Absolutely blown away by the service here. I took my VW in for general maintenance due to the fact there is no longer a VW dealership in town and was just not expecting the service I received - phenomenal from the very beginning call to the very end in picking up my car. I have never been to a mechanic that sends you text updates on your car, including a whole inspection report with photos. Not only that, Sophia was awesome in explaining everything before items were repaired and when I went to pick up my car I was handed a lotto ticket as a thank you for the business. Who does that?! I even won $5.00 :). I will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone looking for good, reputable service.

We had a great experience with B&B. We had our car towed after hours and first thing in the morning we had a text from B&B saying they were working on diagnostics and evaluating what needed to be fixed.Sophia was very communicative and prioritized our needs, as we are not from the area.A thorough evaluation was done on the car as well as repairs we needed to make it back home.Couldnt recommend B&B enough!

My car went in for an oil change this morning. My car was dropped of with a completely flat tire. When I called and spoke to Sophia I was rudely told that it was not their responsibility or their problem to fix. My car went into the shop with tires holding air and came out with a flat tire. This was the worst service I’ve ever received and was disgusted with how I was treated by Sophia on the phone. I will be contacting the BBB on this shop. Do not waste your time taking your vehicle here. I now know why they are not busy and don’t have good reviews online. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS

I love having my cars repaired at this family shop. Before any repairs they will send you a detailed spelled out diagnostic list of your auto repairs. After your review they will call you and go over the repairs and cost in the report. They do not pressure you to do any repairs that you think is not needed at the time. Oh yes, Sophia (daughter) working the front desk is exceptional explaining all details of the report with you. Great place!

The 1st full day of our vacation in Napa our car appeared to be having problems. We were visitors and had no idea who to call or trust. We only had a few days before we needed to head home. I made 3 calls with the first 2 saying they were too busy but recommended the next. I felt like they all really cared. The 3rd call was to B&B Foreign Car Repair. I was told that they were also too busy but would see what they could do and come on down.We drive up and felt like we were at the right place. There was a lot going on but we were greeted by Christina and reassured they would get to it as soon as possible but maybe not that day. Christina also called a local car rental for us and drove us there.We had a quote just before they closed that day. Somehow they found parts and we had our car the next day.Trustworthy! Above and Beyond.

I called first thing in the morning and was able to bring my VW Bug in that morning. Before noon I was contacted with the cause of coolant leak, and costs of repairs. I was to leave on a Friday in my Motorhome. On Thursday the day before I had an electrical issue with the house battery switch that I couldn’t figure out. Went to B&B as I’ve been there before with another battery issue. Pled my case of the emergency issue to leave the next day. They told me to get it there first thing in the morning and they would get right on it. Dropped it off at 7:15 and by 11:00 they it all repaired and off we went. All staff at B & B perform their duties with professional aplomb. They are friendly, courteous and helpful. From the beginning, they tell you exactly what they are doing, what needs to be done and how much it will cost. They efficaciously provide a comprehensive inspection, diagnosis and evaluation. Then they inform you about what needs to be done without any pressure to persuade you to do otherwise. When possible, the mechanics take photos that support their recommendations and forward them via text message. Needless to say they do NOT surprise you with expensive, unwanted parts or services.I was able to get my car towed from my apartment, repaired and delivered back to me without going more than 5 steps from my door. As a gesture of good will they handed me my car keys with a bottle of hand sanitizer and a lottery scratch off. I really appreciate their candor and transparency. I unequivocally recommend B & B to anyone who needs automotive repairs, including my family and friends.

Was getting the run-around from the shops who install batteries with vague answers as to whether they could fix my car same day or even find my somewhat rare and back-ordered Toyota hybrid starting battery. Over the course of many years I have the need to take a vehicle to be repaired. I was first introduced to B & B Foreign Car Repair a number of years ago. The turn signals stopped working on my bug and it was due for a service. They listened to everything I had to say about the bug. They contacted me with all items that they found that needed tending. Some of which I didnt realize needed to be looked at. This saved me time and money down the road if they hadnt found them. They had my bug done shortly after and it runs fantastic. B&B is the first repair shop I have ever been to where I see an attempt at transparency. They send a report with photos immediately after work is finished, with great detail and notes about what has been done and what is still needed. Even their non-mechanic staff have a good idea about whats going on with my car when I have questions. Their drop-off service to take you back home has always been a relief, and now with COVID-19 in the community they have adapted to a pick-up and drop-off service right from your driveway (if youre within a certain radius of the shop). Family owned and a repair shop you can actually trust. I first brought my Audi here back when I was single and so used to getting played by repair shops but they were extremely opposite. Helped me understand what I needed to do, if anything and explained costs. Now Im married and still bring my car here and even got my husband to bring his truck to them and hes a mechanic! Acquired 35 year old vehicle from out of state and needed the overall mechanics evaluated and the smog check performed. Job was done in a complete and timely manner. B&B is the absolute best car repair place in Napa. I have brought my Mercedes here since I moved to Napa (after doing a lot of research) and they are my go to for any repairs or questions that I may have regarding my car! They are extremely friendly and it’s a fun place to be. Their mechanics are excellent and the support people provide you with an entire inspection report that is both thorough and very informative. I have never seen anything like that from any car repair place prior to my coming here. My husband also brings his car here too. Sophia reviewed each with price breakdown and gave a timeline. All the work was done on time within budget. Beyond professional. As a bonus each member of the family at the shop, including Taz the soulful shop dog, had a broad smile whenever I came in. Blew me away when they offered me a ride home, free.
