I absolutely love Tina she is the best. I feel very like I have know her my whole life. She is definitely like family. I will always use this storage if I ever need any storing needs. She makes you feel at home. If you are looking for a place to store your things then you made the right choice.

This place is awesome! The employee Steve was super helpful and courteous. He explained everything and was extremely knowledgible! We got a great storage unit at a great price! I used one of their climate controlled storage spaces for 18 months and it was worth every penny. I just moved into a bigger house and all of my belongings were in as good a shape as when I first stored them. Very helpful staff.

Accessibility from Robert grissom parkway and Highway 501 makes this storage facility very handy. The units are under video surveillance and negated entrance makes it easy to enter after hours. The staff is easy to work with and very friendly. If you have stuff to stash you should consider this as a option.

Easy to deal with

Deciding last minute that we needed a storage facility, we contacted Life Storage. The experience has been fantastic from the beginning. The customer service representive was super nice, explained everything very well while taking care of our concerns. We received a call from the staff at Life Storage to verify our rental. Once we got there, Lois and her father was extremely pleasant and provided top notch customer service. We will rent from Life Storage again in the future.

Still to this day life storage has done nothing to fix what was there responsible, I had my belongings in a storage unit at Life Storage off Cannon Rd. For only 3 months. When i finally went to get my stuff out almost everything was damaged or destoryed from rats because of the unit next to mine and i was never told there was a rat problem so maybe i could have save most of my stuff. I was told to call the insurance company and reported the damage. It was around $3,600 if not a lot more. The insurance company was not what i told and they cover very little towords my stuff and when i called Life Storage back and to let them know and who is going to cover the remaining balance they said they are not responsible for my stuff. Wait they know there was a rat problem next to my stuff and could not call me to inform me, my unit was 4073. I am a disabled Veteran me and my girlfriend were homeless for 3 month, we finally get back on our feet, get a nice apartment and to see all our stuff is gone, stuff that cant replaced. I would think twice about trusting this company with you belongings because the only thing they care about is getting your money and thats it. It was not just a few rats, it was a army of rats. I have pictures for anyone who wants to see just how bad it was. Just wanted people to know so you all dont have to go through what we did, thank you for taking your time and reading this, just dont want what happen to me happen to anyone else, the one thing i cant get past is they know the unit next to mine had a bad rat problem and moved them to another unit could have told me too or had me move to another unit too just in case so my stuff would have been safe, why no communication with me. They did not value our belongings and what our stuff means to us, quick to take our money and charge us for being late but to hell with your stuff, again thank you all for taking the time, have a good day

Would give zero stars if was available. Went to remove my belongings from the unit rented for 3 months and all of my living room furniture ruined. The couch and chaise lounge covered in mildew was informed by another renter that was removing there stuff that apparently there had also been a rat infestation that noone was notified about she found out because all her stuff had been eaten and chewed up. When I went to the office the manager told me they could do nothing about the situation and that all I could do is take pictures and turn it in to the insurance company now after paying 3 months for storage I now have to replace the furniture that they were storing which is now unusable. Unacceptable would not recommend

Great customer service and flexibility by the staff to help you when you need it. I just placed my lifes belongings in one of their 10 x 15 climate controlled storage units and couldnt be happier with this precious space.

The experience started off horrible. This place is more about the money than doing the right thing and taking care of customers. The storage unit has a faulty lock, we spent 20 minutes trying to get the door locked and unlocked. There was a lot of run around pertaining to different information that was given but in the end Tina Ridener provided five star service, she went above and beyond and showed what great customer service should be like. Tina thank you for everything!!

We have been using Uncle Bobs for ten years. Living in Michigan with a home at the beach is much simpler and cost effective by leaving a car near the Myrtle Beach airport. The staff has been stellar. I recently had to store my stuff here as I was moving out if my house. This was the only place around I could find a unit. No contract which is great but the prices are a little high and use a special style of lock that you have to purchase and cannot really repurposeonce you leave. I was desperate so I just went with it. The staff is friendly and helpful. If I had to I would use them again.

What a great experience moving all of my stuff into their storage facility. The manager Heather was very nice and answered all of my questions and concerns. Would definitely recommend Uncle Bobs to anyone needing a safe and secure place to store your things.

We rented an air conditioned unit and everything was going great till the storm came through. We went to our unit in Myrtle Beach/ Surfside SC and found that there was no A/C. We reported to management and was told she was surprised and no one told her. We should not have had to tell them. After a major hurricane one would think they would check this all out. Then we were told a week later they needed approval for the a/C company. A week after that we were told that they were busy and didn’t get there yet. A week after that we were told the parts were on order. So nearly a month later all of my items, clothing, house hold items, canned food are all sitting in a 100 degree storage unit that will now need to be rewashed and the food disposed of while am paying nearly 200.00 a month! This should have been fixed the first week. Not 4 weeks later. And I’m not even sure when it will be fixed at this point. When I called today for an update I was told it’s out of her hands and she’s working on it. If I wanted a non air conditioned unit I would have ordered one. I had one once in Florida and I can tell you all my cloths had to be rewashed due to the heat. I was not looking to do this again so I purchased a unit with A/C. And of course you can’t get ahold of the main off because the phones are set up to go directly to this office from all over the country. So you can’t get ahold of upper management to let them know waiting 3 weeks for an A/C company to show up is unexceptionable . I’m beside myself at this point.

After helping friends move earlier in the year I decided to use this location as my personal storage. All of my things got molded. And they kicked me out very last minute because they were building a new building it that location. Instructed me to get my things out in less than 30 days, if not they wouldve have auction it off. I hate this place they ruined an 3 bedroom house worth of furniture and memories. The customer service is horrible. SAVE YOURSELF anything is better than life storage. Go to Strand Storage Center, their customer service is awesome and you can get the uhaul from there as well. They even worked with me and did extra for me. After hearing my life storage situation; because they said they had heard the same thing from many other life storage customers

Lois is an asset to Uncle Bobs Storage. It was so hot outside the day I was to originally move in, my time was limited on the truck rental. She came up with a solution to my time crunch, told me to enjoy the AC in the office (which was great), and let her take care of everything. I was so stressed out about my move, but thanks to her solution to my time crunch problem, I was able to relax and smile even. I had some special circumstances, but Lois had a solution for everything. At the end of my visit, she gave me some helpful tips on things to use, like mothballs for critters/pests (and they also spray), charcoal for moisture, and tarps for the concrete floor. She was genuinely helpful and a delight to work with! Having access to a truck was also a HUGE help! I would recommend Uncle Bobs 600 Cannon Rd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577 any day of the week and twice on Sunday!

Im sad to say that I was mislead in the beginning. I asked if they needed a 30 day notice when I vacate and they said no .. just call us the day you are completely out and if its clean we will give you a refund of whats due for the remainder of the month. So, I did just that and confirmed it was clean by Lois but now Im told that the regional manager has decided to give NO refunds for anything. So Im out the $94.92 I should have been refunded. I have always been a good repeat customer that never ever made one late payment but I guess that doesnt matter ... So, a customer of this establishment I will NEVER be again. Sorry to the nice people that have to work their and mislead there customers. They are really nice though I would rather have my money back.
