I recently moved to the napa sanoma lake county area and needed a great trustworthy mechanic for my audi q7. Derk and Jennifer and the amazing folx at selbach have been really good to me and my vehicle and have never just tacked on parts that werent needed. My vehicle is driving tip top, and they have a customer for the long haul, definitely recommend checking them out for your german car repair needs!

One of the most disappointing experience of my life. I dropped off my car to get worked on. During the course of waiting on a part that was ordered, that never arrived, so they said. My car was parked outside for a month unattended and got hit with damages the shop is not taking responsibility for. Do not take your car here they do not care for your property nor customer values. Sadly they have 5stars. I am definitely calling the better business bureau, and taking them to small claims court because this is not ok. I hope no one ever have to go through this.

Literally the best mechanic Ive ever had. Hands down! They are reasonably priced, will tell me what I do and dont need done, and are incredibly trustworthy. Most people hate going to the mechanical because it means spending thousands to fix your car. Well, if you want someone trustworthy, kind, and honest, trust Selbach. Every time I leave there Im surprised how little I pay compared to the dealer and I love supporting a small business. They are simply amazing to work with and I never leave feeling ripped off. Its a great feeling knowing you can trust someone with knowledge to tell you what you do and dont need. I will never take my cars anywhere else.

The times i have had work done on all of my vehicles, they have been very informative of my needs, did everything they could to save me money yet give 100% of their expertise in doing the job and more. The owners are very nice and great listeners. I would definitely use them again! Customer Service = A+++

We have had a series of Mercedes and lately Audi vehicles. While the dealers are always anxious to have the service business it has been our experience, they have journeymen and apprentices. That shows in their work product, and their “high prices”. Dirk has all the journeyman expertise and very reasonable prices. He also takes the extra steps to argue with the manufacturer about faults in a vehicle. He saved us hundreds of dollars with a Mercedes problem. I will never forget it.

Excellent service and best of all honest. I was traveling from San Diego and my brake light warning light lit up when I got to Napa. I found Selbach European Service online and they took my car in right away. The owner was kind enough to loan me his car while car was being repaired. He could of told me it was the brake light sensor and I did not need new brakes. He could of easily told me I need new brakes and I would have believed him. I highly recommend using Selbach for BMW repairs.

Its been a long time since I have experienced customer service like Dirk and his wife provided for me! So nice to have truly caring people that helped me deal with an odd circumstance just out of pure kindness. I have found Dirk to be a master at car maintenance! He has integrity and a warm smile. June is always ready to help you with an appointment. I always feel like my car is in the best hands and they arent gouging me with high dollar costs. I wouldnt take my car anywhere else.

They did a pre-purchase check on a BMW that I was considering purchasing... I was out of town by 3 hours. They took the time and effort to help me coordinate getting the vehicle and checking it prior to me coming to town.. I ended up buying the car due to the owner speaking directly to MY MECHANIC. And explaining things that older woman wouldnt understand. Great people to work with. Highly recommend this shop!

Had starter & thermostat replaced. June, was so sweet and nice as always. Dirk also pleasant. They make going to the mechanic, and shelling out a bunch of $, a tolerable experience! 😅 Never feel cheated. Never feel like any extra, unnecessary work is being done. Now my baby (car) runs great!

Visiting the mechanic is like visiting the doctor in a lot of ways. As simply put as possible if you want to be in the best hands, the staff at Selbach European is it. Standard oil change and brake job no problem, excellent service, and when its something worse you can count on them to give it to you straight in terms of options and at a deal too if you shop around. My VW and wallet thank you guys.

Selbachs is phenomenal! After several years of on and off relationships with mechanics in the area, Selbachs has restored my faith in the industry.
