Had work done previously by Fred it was great! Then our cart was wrecked several months back and Fred assured us he could fix it. After trying to get it fixed and no returned messages I was able to contact Fred who said Zach would contact us which didn’t happen. Tried to reach out again still no reply??? It truly makes me sad as we had referred multiple people to him.

Was having issues with my 2017 EZGO TXT. Dropped the cart off at Comal Golf and Battery. The next day Zack called me and stated I needed new batteries. The FLA batteries in this cart lasted about 5 yrs. I had 2 options, replace with FLA batteries or Lithium. I spent the extra cash and got the lithium. No more of the problems associated with lead acid batteries. They also reprogrammed the controller and this thing flys 27MPH. The battery weighs 73lbs. and is about the size of 2 lead acid 8 volts. These guys are great and love what they do. Thanks again.

My mother’s golf cart stopped working and she called Comal Golf and Battery because my dad had originally purchased it there over a decade ago. She was hoping to get the same owner, but learned that the business had been sold. Fred talked to her. He explained the sale of the business, his goals and that he wants to take care of the customers. He made a home visit for her and fixed the cart without ever taking it off of her property. She went on and on about how nice he was, how quickly he responded and that she will always keep her business with him. Thanks Fred! I hope people see what a great business you have.

This place is THE best place to go for all your cart needs! Fred and Zack will get you taken care of for sure. If you have an electric cart, I highly recommend you check into getting a Lithium battery from them. It is simply AMAZING. Crazy long range per charge, lighter, charges faster, no maintenance and 100% worth the money. Don’t wait, go get one! Haha

I went to this place looking for some help and advice and get some parts for a rebuild Im doing, the guy didnt want to answer any questions all he wanted me to do is bring him the cart so he could do the work.I definitely wont be going back what a waste of time

I had a unique issue to solve with an old golf cart and he did everything he could to make it work. He sent me a picture of the final product and it was perfect. Our charity organization rented two golf carts for the weekend from Comal Golf and Battery. First off, we paid ahead of time with plenty of notice of the event date. Upon arriving to pickup the two golf carts, turned out the ones the owner prepped for us ended up getting loaded and taken to another event. Next thing you know he is scrambling in the back of the property trying to find us two golf carts that have not been prepped nor maintained. The first was so underpowered it could not make it up the driveway at the event, and had the headlight wires cut so we had to run it where we could while holding a flashlight. The second had a very bad smell coming from the engine and ended up dying the same day we picked up (Friday).I call the owner Saturday morning in hopes that they can come out and repair the issues on both golf carts. Go figure no one answers the phone, which is fairly normal, and I end up leaving a voicemail. I attempted to call 3 times that day with no return phone call. I ended up sitting on one dead golf cart and another halfway dead. Upon dropping off both golf carts Monday, and explaining what happened, I asked that the owner at least refund the organizations money for the one dead golf cart. He and his mechanic quickly throw a multimeter on the battery which showed 11.8 volts, and try to BS me with the battery doesnt have enough voltage, jumps it off with a good battery, and blames one of my people for leaving the golf cart on. Anyone with any background in this area knows that starting up a vehicle with a battery involves cold cranking amps, not voltage. This battery was also far from new, and he told me that if he had made a run out to the event, he would have charged me a delivery charge for his trip, rather than actually having good customer service and repair his already broken down golf carts.If I could give zero stars I would. Extremely poor customer service on all fronts, stole from a charitable organization and our beneficiary. Will never do business with these guys again!

Prices a not realistic. Prices for used carts are a few dollars less than new carts. Sales people not very friendly. Stay away

Chris is a great mechanic and Art was friendly, they are great guys and they helped me out with my 8 seater golf cart.

Larry, Fred and their crew are some of the most helpful and respectful people Ive ever met. They took my old EZGO marathon in that has been sitting for almost a year and got it running within an hour. I drove all the way from SeaWorld and 1604/portranco area to come get work done from these guys and it was well worth it. Will be doing business with them in the future for sure! Id highly recommend them for all golf cart work!

I have been trying to contact this business for about a week now about a golf cart. They never answer or return any of my phone calls. Horrible customer service ever since Larry sold the company.
