I finally ordered some ice cream from Tipsy Cow in San Marcos, Texas. Ive been waiting a long time to try it. It was worth the wait. Its so damn good. I got the 2 scoop with Banana 🍌 Foster and Kahlua Almond Fudge. You can actually taste the liquor in the ice cream. I cant wait to try the other flavors.

Always a treat to have Tipsy Cow ice cream, New Braunfels. So far we’ve had chocolate, cookies and cream and strawberry sorbet, they are so delicious and better than any ice cream place. I recommend trying the sorbets. The staff is always friendly and the scoops very generous

Ever since we found this Ice Cream shop in the summer, we’ve been coming at least twice A WEEK lol. Usually I never crave ice cream, even though I have a huge sweet tooth, but I honestly can’t ever get enough of how yummy all the selections are. Both adult flavors and kid-friendly flavors are amazing and SOO CREAMY.They change up their flavors with each new season/month while keeping their super popular flavors at all times.They are family owned and each employee is so nice.We really hope they stay forever, otherwise, I wouldn’t have anything exciting to look forward to after a long day LOLPs, don’t be afraid to recommend a flavor combo that you think others may like!

My son treated me to this amazing little place! Best shakes ever with a twist...liquor! My favorites so far; the Banana🍌Foster, Kahlua Almond fudge n virgin Chocolate brownie! Not all flavors are infused with booze. They have a lot of family-friendly flavors. I enjoyed my rocky road even tho it was missing marshmallows. My wife liked her fudge flavor. Single scoops are generous.

Alcohol is well blended...Highly recommend the Vanilla Bourbon Brown Sugar...and the Butter Brickle is AMAZING! I liked the Banana Foster, but not a fan of cinnamon liquors, but if you cinnamon and bananas.... DONT HESITATE! These flavors really compliment each other. Cant wait to try more flavors!

Pricey but good. The booze is there, but not overpowering. Very accommodating for a large family with two small children (They told us about their back patio in the shade).

Great ice cream with adult version options!

The prices are the way they are because of the alcohol mixed into the ice cream. If I remember correctly, they make their own ice cream. Therefore, the prices fit the taste. I am from out-of-state and highly recommend coming to this store. I love visiting Texas and this is one of my stops usually.

Th ice cream is good. I had a chocolate with fudge pieces. I thought the selection was small for an ice cream parlor and thought the ice cream was okay. I think a Ben and Jerrys may be just as good if not better.

They have the creamiest ice cream and have ice cream for adults with alcohol like rum in it. They also have non-alcohol for kids. I wish they had more room to sit there and enjoy your ice cream, but you can sit outside and enjoy it.

All of the ice creams were delicious. I like that they had tables set up outside for you to sit and enjoy your treat. We could have been in and out faster if there had been some write-up that explained what was in each flavor of ice cream. That took some time for us to ask what was in each adult flavor since sometimes it wasnt clear To Us by the name. Otherwise, cute name, cute concept, and yummy ice cream

Loved the bananas foster ice cream. Tested just like when I make the real thing. Southern pecan pie was also good.

I can’t tell you how many times I go here and it’s closed. I love this place so much but it’s so annoying the last five times I’ve tried to go here I’ve actually had ice cream twice. Other three times go to jack in the box down the street and get a milkshake. Wish the owner would commit to running it instead of looking to sell..

Great ice cream and good tasty flavors. This was our second time here and we wondered why we waited this long to come back. Staff/owner is very nice, friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere to relax and have a scoop. We had the last of the snickerdoodle and a scoop of the lemon cheesecake. Both were great choices! Cant wait to try the other flavors

We tried the Baileys Salted Caramel, banana nut and the grasshopper pie flavors and they were excellent. Two adult cups, two scoops a cup, were very filling and delicious. The ice cream was creamy she didnt leave that dairy after taste like other ice cream can sometimes do.

Adult ice cream, cant go wrong with the amazing flavors here. They also have normal ice cream so kid and adults can enjoy it.

I hired Tipsy Cow for my wedding night, we are big on ice cream. It was a perfect treat for everyone. All of our guests couldn’t stop complementing all the ice cream flavors. Mike did a wonderful job! I definitely recommend Tipsy Cow for any special event. We will definitely be stopping by in the near future. Thanks again!

The ice cream at Tipsy Cow comes in two versions, adult and kid friendly. The adult ice cream has alcohol added and the kid friendly does not. Both types are so incredibly rich and delicious, you wont be disappointed with whichever side of the menu you choose from. Pictured below are the sangria sorbet (so super light and refreshing on a hot day) and brown sugar bourbon vanilla.

I had the dairy free chocolate ice cream. The taste was ok. The staff was really kind and helpful. Sprinkles are included with the ice cream. Cone is an additional up charge. My 20 month old daughter ate the ice cream very fast and would not share. She loved every bite. She said ice cream good! She is a picky eater. I am glad we found a desert she loves.

Two trips to Tipsy Cow and both have been great. Service is quick and they have a good amount of options for both adult ice cream and kid ice cream. Limited to 2 samples but thats OK with me. They also do shakes. My girls love it and my wife is a fan of the alcohol ice cream. We will be coming back.

