This used to be our go-to grocery store (since our apartment was right across the street)… still pop in when in the area, primarily for the nice bakery breads (their sourdough, olive loaves, and roasted garlic breads are very good!) But they also have a better selection of produce than our local Safeway does (and better prices, for the most part, too)

Such a disgusting place. It smells like stale food and bad fish. Everything just looks bad.

Clean, great produce, and excellent customer service. Nob Hill always has what I want and need. It feels like a small town neighborhood market, but has the flair and style of a mainstream grocery store. Wonderful store!

Since covid started Ive only used curbside pickup which has been great. The shoppers do a fabulous job and Nob Hill has a good selection at competitive prices. I plan on using curbside a lot in the future.

Slowwwww checkout, worst I ever been subject to. Two checkers for anout 15 people lined up. One checker trying, no bagger, other checker not giving a damm, going slow as possible, kept checking the lineup, bagger came to help and he sent her to other checker who didnt need her at tub at point. DAMM glad I dont need this store very often. Btw other checkers were available, one closed down as lines were backing up

Nice clean shopping store, it had a pretty good selection of food and drinks for purchase. Great place that is not too far from downtown Napa and is on the way back from the vineyards if you want to grab some food for your room if you are visiting. The people were friendly and there was plenty of parking available.

The store was great got everything I needed, on the way to check outeven lift a finger to help. I lost a case of water from the bottom of my basket, they are heavy and awkward. I had some trouble getting it back in the bottom again. I fellow stocking the shelves was there he wanted to go down my lane he stood there watching me strugle wouldnt even lift a finger to help me. It didnt ruin my day, It could have been a little brighter knowing someone would help a stranger.

I have never shopped there before. But since I have moved into the neighborhood I decide to give it a try. Its not as expensive as everybody makes it out to be. In fact I found some very good buys there. And I will be going back. Have a happy New year

Wonderful cashiers and food selections.

This has been my favorite place to shop for years and during the pandemic it was great service for curbside pickup. Unfortunately, it has slipped greatly in the past month. We have had numerous errors in our orders, even after they called to discuss all the substitutes, and the produce we have received has been really bad. Many times we have had to call and complain as items were already spoiling when we unpacked them. The workers used to be top notch at delivering and assisting us--so much so that we would always tip them, but now they have no manners, and certainly so t go the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Maybe we just got spoiled early on, but we are so disappointed with this store recently.

Its the same as all stores. Busy as usual, but the lines arent long. I love the sandwiches from the deli. Yes you need a mask to enter...

The bakery makes the best whipped cream cake filled with strawberries. We go back every year for the birthday cake and this year ordered party trays. This was the best price and easiest thing to go for a party.

A varied selection of meats and seafood although the deli area seems to be half stocked very few selections of deli meats sliced to order.

One of my favorite grocery stores in Napa. Small and organized, I know where everything is. Good service.

Raleys, Bel-Air, and Nob Hill are all owned by the same company, but they still manage to have their own distinct personalities. Over my life, Ive had each of them as my neighborhood market. Nob Hill stands out to me. Recommend!

Not good at all the clerk that attend me wasnt very polite so I dont think Ill go back to this store from now on Ill rather go to Safeway there is more polite people there. Im very disappoint of your service that you offer to your costumers .

Great deli sandwich nice store to shop organic and fresh

I enjoy shopping at Nob Hill late in the evening during there challenging times. Very few customers in the store and stock levels still satisfactory. Staff is helpful and responsive.

Clean, orderly - easy to find items. Saved my Happy Thanksgiving by still having pie crust mix on the shelves!

At the times I have gone there have been few people there and everyone has been courteous. The shelves are stocked and there has been staff walking around the store disinfecting. Only issue I saw was a young man in the deli wearing his mask under his nose. I would have felt better had it covered his nose also. If it was a medical thing moving him from the deli with open food might have been a better option.

Kind of crowded which Id odd because plenty of supermarkets in area

I love this smaller version of Raleys. Easier to find what you want or need. Very friendly staff and easy to find someone to assist in finding things.

I ordered a sandwich there and the sourdough bread was rock hard. Cucumbers were bitter and tomatoes were not ripe. But I was mostly upset that when a gentleman not wearing a mask in the produce section was brought to the attention of a manager, her response was hes on the phone. I cant tell him to put his mask on. I called the store phone and talked to another manager but they said the company doesnt want them to say anything. Im never coming here again. Its not safe for the general public.

Better that a normal Raleys. Not anything special. I wouldnt avoid Nob Hill, I just wouldnt go out of my way.A lot of things were out of stock.

