My first visit, I took my car in for an oil change and everything went very well. During that visit I had asked if they would install some after market struts. I had a price from another shop in town that I thought was very high, so thought Id check to see how comparable it would be. At first they said they wouldnt do it but then said they would and gave me a price that 5x less than the other shop. A week later I my car in and they did the job perfectly. Im definitely going to continue using this shop for my repair needs in the future.

The Napa store. Bad customer service skill with handling escalation problems. He hang up the phone on me twice! What would had happened if I was in the store?!! Call the police?! I spent $1300 on my brakes and he didnt have ear of empathy? WOW!

The coolant light in my car came on as well as the washer fluid notification. I pulled in without an appointment and Robert greeted me and my daughter. He immediately assisted us. Filled up the washer fluid and checked the coolant level, which was full. He suggested taking it to my dealership to check the sensors. He was pleasant, efficient and so helpful. Thank you Robert!! You made our day!

All around good place to go now under new owner. Very polite, got my oil changed and asked for them to check fluids and brakes and tires. Everything was good but my air filter so we got that changed too. My car was done in about 30 minutes which is awesome. Definitely going to keep coming back.

I’m pleased to say that I’ve been very happy with the results every time.The management team is great and actually communicates with you effectively to keep you in the loop at all times.They’re good people and they do good work. I went in for a quick oil change. I had 3 hours before I had to be at work in Napa so instead of going to my local place( I lived in Rohnert Park at the time) I went here. My tires were new, I informed them, all my lights were working, I informed them of that also. As a professional driver I check my lights at least every few days.I was there for 2 1/2 hours for a oil change! I heard them checking the lights. I was getting impatient, so I stopped them, reminded them I had checked them there was no need. A few minutes later I here the lug gun I look up they are about to take my tires off! I stop them ask what they are doing. They are going to rotate the tires I just had rotated the week before and I had told them ONLY THE OIL CHANGE a few times .I am told there are now new owners, but as I told the new owner on the phone (she called me) a few months later. If you have the same slow, disrespectful staff that will not listen to the vehicle owner? I’m never setting foot there again! And I do not plan on giving them a chance and risking waiting 2 1/2 hours for a simple oil change again!!

Very please with the service. Had brake pads and rotors replaced at a facility in Houston and noticed the brakes were still squeaking. Was not able to take the vehicle back as we moved to California 1 week later.Upon arriving in California, I notified the store of the issue and they assured me they would take care of it. They referred me to the nearest location and that store replaced the brakes and rotors at no additional cost under their warranty.

Squeezed me in on a Sat, they don’t overbook apts so I was in and out efficiently and they pointed out another issue, promptly repaired it and I was on my way. I felt a big difference in the way my car drove when I pulled out. Nice experience!

The service was good and professional. My only complaint would be that they offered a discount for an oil change and the bill reflected a discount; however when the bill came the labor was added separately which effectively took away the discount. When Ive paid for an oil change in the past the total always included labor and waste disposal and filter as part of the total.

(1/21/2020) I had my front brakes done. I originally just wanted the free inspection and the estimation on what they deemed the worst, so after receiving info on what I needed (front brakes and rotors), Doug told me the reasoning behind how my brakes and the shaking vibrations they and I felt. After agreeing on the front brakes, I paid pretty much $400 flat and was extremely grateful for everything they did. Robert did the work and did a tremendous job and filled me in on my tires needed changing and also gave me a rough estimate on tires plus the regular maintenance. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs brakes.

Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this franchise. After being a long time customer - sending three cars and multiple maintenance and repairs to Curtis - hes lost our trust. On July 18, 2017 we had our car serviced at his shop. The service was fine, but his staff parked our car on the city street which has a time restriction. We later received in the mail an $88 parking ticket (never actually saw the ticket on the car). We sent this to Curtis and he paid, but it was not received until a month after the citation was due. This incurred a late citation fee of $91. I received the late payment fee notice on September 12, 2017. I have been asking Curtis to handle this for months. Unfortunately, as of January 11, 2018 it still has not been paid and the matter of collection is headed to the California Franchise Tax Board. Its unfortunate that Ive gone through months of this and will most likely have to pay this out of my own pocket. Curtis lost a loyal and frequent customer.

