This was one of the worst experiences in customer service Ive ever had. I had use them before a few years ago on another property and the first time was great. This time I wanted them to do a demolition and reinstall. It started off well enough even though the job took a long time to start because of covid and material acquisition and during this time there was no communication. The day of the job finally came. I had a small shed near the fence line and the person doing the job told me it had to be removed before the new fence could be reinstalled or they could not do it. I could not be without a fence so I had to personally physically do it. During this whole ordeal I felt like the technician was trying to physically intimidate me, staring me down etc.Once I knocked down my own shed on the spur of the moment they completed the fence. I ran an errand for just a moment and came back to find them gone. They did not think enough to tell me the job was done and then I found out why. The fence was being put on top of a small retaining wall and they destroyed parts of the retaining wall without fixing it. This left a good sized gap under the fence and was an eye sore.The shed nor the retaining wall were addressed in the original quote and I wanted them to fix the retaining wall or I would not pay because its not a fence if it doesnt keep things out or in. They were bad about returning calls or emails. They would schedule things without telling you. The owner told me she was coming to look at it but never showed. Then she came without saying when expecting me to wait at home for her.Finally they went to someone at my job threatening to make a complaint against me if I did not pay which is akin to extortion. All this being said all I wanted was a fence that looked good and functioned and I did not even get that. Listen to my tale and use someone else.

Horrible initial customer service. Every time I called I felt like I was bothering them and they just woke up. Bad first impression but learned throughout the process its their customer service. We signed an estimate with Good Fence but never got a date for install. This was in the beginning of the COVID-19 so I gave them a pass. I called to cancel after 2 weeks of no communication because I received a better quote from Action Fence. After 2 weeks of not hearing from them, they told me I can cancel but Id have to pay their restocking fee. I could not find a restocking fee mentioned anywhere on the quote nor the website. I saw their Terms & Conditions, which they said I agreed to, and it is 1 sentence saying the quotes expire after 30 days. Action Fence does not have a restocking fee. Their Restocking Fee is 30-50% of the deposit you put down before the job is even started for materials. DO NOT SIGN A QUOTE unless youre done getting estimates! So I was stuck with them or lose $1,000. The install date came and they did show up. It was sub contracted to another company so Goode Fence werent even the ones install the fence. I liked the sub contractors which I gave them more business in the neighborhood. I spoke to Frank and Danielle who manged to salvage the deal and the fence went up. Now the gate isnt in. It will be in tomorrow... 4 days later it comes in and its build wrong...... another 4 days later the correct fence is installed. 8 days for a gate! The fence is up and sturdy which is one of the few good things I can say about my interaction with Goode fence. Their rating (3.7 on 4/14/20) is true to the experience I had.

They never measured the fence correctly and left a huge gap under the fence. I cant keep my dog in the backyard which was the purpose of the gate.

Had an appointment with them and they never showed nor called to let me know they werent coming. Asked them to give me a quote on something and she proceeded to tell me that it was going to be too much. Considering that they never came to look at what needed to be done I am not sure how they would know anything. Poor customer service and lack of interest in helping customers.

They did a good job on my fence even though they didnt measure it right and shortened my back yard by 300 square feet (6x50). They left me hanging on a $2000 custom built front gate after literally MONTHS of them telling me to be patient and that it was on the table being built. Eventually they just disappeared. Im just glad I didnt give them money up front.

I am the property manager at a large storage facility and when it comes to first class customer service, these guys are the best. I call and show up on time and the work is great and pricing is awesome. Would recommended this company to anyone looking for a first class company.

Hands down, the least professional company I have ever dealt with. The first day they were supposed to come . . . No call, no show. When they finally showed up, they proceeded to install the wrong kind of fence. Rather than restart the project, they retrofitted what was there in what could only be described as shotty workmanship. On top of that, they had the audacity to try to BLAME ME for THEM installing the wrong fence to begin with. I consulted multiple other fencing companies and confirmed that the installation was incorrect. I checked planks to see if they were secure. Many came off with a soft tug. They left my yard littered with tools over the weekend. Also, they drilled through my cable because they failed to have the lines marked. Dont make the same mistake I did. Hire someone else . . . Anyone else.

Waited 1 1/2 hours for contractor to show up as scheduled. Called company to find out the job was re-scheduled as material was not in.Communication is a great thing as we know in the property management business !!! Hope finished job is better than office skills.

Had a privacy fence installed and the job was done very quickly and the fence looks great! The workers were friendly and efficient!

After getting several quotes for a fence I chose Goode fence. I sure am glad I did. They were very professional. They showed up when they said they would and did a first class job at a reasonable price . I highly recommend them to anybody who needs a fence.

Didnt order anything there as we were looking for a replacement part for a deck railing not purchased there. The gentleman who tried to help us but didnt have what we needed was very helpful, sensitive to our situation and personable for sure..

They did what they were supposed to do. The fence is up, my dogs have a playground and I saved both money and my feet.

This guy was driving from socastee today and nearly ran me off the road with his truck on hwy 17. If your companys name is on your truck, dont drive like a total moron.

Goode Fence is the most pathetic company when it comes to Customer service and satisfaction. I had them come out and do an estimate before Christmas. I was told it would be in around the 19th and installed. I asked the worker T.A. then did I need to pay or put down a deposit because I needed the fence ASAP. He said wait until he gets word when it comes in or he contacts me. Well, I called yesterday (Jan. 12th) and my fence was never ordered. I called the office and left several messages for the owner to call me and that hasnt happened either. I was promised a call back today (13th) and that never happened either. Needless to say they are very sorry and unprofessional so Im taking my business else where and will never recommend them to anyone!!!