Of course have what I need, most of the time. But what I like most about it, is when walking out, the grocer always says thank you or have a good day/night or see you next time. Its the little things that count.

I feel like I over look the Nob Hill on this side of town. Its layout is a tad bit different, well a lot different than Raleys on the other side of town. Their service is outstanding, every, single time. They are always stocked, even on $5 Mondays (my fave!!). They have self check out and a little floral dept. by the registers. There are two entrance/exits. They also have a deli and bakery.

Angelica is the Lady who prepared two magnificent sandwiches for my friend and me. The bread was perfect and the tuna salad she used was some of the best Ive had as of late. I look forward to the next time and hope it will come with smiling faces for all to see. Thank you Angelica and Nob Hill. R Rugg

At a time when other grocery stores seem to be carrying fewer and fewer things, Nob Hill always seems to have what Im looking for! For a relatively small store, they seem to carry a more diverse selection of items than anyone else in town (better than Safeway, Raleys, While Foods, Target, or Lucky). I also love that Nob Hill has a more local, intimate feel and the employees are always so friendly.

The store is okay as is the parking lot on the east side, but the shoppers are nitwits, they walk around touching everything within their grasp and then put those items back in a different manner in which they were, all the while pushing their cart down the center of the aisle. Avoid the north side parking area its reserved for those that have a superiority complex and have other special needs that only a person like me would call out, they are the nitwitiest of all and keep the store from ever getting a perfect score.

Clean wide isles helpful friendly staff a tad pricey full service deli

A little bit out of my price range but i stop here once in a while to grab those chocolate croissants. Today i got new york steaks on sale so i decided to buy enough to last a few months. The butcher was nice and spoke english and spanish. He got me my very large order sliced and packaged to perfection in half the time he said it would take. Even loaded it in my cart! Thank you sir! He didnt even know i was handicapped, was just being helpful. Made my day!

Not only is this store fully staffed by diligently well- meaning people, the produce is arranged in a sensible manor, the aisles are clean, safety measures are taken seriously, the rewards membership is helpful, and the hours of operation make for a sigh of relief to anyone whose schedule cannot accommodate daytime shopping; let alone pandemic hours. Thank you Nob Hill for your local folk feel, and your tourism friendly vibe, for making a perfect deli sandwich and a miracle of a birthday cupcake, and having gorgeous flowers arranged artistically, and baggers/ cart patrollers who offer help all the time.

Always clean, always fresh produce and meats/seafood. The only complaint is that as far as the meats go, if its not on sale, a lot of times they wont have it. IE: ribeyes steaks, rib roast, lamb chops. Otherwise, love this store!

Theyre overpriced & they attempt to charge you for youre own wet wipes... that they dont even carry! Although, the rest rooms really are nice!

As always I do enjoy shopping there for the employees prices are a little steep but it is napa what can you expect.

I was able to get some of the things I wanted. They did not have any mushrooms and they only had one kind of beets, and no bulk ginger. Just packaged. They have limited produce. Good place to go for organic products.

I love this store normally but I sat at the meat Dept for 10 mins. Rang the bell twice @ 7:20. After I walked away I saw somebody walking around in back, so they were just ignoring the bell it was tonight,wed.

My go to grocery store. Well stocked, fresh fruits and vegetables. Only one issue. Need to train how to bag groceries and not get insulted when I ask not to put parsley at the bottom of my bag. Food is expensive and I want it to look good when I unpack it at home.

I love this place cuz they always have some great prices and the store is clean. They treat you very nicely and I find what I want.

I love this grocery store. Sadely, I was a Walmart shopper before due to pricing and the one stop shop aspect but the lines, people, quality just stressed me out. Nob Hill is the exact opposite. The staff is friendly and helpful, never long lines, I dont have to ring up and bag my own groceries and the prices are not high like you would expect! Some items are actually cheaper than Walmart! Its clean too!

Has so many unusual choices in every department & I know the deli has excellent pork roast slices, I had mine in a sandwich.

This small grocery store is my go-to in the neighborhood since its within walking distance. Its easy in and out, rarely crowded, and has a good selection of food and household items at fair prices, at least for California. The clerks are friendly and efficient.

Gave four stars because i really dont shop there a lot. Kind of out of my way. Angie and Tiffany are very friendly and helpful.

Great place for sushi grade fish. The salad bar is good, but a bit pricey for what you get.

Forgot my wallet, and the cashier was more than accommodating. They held my entire cart in the cooler while I ran home to get it, then checked me out immediately when I got back.

Very good grocery store. A free misses (mediocre bread, 90% of the lettuce is in bags) but a great general store with better than average produce and specially items.