I went here a few months ago and asked for an oil change and tire rotation. I told them where the lug key was and got it out for them. I marked my tires FD for front driver and RD for rear driver. I asked specifically if they rotated the tires, they said yes but I knew they didnt, I then felt it was necessary to check the oil, check my tire pressure, look to see if the oil filter had been replaced myself, I didnt have time to call them out that day. I only went here again because I work down the street and its convenient for me to drop my car, leave it for as long as they need while I work. I asked the guy at the counter specifically about making sure the tires were rotated, I told him that last time I came in my tires werent rotated, he assured me they would be, I asked specifically when I was called and told my car would be ready soon, they werent rotated when I got there. Once again I felt it was necessary to check the air filter they talked me into getting only because its easier to replace it up on the rack and I didnt want to climb under my dashboard, check the tire pressure, check the oil, check the oil filter, I checked everything they did. I rely on my car, I love my car. This place charges close to dealership prices where I usually go. No peace of mind. One of the guys behind the counter was saying something about over rotating and tires exploding and some recall that happened a while ago. I read 3 articles on frequency of tire rotation while I waited for them to do the work I was told had been done. Im angry about the extra time I had to wait when I could have been at work working, I asked 3 times or more about a specific service and was let down. Waste of time, waste of money.

It’s very convenient that they are open on Saturdays and Sundays. I always make an appointment and am informed it will take 45 minutes to an hour to complete the service. I am typically pulling out of the parking lot at the one hour mark. The only reason I didn’t give five stars is that I personally feel the staff could improve on the tone in which they communicate with customers and each other (could improve the friendliness factor). Although they have never been unfriendly to me, personally, I HAVE witnessed a curt tone or interruption with other customers and amongst the staff. It’s possible to be firm, when needed, but still kind and respectful.

This business received an F by the Better Business Bureau. I had a friend that worked there in the past. He was told to always up sell when doing matainence. This is their business model. They target people who dont know much about cars by telling them they need to replace something when it is just fine already. Avoid at all costs

These guys always take care of our cars. We always get great service and I trust their suggestions. The owner has been pretty upfront about what we need and what we can do without. If need a ride back home after dropping the car off that is never a problem, the owner has even given me a ride back to my house before.

I was heading back to the Bay Area on a Sunday morning when I discovered that a sudden low pressure tire alert on my dash was caused by a screw in one of my tires. Anxious and on my own, I checked my phone and saw that this Midas shop was 8 minutes away. Robert and Mohammed came to my car as soon as I pulled up, assessed the tire, said they could repair it and had the work done in 20 minutes. They were super polite, friendly and professional. Definitely a 5 star experience. Highly recommend. These guys are great!

So for some reason one of my family members have been going here for years even after we told them that they are paying double what they should be paying. Well anyways the last time this place fixed the car they took the car out of town to make sure everything was working fine with it. That was approved. it was okay. But what wasnt approved was them taking the car across the bridge and not paying the toll. So when we got the bill in the mail Curtis the owner said he would pay it. Then we got a 2nd notice and Curtis again said he would pay. Then we get the car registration in the mail and guess what he never paid the toll ticket. As a customer my family shouldnt have to hunt down the money for the toll. He should of paid it right away. Please take your car anyplace but here horrible customer service

I called Curtis and let him know my reserve was holding coolant but my car would overheat. I asked him what the starting cost would it be he told me he would have to look at the car before he could give me a quote. So I bring my car in and before they even look at my car they charge me $230 just to look at the car. Mind you I drove from Vallejo to Napa perfectly fine the car didnt even overheat. he told me that it would take an hour to an hour and a half to check my car. After almost 2 hours I called and he said the car was ready and would cost about eight hundred and something on top of the to something that I already was going to have to pay to get a new radiator and thermostat. I told him that I was just going to take my business somewhere else that it was too much money. While leaving waiting to pay I told him that he ripped people off that I read several reviews he got very defensive and he was also trying to rip off another lady there that for a oil change. After I paid I left and couldnt even drive to the car wash right next to it the car started overheating water would not stay in the car at all. I called and told him that the car was in worse condition than it was when I brought it he told me that no it wasnt and that he told me I needed a new radiator. I knew I needed a new radiator but I drove and have been driving just putting water in the car and its been staying in the car and now the water wouldnt even stay in the car. This place is a complete joke they overcharge and I will never go here again not only will I never go here again but I would never recommend it to anybody else.

So about a year ago, July 2016, I went to this shop for help with a punctured tire that occurred during a road trip to NorCal. It was a very tiny puncture, I had actually driven on it for nearly 700 miles with only minor loss of air pressure. In fact I only knew for sure it was a puncture when the tire went nearly flat sitting overnight about 12 hours. I assumed they would just patch it and Id be on my way. Unfortunately, they told me that because it was a run-flat, they were unable to patch it and I had to buy a new tire. Being nearly 1000 miles from home with my family and not willing to spend half the day going around to different shops, I just let them do it. Fast forward to yesterday, a different tire on the same car was punctured near my home. I took it to my normal car shop and they repaired with no issue.Long story short, if you have a run flat with a puncture, dont go to this shop. Call around and find someone whos willing to repair it to save yourself the money. There is nothing special about them, and the whole we cant repair them line is just an excuse to make money off you.

