We have made at least a half dozen purchases from Matter Bros and have always found the furniture to be quality and reasonably priced. Mark assisted with this purchase — very attentive and courteous. Tracey has helped us in the past several times — likewise quality service.
If I could offer zero stars I would. The company does NOT stand behind their products nor offers customer service of any kind. Be very careful in the items you select because if there is an issue, do not expect resolution. The arm padding under the leather of a chair costing over $1000 is clearly visible and Im told this this sometimes happens.... Not an acceptable response. Further I do not recommend purchasing mattresses as they will not allow a return if you dont like it. Tried to exchange for something more comfortable within 7 days and was told they dont do this and recommended we go buy a mattress topper.Learn from my mistake and go elsewhere. Furniture is too large an investment to buy from people that dont understand how to ensure the customer is happy so they keep coming back.

We purchased chairs based on their ability to deliver. We cancelled a trip to accommodate the delivery on the morning it was due they never called as promised and when we contacted them they carelessly informed us it wouldn’t be delivered as promised and told us to google delivery services. Outrageous disregard of customers and promises..

Im not even certain where to begin but suffice it to say we will not visit this store again. Please do yourself a favor and read multiple prior reviews before you commit to a purchase that results in more waiting and additional stress.A few months ago when we visited Matter Brothers for the first time, we ended up in an awkward position when our salesperson (very gracious lady) was accosted by another salesperson (a woman who said hello to us at the front but never followed up) over the transaction we had made. It was very evident that the woman who greeted us at the door (seriously, just a hello and that was it vs. the woman we worked with who was friendly and helpful) was quite upset and felt slighted over the sale she didnt close. We could very visibly tell she was angry because she kept following us around the store and staring at us once we began working with the helpful associate. I almost called management to discuss this uncomfortable situation after the fact but decided it wasnt worth the headache. However, it was very obvious a total drama show was about to ensue the moment we walked out the door.But the real issue is this: we ordered an entire suite of office furniture for our new home that was nearing the end of construction. Two separate phone calls after closing confirmed the two desks were in but the shelves were not. We figured we would save them two trips and requested they just deliver the desks when the shelves came in. We now have learned that the two desks are no longer in stock and that our entire purchase is now on backorder until at least May. The individual we spoke with has no idea what happened. (Her exact words, not ours.) Clearly, the items we paid for and were waiting on were given to someone else so they could make another sale.Needless to say, this practice of not holding furniture for a customer who has paid in full but waiting on other pieces for delivery is unacceptable and it was very clear to us this is exactly what happened. In other words, another customer ordered and COULD take delivery so we once again are on the back burner.We canceled the entire order and will never return or recommend this retailer. It seems as if only Robb & Stucky is the place clients can count on for exceptional service and honesty.
SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. We made the mistake of purchasing a bedroom set here and it was not worth it. They lack communication, and they are so disorganized. We got so many wrong mirrors delivered to our house too, they are just ridiculous. We purchased back in August, and we STILL havent received everything that we paid for......and in the store, the Salesman SAM said it was ALL in stock. Lies. Save your time, go to a reputable store.
Very disappointed in customer service. Ordered recliner in July and was told 10 weeks for delivery. We checked multiple times with the store, both in person and by phone, to assure delivery in September. We were given a definitive date in late September after the sales rep verified the date in her computer while we were in the store. When the chair had not arrived in early October, again we visited the store. This time the sales rep looked in the system and “ OOPS!! Sorry, never ordered”. Some issue with a new purchase order system. Very disappointing and no concessions for this major blunder. Not really even an apology. More like “oh well, you can cancel the order if u want” We have spent a lot of $ there In last 7 months and find the response to be offensive and the lack of attention to detail deplorable.
I was there for over an hour. No one would help me. I picked out a bed and was going to buy a mattress for that bed and another bed. But no one bothered to help me. They didn’t even bother to make eye contact with me. One man was helping a couple. Two associates were talking at the register and completely ignored not only me but other people who came in and got upset and walked out. Another sales associate was working with a woman who was bringing lamps into the store. Both of them ignored me too. No one had the decency to even say hello.

Terrible customer service. Asked for help. No one was able help but saw employees chatting among themselves. Many people not wearing masks, over 10 people (including employees) in a small and packed store. When I asked manager he said he can’t wear a mask due to health issue. He made no response to my complaint or knew (he said) about Collier County mask mandate. Worst place I looked for furniture or other household items. I am a nurse and would like to see employers care about their employees and customers. The worst! Will never go back.

Just picked up a nightstand that was shipped to the Naples store from another Matter Brothers location, and had an unpleasant exchange with a salesperson there because he refused to put on a mask after I asked him to do so. He said I dont wear a mask, I socially distance while standing 4 feet away from me. This behavior is irresponsible and must not be tolerated.Needless to say, I will not return there because I value my health over shopping convenience.
We purchased an electric bed and dining room table from the Naples store. The manager of the store, Richard, was outstanding. However, the table was damaged and looked like the delivery people rolled it down US41. The bed box came and was ripped. After numerous attempts to get these matters corrected they delivered the wrong replacement bed product and had to reschedule a delivery for the table and the bed. Further, the distribution center people were very uncooperative. It was a very upsetting experience and we will NEVER do business with Matter Brothers again.

