appreciated. Dr. Custer did the same thing and was very friendly. Angela took pictures of me with the frames I wanted, so I could see which ones looked best on me. I am getting my contacts Tuesday and I should get my glasses by the 15th at the latest (special order because I have really bad vision and wanted anti-refraction/transition lenses). I opted to pay an extra $34.99 to get a 1-year insurance for my glasses. Only $25 to replace the lenses or frames or $50 for both, instead of the full amount for the ones I selected ($450 including frames and lenses). I used to go to H Rubin before today. Now, I will never go anywhere but here. :D

I have have no idea how this store has customers. I had to walk over to a group of employees and ask for assistance. One of the guys said, oh sure did you need something? I said yes and walked back to the left wall of frames and no one was behind me!!! The employees were still talking to each other. I just left the store out of frustration. I went down to Visionworks and 2 other customers from Lenscrafters were in there.
Repaired my glasses quick and nicely. My nose pads were old and one fell off. They repaired them for next to nothing in just a few minutes. Would happily get glasses or more significant repairs done here.

Myrtle Beach LensCrafters does not give same quality service as other locations.We used LensCrafters in Ft. Myers FL and got great pair of sun glasses polarized and progressive lens same day in about 1 hour. We used LensCrafters in Goldsboro NC and got great pair of progressive glasses same day in about 1 hour.Myrtle Beach store required us to make 4 trips to get a pair of sunglasses and glasses oredered at the same time. First had to come back next day to pickup sunglasses which had reading section of progressive lens too low. The store mgr delivered the glasses and was busy standing up over my wife fitting her glasses talking to friend over my wifes head rather than giving full attention to the customer who is the most important person in the store. then go back in 4 days to pickup regular glasses and discover they too had reading part of progressive lens too low. so both pairs of glasses had to be sent off and wait another 4 days to pick up. Poor job crafting the lens and poor customer service fitting them.
They didnt do anything horrible to me but they certainly dont go out of their way to offer exceptional customer service. They are overpriced, have limited inventory and dont wait for that text or call to tell you your glasses are ready. It never comes. If I can do better next year, I will. Ill be looking.

Brought my prescription into this store and had everything ordered within 15 minutes and picked up my new glasses later that day after the round. Lost my glasses at the beach on vacation. My prescription is so strong that ordering lenses usually means waiting a week for them to be shipped in. This location had a new pair of glasses ready for me in an hour. Salespeople were very friendly and helpful. If I lived in the area, I would definitely return here.

While on vacation at Myrtle beach with our entire family from ohio, i had lost my eyeglasses while jet skiing. With my prescription expired and used to waiting two weeks to get my glasses after waiting a month to have a vision exam, my expectations were low. About closing time that night i stopped by lenscrafters and explained my predicament. The sympathetic staff member told me to be here by 10am the next day. I arrived early and within 30 minutes i was getting my vision exam by the courteous tech and optometrist. I was assisted picking out my frames, and lenses with extreme attention to detail. The lady helping me was so helpful. About 90 minutes later,i received a text saying my glasses were ready to be picked up. Thank you for such a pleasant experience!
WOW! I read all these reviews and Im guessing the ones that need a pair of reading or distance glasses had no issues. I have ZERO TOLERANCE for poor customer service. No customer should ever be ignored. I would think the Manager needs to go since they are in charge of that store.
Not the most friendly staff.I stoped in just to see what kind of frames they had.The lady was ok nice, buts that’s about it. Did have some pretty frames though.The price was way more that I would spend.

Worst customer service ever!!! Slow to rectify their mistakes. They ordered me the wrong perscription for my contacts. That was two weeks ago!!!!!! Im still waiting on my correct contacts!!!!! But they got their money two weeks ago!!!! Will NEVER use them again!!!!!!
Daniel is the store manager at this location. I arrived with a pair of glasses that I was unable to wear due to poor quality from 20/20 eyewear in Murrells Inlet. Dan listened closely to my concerns and in the meantime discovered the errors in the prescription from 20/20 eyewear. Within a couple of hours, I walked out with new lenses in my frame. Wonderful service and excellent quality!! Thank you Dan! The whole atmosphere is uplifting! Dan is doing a great job with keeping his employees happy, as you can see and experience the warmth from all of his employees from the moment you enter the store.
Never wore glasses. They were extremely helpful and very fast service. Made me feel like I was important to them.