You can tell how this place remains in business within a few minutes of being in here. Their prices are off the charts and no matter what coupon or deal you find online you will end up spending over $100(!!!) on an oil change! Be cautious and dont sign anything youre not comfortable with. Theres always an option to walk away before they rack up fees and charges never seen before.

He fixed every thing I paid for to perfection and Educated me on so much more. I have been in the car business for over 40 years and do over a $20,000/year with repair shops and never have had such a bad experience as I did last week with the Midas shop in Napa. One of our clients took a Volvo 240 in to the shop because it wouldnt start. They charged him $185 for a special battery (a 100%+ markup over their actual cost!) and it still didnt start. At 9AM I called and spoke with Curtis (an employee there for 34 years according to him). He said it would cost an additional $125/hour for a technician to diagnose the problem and that I would need to authorize the repair via an email response before the tech came in at 11am. I told him I may just want to have the battery removed and the original put back in and have the car towed to one of our repair shops. At 10am I sent the email back denying the authorization and informing them I would have a tow truck pick up the Volvo that afternoon. At 1PM Curtis called and told me he didnt see my email until after the technician fixed the car. It was a loose ignition coil wire (a one minute fix!). He said hed only charge me for a half hour of time (how generous after spending $185 on the battery!) When I told him I wanted to return the $185 battery and put my old one back in since it was probably good anyway, Curtis told me he wouldnt do that and then hung up on me. At 4PM Curtis sent me an email from his personal account telling me,we are putting your car on the street and we dont want to service it REASON NO SIGNED WORK ORDER AND YOUR NOT STANDING UP TO YOUR WORD. At 5PM our tow truck arrived and couldnt find the Volvo anywhere near Midas. I called Midas and asked the Midas employee, Joseph, where my Volvo was. He said Curtis has gone home and he did not know anything about the car. I told him to bring up the service report, which he did. He said, someone is not telling the truth here. I told him I emailed back in the morning refusing service and that you never ever call your customer a liar! I told him to find my car or Id call the police and report it stolen. Joseph said he would go look for it and put me on hold for 17 minutes and then disconnected me! My tow guy eventually found the Volvo. Midas had put the Volvo down the street far away from the shop and left the key in it. It could have been stolen by anyone!In my 40 years in the automotive business I have never been treated so poorly! I have checked all the social media sites (Google, Yelp, etc.) and see many bad reviews for this Midas shop so I would have to say my rude treatment was not a one time experience.

Curtis is a very deceitful person. I asked for 10w-40, they put in 5w-30. There was an oil leak after oil change, even though my car checked out with no leaks at that visit. 1 month after oil light came on....Low oil level....due to leaking oil filter. Curtis said it was something I did. I reported this to Midas, an employee said for me to come in and theyd top my oil off, once I turned around and showed up, Curtis declined adding oil to their leaking oil job.Today, I changed my oil....and realised that they put on the wrong oil filter, over threaded it and took forever to remove it. Ever since I went to Midas, the check engine light came on and now my coolant level keeps getting low.The oil change is posted at $54.99, I got a bill for $97!!!!! Ive never paid over $64 for an oil change on my Chevy tahoe

Beware public this place is not only a joke a rip off their Liars and they dont do the job that theyre scheduled to doGoogle should have an area to do minus Stars which mine would be 5!!!I schedule an appointment for oil change and tire rotation my first clue should have been when I pulled in and saw 5-6 junk cars in the parking lot.I sat there for an hour before they finally took my car in, (oh by the way they have six bays and only had two employees working) another 20 minutes someone finally pop the hood on my car lifts it and Im assuming they were draining the oil because at this point Im standing in the parking lot watching them. As I am Im reading the reviews like mine which I should have done before I set foot on the property at this point another guy comes over opens the passenger side of my car which later I found his greasy fingerprints on my seat. I see the original guy who started working my car go in the shop then it comes back jumps on his bicycle its gone about 15 minutes comes back he had to go out and buy an oil filter which he preceded put in my car this is another 20 minutes later.So at this point 2 hours later they pull my car out leaving it in the driveway without doing a tire rotation and I dont know what they did in the hood I go in the office and sit down as Curtis is either on the phone or just typing like a madman on the computer I set there another 10 to 15 minutes I finally got up because I wanted to get out of there and he says may I help you and I pointed to the clipboard which had my info and keys on it. So goes back to typing on the computer and print out another ridiculous amount of paperwork and I have to sign and date another four times then he has to sort it all staple at all I didnt dare say a word because the reviews I read he was hostile and angry and otjer stuff I just wanted to leave I paid the over price which is double of anywhere else grab my belongings and I left your precious VIP pass on the desk. According to their menu in the waiting room they not only supposed to check your fluids but theyre supposed to wash your windows and give your car a vacuum hell they couldnt even rotate my tires did he say a word no I was so concerned about my car by the time I got home I pop the hood they did not check any of the fluids and heres the funny part folks I found a drill driver left under the hood of my carI read several responses from the owner heres a response to the owner Try Staffing your business and cleaning up your parking lot. Get your employees to do the job that theyre supposed to do not just rip you off and do a half a job you are the worst experience of any service of any type that Ive ever had!!!! DONT BOTHER RESPONDING TO ME.Try paying more attention to your business because its PATHETIC!!!2hrs 20 minutes for an oil change and no tire rotation get a grip,BEWARE PUBLIC.I wish I could upload a picture of their Milwaukee drill driver underneath my hood.Going to another shop tomorrow to see what they might have messed up and have the work done that they did not do that they were supposed to do that I paid twice them out for.Anybody will write a positive review on this establishment is being suckered and being a fool good luck happy customers have somebody else check it out youll find out who youre being lied to

