The Crossing is the most welcoming and inclusive community I have had the privilege of joining. A home away from home, the people are genuinely caring and I immediately bonded with the Campus Minister and Executive Director. Cannot suggest a better campus ministry!
I am so blessed I stumbled upon The Crossing as a student here at UW Madison. They have welcomed me into their space whole-fully and lovingly, as well as provided a supportive environment where I can continue to grow in my faith. This place has become my new home away from home and Im so thankful for everything they have done for me
Free coffee, occasional mostly tasteless (chicken and beans?) frozen meals. It seems like the Executive Director sits at her desk crying all day, thinking of programs for people. Its really kind of a depressing place. Laugh with the sinners cry with the saints I guess. (good, glad youll try harder for ALL students sake).
The only church that hosts other UW-Madison Student Organizations like Slow Food. Convenient location right in the middle of campus. Evening services for those who cant make morning services like other churches. Anyone & everyone is welcome here. Need I say more?
Crossing is a wonderful place to explore your spiritual belief. Come and meet other fellow students along the way to pursue your inner peace.
My first night in Madison I came to the Crossing - I was welcomed warmly into a community of spiritual exploration. I have been a regular at the Centering Prayer Circle every week for three years!
When I went to The Crossing for the first time I felt so welcomed and I have felt that way ever since. The presence of compassion and fellowship is very strong.
Offers various opportunities to the community by arranging events, supporting student initiatives, and inviting guests to speak in the space.
Great staff, compassionate, open-minded Christian people can be found here.
An excellent place for spiritual growth with a diverse and welcoming community!
A nice venue, but needs more lighting for performances.
Ive been going to The Crossing for some time now and have always felt welcome! The people here are open-minded, kind, and a pleasure to be around.
Beautiful space!