Really loved out trip to the Tipsy Cow Ice Cream place. Service was great and there was a huge selection of flavors for both adults and kids. Getting the flight of 4 different flavors was amazing.

Awesome place for some adult desserts! The Baileys Salted Carmel was delicious. The alcohol wasnt over powering, but a nice added taste. There is outside seating in the back and front. The back seating is accessible from the checkout counter.

Wish I could review the San Marcos location but the ice cream was fabulous! Both my wife and I were ecstatic with how good it was. It was pricier than we typically pay for ice cream but would happily pay again! Customer service was excellent as well even on a slower night!

This is the best ice cream I have ever had. The Cookies and Cream is amazing, and so is the Red Velvet and Cookie Monster flavors. I have not tried other flavors, but my family and friends all loved the flavors they got. I heard the Vanilla Bourbon is pretty good (that has alcohol in it, so dont get it for your kids. But it was interesting to see alcohol infused-ice cream). We usually go when we visit Buc-ees, and it is a delicious treat. The staff are always amazing, and the owner was very nice, too. People may say it is pricey, but you get SO much ice cream if you get a cone, so the value of ice cream to price if you get a cone is amazing. Please visit this place over some stupid Cold Slab Creamery or Baskin Robins, this is so much better than both, and help a small business out during COVID-19, where times are tough for small businesses.

Reviewing on behalf of San Marcos (same owners I think so this should be a reflection of both stores. My fiance and I come here a lot and try the alcohol-infused ice cream. They have a tiramisu that is my favorite ice cream Ive ever had and I hope it becomes a regular flavor! Great service and always delicious options.

Nice new idea! We tried the board with 5 flavors, all very very good. Its mainly a way to taste test as they offer none. I felt although the ice-cream was very very good that the size of the portions is extremely small for the price, about $5.00 per scoop. With that being noted I confess, I will return, 1 scoop is plenty for me!!!!! Please try this place, it is very tasty!

I always try to stop by here when Im in New Braunfels. The ice cream is great and they rotate out different flavors. Its very creative, definitely stop here.

You have to go to Tipsy Cow this place is a total must! The concept of boozy adult flavored ice cream along with kiddo friendly flavors is great! The owner Mike really knows his stuff, the ice cream has an amazing texture and an out of this world flavor. Im currently hooked on the Grinch flavor they have along with the Baileys Salted Caramel. I recommend getting a flight, you get to pick four flavors all individually scooped into their own cups and served on a wooden plank, that way you get a little of this and a little of that because trust me its really hard to pick just one flavor, they are that amazing!

This was my first time visiting this establishment, and I was SO happy I stopped in. As the name implies, they offer ice cream with alcohol (they also offer non-alcoholic). ALL of the ice cream is made in house. I honestly couldnt pick an ice cream flavor because they all sounded SO good, so I ended up getting a flight! I cant remember the variety of what I ordered, but I was so happy with every flavor. The texture of the ice cream is what really made it delicious. It was thick and creamy and I savored every bite! Ditch the chain ice cream parlors and give the Tipsy Cow a try!

It is for good reason Tipsy Cow has been voted best ice cream in New Braunfels! My husband got the Baileys Salted Caramel and I got Reese’s Peanit Butter cup, and both were so creamy and flavorful. The peanut butter cup was chocolate ice cream with pb cup chunks—normally I don’t love chocolate ice cream because it tends to be so rich, and probably wouldn’t have picked this flavor if I’d realized it was chocolate. But it was the PERFECT amount of chocolate-richness. Wish we lived closer so we could visit frequently, but if we ever pass through New Braunfels again we will most definitely be back.

I loved the pecan whiskey ice cream by far my favorite. I’ve recommended many friends to try this place. Affordable and unique. I love how they will let you buy ice cream pints to take home and the flight of ice cream instead of beer is such and adorable idea(the flight size portion is generous)

Placed a curbside order on 4/14. Hubby picked kahlua almond something, I picked southern pecan, and kiddo picked birthday cake. All were pretty spectacular. Service over the phone and in person was friendly and warm. If youre looking for a local business to support during the COVID apocalypse, please share the love with these guys!

Awesome little hole-in-the wall ice cream shop! Their adult ice creams are well-made and delicious without overly leading the ice cream with alcohol. With their flights, it gives you the option to sample their ice cream and was perfectly shareable between two people. They also have kid-friendly ice creams so the kiddos can enjoy ice cream with the adults.

Every time I come to San Antonio or New Braunfels from Houston I make a stop at Tipsy Cow. It is a must!! They have THE BEST ice cream around. I wish they would open a location in Houston! We love coming here! The shakes are really good as well.

Modern. Big city feel to it. Extremely small establishment, so not more than a few seats inside, the rest outside. Limited menu. There is an adult menu with alcohol infused ice cream. I stuck to regular ice cream. Tastes just like regular ice cream. 🤷🏽‍♀️ you could go to Baskins and pay less.
