It seems to me that the majority of items I looked at only had size S & M on the womans floor...weird! I went for tops, no luck. I was able to purchase capris. I can always find something at JCP! Store clean and sales ladies were all attentive and friendly.

While I was getting ready to check out. Carmen who was working in the Juniors department was so kind and helpful. I haven’t been to that JCPennys in over 5 years and they had new rules and regulations that I was not aware of. She was kind enough to help me anyways since she noticed I was in a hurry. I couldn’t have been happier with her service, plus she I formed me I saved money which was great also ! Thank you so much Carmen for helping me while I was rushing for my final project !

This is the first time in a long time that I see so many specials on the racks got a $60 dress for $36.00 after tax.

Well what can I say about JCPenney. I found the products I wanted and on discount, that was a plus plus for JCPenney. So I grabbed what I needed headed to checkout. And sorry to say I took 15 minutes in line waiting on 2 customers only before me they cashier handed the phone to 1 customer while the other customer lady was just lolly gagging having I dont know what type of problem with the other cashier. Now, 15 minutes is too excessive. So therefore. Only 3 stars.

Not A bad store, I dont shop here too often. But its nice a good amount of choices. The prices are not the best, but the quality of the merchandise reflects what you paid. So here you get what you pay for. This is a good thing, fair prices good merchandise.

The cashier is not customer friendly and not helpful at all. The store is not for senior that has problem with stairs, the escalator going down is not working making it hard to come down to fit (fitting room is closed temporarily- as per notice at entrance) and to pay. Not planning to come back anytime soon.

This Penneys in Plaza Bonita used to be really nice. It looks like a K-mart rummage basement now. In the ladies dress department. Now that they are restructuring. They really need to step it up to stay in business. I will continue to try and support them.🤷🏾‍♀️

Even before the Pandemic their quality and service was bad and has only gotten worse. I hope they can improve and work on their quality of service and products

Friendly employees. They are really good at making sure people dont cut lines (at least much better than other stores. Hint example: Target) Good prices and good sales if you can find them. Very good on the eyes. Store layout looks very classy. Very nice shoes there especially. Bathroom is well kept. Very good store.

The clearance racks are THE BEST!!!! If theres something that you like but, you dont or cant pay full price for it, wait until it goes on sale!!!! Granted, were beastly when it comes to shopping here but its so totally worth it!!!! I find name brand items for next to nothing sometimes!!! And they have promotional sales too! Become a rewards member, youll be glad you did!!!

I have always loved pennys. When all attempts to find exactly what Im looking for I know coming here is a plus. As far as customer service when approached they assist. Its just a different approach. Less hands on than what it use to be. Colder sterile atmosphere with customer service. Its too bad that this has occurred. But I love shopping here. Parking is free

Its unfortunate these brick-and-mortar stores are slowly going away but this is a classic example of why. Its very difficult to find help.. and when you do the staff has zero clue of the things they sell in their own store. I actually had one of the managers suggested I buy another brand on Amazon....their direct competitor. and explain that at least on Amazon if you dont like it you can return it because here at JCPenneys we wont take the return...wow???.The only positive about this location is theres barely any customers in there and barely any staff....so you have the whole store to yourself...if you and your significant other want to get busy in the mattress section... no one would ever know.....classic.

Went here to get a present for my dad.We got a nice red long sleeved pullover that is knitted quite nicely for a cold weather for $10. We also got a white polo shirt for $12.Reasonably good prices, but I was expecting a bit lower prices here since its supposed to be a super sale season when we visited..

Used their photagraphy department. Staff are friendly and listen to your wants. We had a group of 12 and it went smoothly. We were able to view our photo session digitally within 5-10 minutes after the shoot. With the option of purchasing the photos digitally, we are able to take them to any vendor to print the photos...wonderful option.

Most of the time, it looks like a bomb went off in here. Between the mess, bad to no parenting, and screaming children, youll definitely need a good mantra. The employees never have a moment to help you. If you have a question, you might be lucky enough to have one plow right through you, getting from one of their destinations to the next. Then at least it might slow them down, so that you may ask your question.

Worst customer service. Never able to find an associate. Only 2 people working returns & its just after Christmas. I worked retail for 20 years, i never knew it could take so long to do a return. Maybe on the biggest return day of the year put someone a little more experienced on returns.

Just ok. Employees are over worked. They look so over it.The feeling of being overwhelmed starts immediately upon walking in. Just too much stuff. They need to scale back a little and have a good visual marketer reformat the layout.Seems a little disorganized. The way they price items is confusing. Having to use my discount calculator sucks.Yes, Im that lazy when I go shopping. Its suppose to be a fun activity and it ends up being a stressful outing with the hubby. We almost always end up bickering after leaving here. Never happens when we go to The Rack. Just saying.

Checkout line is forever long. Employees walking by just looking at long lines but not getting on a register to help. One lady asked where she should go for her online order and the cashier told her that way without pointing and then the lady asked where? And the cashier just said up there. The lady walked off upset and said thanks, that was not helpful. also all the signs for the bras say buy one get one 50% off and that you couldnt miss in match any style our brand but when I went to go pay and it did not take off 50%. I cant pay $70 for two bras. I ended up leaving with one. JCPenney as a whole is a great store but this location is not the best. Maybe its just because its Chula Vista 😶
