This is our second encounter with the amazing people at D&R Automotive. They are nothing but helpful, honest and accommodating with all our needs. The front desk receptionist was absolutely amazing with explaining to me everything that was happening and what they were doing to get it done right. My car was in an accident and it needed a lot of work done to it and Don the owner kept me up to date by email every step of the way. I will absolutely be back to this place. Friendly staff, excellent communication and honest work. Made a bad situation for us extremely easy and stress free. Thanks again D&R!!!

I usually don’t write bad reviews, but I feel like something has to be said about the lack of professionalism & friendliness at this shop. I got into a fender bender almost two weeks ago & my insurance company told me to get an estimate from this shop. I was at first happy about the recommendation because I live pretty close by, would make dropping off & picking up a lot easier. So I called to see about getting an estimate, the young woman on the phone was immediately annoyed with me. I don’t know if she was having a bad morning or something, but she acted like me asking for a simple quote was the biggest inconvenience. She interrupted me when I was trying to tell her about the minor damage to say “no. Sorry. We can’t. We’re overbooked” which of course I understand, businesses are crazy busy right now. I tried explaining to her that I do not expect to be taken in right away, that I can wait. It’s just minor damage & my insurance company is just wanting an estimate right now & she just refused to listen & kept telling me “no, we’re overbooked. We can’t even do that.” I asked if there was someone else I could speak to, like a manger or owner, she said no, that she is the only one on the phone & no one else is available. I gave up & just hung up the phone. I then had to call my insurance company & tell them that this shop basically refused to even give me an estimate, which was pretty embarrassing. If you’re looking for a friendly shop, look elsewhere. I don’t even know how this shop gets recommendations.

Was recommended by a family member to have some minor repairs done to my vehicle by this shop. The lady on the phone was super short with me and gave very short answers to my questions. She kept cutting me off and her tone was rather . She didnt seem to care or even want my business. The call was disconnected before I could even finish. Will be choosing someone else to repair my car

DNR is awesome theyve done my daughters cars in my vehicles as well very high quality place quick turnaround

I had one part replaced and painted but was not satisfied with the results. They took my car back and addressed complains and as as bonus repaired the bumper for no extra charge. Very polite and nice people

Repeat customer, Great people Great shop great work. My vehicles looked brand new. Worked well with the insurance company. & they dont use Garbage parts on why of y here work.

My wife took her car here, after her car was hit, while parked at work. She spoke with Don, who has exceptional customer service skills. We felt like our car was a priority. Our car was repaired fast and the car looks great! He was kind enough to handle all billing with the auto carrier. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.(Side note, my wife previously took her a car to a reputable auto body shop and her car sat for 2 wks, untouched). No one bothered to call us. We decided to try this auto body shop. We are so happy we did. Her car was in and out. Ask for Don, he will take great care of you. Good, honest guy. Hard to find these days. Thanks Don!

I would NOT recommend this place at all. I would give them negative stars if possible. I was completely scammed by this place after the accident that I got in. I kept finding items that seemed to be missing after they worked on my car and asked them about it and told them they have to fix it. Instead of working with me and apologizing and completing what they were PAID to complete, they accused me of getting into another accident. This was a complete lie and absurd that they thought it was because I got in another accident because there was no damage done. So I had my insurance provider come out and inspect my car and they found VARIOUS items that D&R was paid to replace and the insurance company documented that they didnt. They stopped responding to my provider and me and the only option I was left with was to go elsewhere and get this all fixed or spend even more money and sue them. There were also a number of items that were smaller and easy to miss that they didnt put on my car and just pocketed. In order to fix these small items I still had to pay $500 out of pocket to get fixed elsewhere. Because of how dishonest they were, this accident cost me $3,500 out of my own pocket and is still costing me money to this day.

Dont waist your time with this business. I took my car to D&R 2 weeks ago for an estimate. I was told that I would receive an email with details of the estimate. To date I have not received that email, or even a courtesy call. I was initially happy that this shop was very close to my home and would be very convenient. If this is any indication of how you run your business. I guess I dodged a bullet. I hate to see how long it would have taken to get my car back after repair. FAIL

Professional and efficient! My situation was complicated because I live in Wisconsin and my car got struck in IL by and IL driver. It was a frustrating experience dealing with the insurance end of things. The D&R Autobody team kept an open communication throughout the process and my Grand Prix looks new again. Frustrating situation handled very well :)

Horrible experience. They use glue for electrical components, my hood is on crooked, the paint is clipped and not applied correctly, the headlights are not installed correctly, NOW there’s water in them and, tripped my check engine light and...wait for it.... THEY “FORGOT” TO PUT THE EMBLEM ON MY CAR!!To top it off, they haven’t even contacted me to follow up. Worst experience EVER, the repair is a joke. Seriously laughable. Save yourself a headache and find a REAL body shop.