The guy that helped me was nice and friendly but the overall experience was terrible. I had made an appointment and that clearly didnt matter. It took THREE hours for a simple oil change! That is unacceptable especially considering the fact that I had an appointment. There are way too many places to go for an oil change in Napa for anyone to waste their time there. Also, I know its just a little detail but they didnt even put that little sticker on the windshield as a reminder for when to get my next service.

Worst shop i have ever visited. Never going back to a midas again. The truck i drove in to the shop it wasnt in the best shape but IIt ran, needed some work, some love and care. 5(five) miles from the shop the vehicle caught on fire, burned to the ground. It seems crazy, but the manager didnt take any responsibility for the accident. IT BURNED TO THE GROUND.

TERRIBLE place. Do not take your car here. The Midas in Napa is your last resort. After taking my car to them, my service light went on and started blinking. I was overpriced, the owner was rude and pushy. While I was sitting there waiting for my car to be taken care of, a man walked in furious because his car was not handled appropriately. I was waiting around hoping my car might be taken care of with better attention but with little luck. My car started shaking today, ( one day after getting it back from them), I have never had a shaking car problem.Do not trust this place at all. Do yourself a favor and take your car elsewhere.

Worse experience ever. Didnt do mi brakes right so the calipers got destroyed charged me fo new ones they did that wrong too were my truck was doing the equivalent of power braking that resulted on my transmission getting destroyed. The owner took zero responsibility to any of it and just blamed me. If you hate your vehicle and want to destroy it bring it to the Midas touch of death

I have a hunch Curtis is in this situation a lot, haha. just search for curtis in these reviews. some of the other reviews refer to it as him but we all know who he is. I wish I looked at the reviews here first!! Total red flag. Place might be okay if Curtis the manager wasnt there. Gave me the run around- called me back after refusing service with lower rates after i said no thank you. what he really wanted to hear was sure in any part of the phone call to charge me $150 for the flat mechanic fee. thats not even the worst part- I figured he got me for most of the cost might as well finish the repairs. Before I could finish Curtis cut me off defensively claiming theyre an honest shop and that they werent scamming anyone and if i dont like it theyll keep the car (who even brought up the word scam?). after that defensive response I let curtis know i was just considering finish the job. his attitude turned around but at that point I was sold on never going here again.

HORRIBLE! I took my car there to have the brakes inspected, after discovering their horrible reputation and the shops reputation of ripping people off, I told the manager I wanted my car back, he was very rude and pushy and was very rough pulling my car out then persisted to tell me that it felt like my brakes were going to the floor. That i a lie because my brakes have never once went to the floor. 100% application is where it should be. The manager will lie to you and rip you off and overcharge you! Even in last resort I would rather walk than take my car here to be repaired!

Had great customer service. They described and showed me what was going to be done to my car. They recommended to change my air filters, and showed me how dirty they were instead of just telling me. I was in a hurry and they asissted me right away. They said it was a 45 min wait but they were done in 30 min. They were generous to put plastic covers on the seats and a paper mat so they would not dirty the inside of the car. I recommend this place and will be back. Overall its fast service and quality work. Thank you.Ps. You dont have to ask for the Wi-Fi they give it to you up front. 👍

I took my car to Midas Napa.1 quel was bad so the engine was miss firing. I also had an oil change. After the oil change I have leaks.I told the owner that i have an extended warranty. He said warranty should cover the quells. Next day he called me back warranty does not cover the warranty.Because of oil leaks I took it to Bmw shop. They told me quells will be covered under the warranty. I end up calling my company. They told me Midas never called them, so they can only reimburse cost of one quell.Curtis the owner did not contact to the insurance company because he would not get approval for extensive work.Basically he ripped me off with extra work on my car that was not needed.Please take your car somewhere else.