It has definitely improved. Their prices have come down which is a really great thing! They have furniture that you can take with you too! No one wants to wait anymore! Good variety of furniture styles. Not top of the line quality but good enough. You can easily decorate your entire home.
Anyone in Naples knows there are sooo many furniture stores! We are new to the area and had been to several in one afternoon before spotting this one so we decided to pull in. We were immediately impressed with the selection and the salesperson who assisted us, Teresa. We left there with a lot of good information and some great ideas. When we got home, I checked reviews and I must admit that I was really apprehensive to do business with them because there are several bad reviews. However I also understand how reviews go - most of the time its the people who are really unhappy who write the reviews and a lot of happy customers simply dont take the time to write one. But the bottom line is Matter Brothers had what we were looking for....good quality at a fair price...so we decided to take a chance and we ordered A LOT of furniture. All of our furniture has now been delivered and from beginning to end, we couldnt be happier! Teresa was so helpful and patient with us while we were making our decisions. Once everything was finalized, the delivery was made within one week for all the items that were in stock and for those that had to be ordered (our sectional), she gave us a window of 4-6 weeks and it was delivered in week 5. The main office called the day before or the morning of with a 3-hour window for arrival and sure enough, the delivery guys arrived right on time. And they were awesome!! We were so impressed by how every piece of furniture was wrapped really, really well so there was absolutely no damage to anything. Then the guys did a great job on the pieces that needed assembly (the bed & sectional). They were efficient and cleaned up all the cardboard, wrap, etc. Please dont hesitate to give Matter Brothers your business. Our whole experience was top-notch! Not only was Teresa great but in the many times were were there, we also had contact with several other salespeople and they too were very helpful.
Terrible terrible terrible customer service. As soon as I paid for my furniture, they refuse to help with follow up customer service. Richard (supervisor) was my sales person. I had things delivered with scratches and broken. They were to reorder and send to me. It’s has been months and I had to call him 10 times to have him return one phone call just to have him tell me he has no information. Finally, I set up delivery today. No one came out. No one called. They didn’t care we sat around ALL DAY for them to come out. When I called the warehouse, they said they have never heard about putting me on their schedule. I am amazed that with how much was spent at the time of the purchase, Richard and Matter Bros. wouldn’t even return a call or follow up to fix their own errors. Disappointing. At this price point, I wouldn’t recommend using them because after they receive their money, they get amnesia and forget your name or issues they caused. They haven’t delivered the quality they promised at the time of the purchase . There are too many other furniture companies that will treat you with respect as a customer. I would NOT recommend this company for your furniture purchase with how their customer service has been!!! And from a supervisor!

We needed to buy furniture for our new place in Naples and went to at least 4 other stores. When we walked into Matter Brothers we had the best experience with Deb. Shes a designer, how helpful is that! She knows exactly what shes talking about when guiding us through our selections! She didnt give us her opinion unless we asked. She knew our price point and while talking to us was able to figure out the look we wanted. We are now so excited to get moved into our new place!
Busy furniture store loaded with inventory. We bought a leather couch that was fairly priced and got it delivered quickly. Helpful sales staff and not at all pretentious. Easy parking. Much bigger than it looks from 41.

My husband and I went in there on Saturday Aug 10th as we needed to furnish our whole house. We walked in and started looking around but furniture is packed in and hard to see. We walked up and down without anyone asking to help us. We finally decided to leave, two ladies walked in and were asked right away if they needed help. We were in there for almost half an hour and NO ONE asked to help us. We will never go there again and will make sure others know of our experiences in your store. Was our cash not good enough for you? So very disappointed.
This store is horrible. We ordered a couch and were told 4 weeks to delivery. Well here we are almost 6 weeks out and theyre telling us it will be another 2-3 weeks because the fabric was out of stock. Funny because I specifically spoke to Dee, the sales rep., about needing a couch in the 4 week time frame. So I selected a different fabric that she said was in stock. At 4 weeks I call to ask where my couch is after not hearing anything from the store only to discover once again the fabric is out of stock and she never once thought to tell me that when she placed the order. Or she ordered the wrong fabric. At this point I cant even tell because shes so flighty that she has me utterly confused as to what I even ordered. Basically, she wrote it up wrong and is now blaming me to cover her ineptitude. And good luck finding a manager. Ive called twice and been told he was unavailable and my husband went INTO the store and the manager was not there. Completely shady. Skip this store and move on. Furniture stores in Naples are a dime a dozen and have to be better run than this place.

While I didnt buy a lot of furniture from Matter Brothers, I did buy a new bedroom set that looked great in their store and even better in my home. I saw what I wanted, it was in stock, they could delivery it right away, when it was delivered the guys brought it in and set it up just how I wanted. All in all it was a great experience. Ill definitely go back when Im in the market for new furniture.

I was a former employee. My experience was so bad I couldnt even last the whole week. Literally threatened to sue this company for not receiving payment for 25 hours of work. 08/22/19 was the last day I worked, and still havent gotten paid(Its 9/19/19). When it comes to the merchandise, they buy off websites from different companies, then up charge the item, and put a tag that says cheapest price guaranteed. This company is a scam, to its employees as well as its customers. I hope you get shut down.
Bought a set of their expensive leather couches and leather chair, all three were electric recliners, didnt last a year. And when we finally called for service we were told they were over one year old had to deal with the mfg. That was a real run-around. The offered to send the pieces that were ripped but we needed to find a local company to repolster them. What a rip off for almost an $5K set. Never again, but not just for inferior furniture but for awful customer service.

Bought a natuzi sofa defective poor !!!!!! Quality went to the Naples store many times !!! With pictures and Richard the manager just full of B. S. And just strung me along no one contacted me and when they did send a repairman they didn’t no what they were doing ! I would never recommend you purchase any thing from matter brothers !!!!!!!!!
