Walking into this place was like a breath of fresh air. Immediately upon entry we were greeted and helped to order. This place felt so out of place tho, it seemed like it should have been in a ritsy marketplace. It was a complete shock. We were just trying to find a unique dessert place and it was so beautiful we felt underdressed lol. This would be a perfect place to celebrate an anniversary or a formal event. We absolutely loved it and wish there were places like it near where we are from. To say the place was clean is an understatement. The food was absolutely incredible! Crepes are an absolute delicacy!

Wow - Easily a 5 star stop! You gotta make a trip to ZenZero when youre in town.I finally found a place that can make a proper coffee. There was an incredible selection of gelato flavors that werent overly sweet and so fresh. There was indoor and outdoor seating options and the service was fantastic. We will definitely be back as often as possible to explore more of the menu.

Love this beautiful place in New Braunfels to stop in for a quick bite to eat and delicious gelato. The owners are so nice and friendly. The place is fresh and clean. Crepes both sweet and savory are so tasty and generous in portions, as is the gelato. Try the Napolino crepe. Their gelato is so fresh and natural great flavors plus dairy-free options, try strawberry and mango gelatos, they are so good. And generous scoops. Stop by for a quick pick me up or meet up with friends for coffee and crepes.

Great place for people who are hungry but want to eat small. Coffee is good and crepes are good. Clean place and the people there are nice and caring. Good customer service I say. I wish they were open in the mornings but I think because of Covid they wanted to shorten their hrs. Anyways, give this place a try. They have fresh foods

We wanted to help and support localy own small business while we were in New Braunfels visiting so we stop at Zenzero. Great selection of Gelatos. Very tasty and the Crepes was very good also. Place is small and very cute.

Zenzero is always a winner! We planned an outing when family from out of town were visiting. We ordered for everyone and packed it into an ice chest and drove straight to meet the group at the park. It sure hit the spot and everyone loved it!

I’ve never heard of this place before. We had an hour to kill so we stopped in to try the gelato. Great selection of flavors and the staff were awesome. We’ll definitely have to stop by next time we’re in the area to try their crepes.

Zen zero has become one of our favorite spots in the community. All of the food is great and we especially love getting a cappuccino. Best of all are the owners! Awesome people doing what they love and loving people as they do it.

I really like this place. Gelato isnt something Im willing to spend the money on often, but next time I want gelato, this is certainly where Ill come to for more. The decor is cute with little paper cranes on every table, and the employees were so kind. They were also open to giving many samples for someone as indecisive as I am. Everything was so good, it was hard to decide! I got a simple cone, but my friends got a sundae and some spaghetti gelato. The spaghetti is so adorable!! Its just gelato pressed through a mold with I think strawberry sauce and grated white chocolate on top.Overall, great experience. Everyone loved what they got. Ill know where to go next time Im craving some unique and tasty gelato flavors.

The customer service was good they were very polite! The menu has a variety of items to choose from and the store looked clean and very neat.However, the crepes were not my favorite. It felt like I was chewing paper or a thin tortilla, and I was expecting it to be softer and fruits inside—but to my surprise it was just caramel (which tasted bitter to me) and laid fruits on top of the folded crepe, I was expecting more considering the roaring reviews I had seen online before coming in. I wish I could say more good things, but it was very disappointing.Best of luck to you!

Zenzero is an awesome gelataria. Very nicely designed and very clean. Gelato is amazing and authentic. The Illy Cafe products are a great pairing with the delicious Gelato.

Im a picky eater... strictly a straight up meat and potatoes type of guy. Im not one to deviate when it comes to food, and that includes dessert. Specifically, ice cream. I grew up with Blue Bell ice cream and Ill probably die an old man with a bowl of Blue Bells Vanilla ice cream with chocolate syrup. I abhore yogurt, and I especially hate all other ice cream brands except Blue Bell. My sister is totally the opposite..she loves everything except pepperoni. She is also gluten intolerance which forced her deviate from Blue Bells and search for a new type of dessert. She found gelato ice cream and absolutely raves about it. 2 years later, I finally try some.. and sure enough, it was definitely delicious. Good texture, good taste, and a gift that keeps on giving til the last bite. The owners are awesome and literally treat the guests as if they were friends that have known each other for years. They take cash, card and utilize an equipment similar to Square which ago..so takes NFC payments. Stop by and find your favorite flavor.. variety of flavors are continuously swapped out to provide good rotation of choices.

Great establishment, the owners are so nice and willing to help you be satisfied. Even if its not kn the menu they will still try to make it if they can. I cant express enough that you should go experience this little piece of Italy. Thank you so much. Its like a gem hidden in New Braunfels.

I can’t believe we haven’t stopped by sooner! It’s like a little slice of Italy in New Braunfels. They serve illy coffee which some of the best there is! This will definitely be a weekly visit for us now :)

ZenZero Gelato is amazing! Fresh small batch gelato in varying flavors. The strawberry, vanilla bourbon, pink lemonade, Aztec chocolate, and frutti de bosco flavors that myself and friends had were unimaginably flavorful! As was the crepe we had. I would recommend anyone who’s visiting New Braunfels, or any locals looking for a sweet treat to visit ZenZero for their gelato, sorbet, espresso, coffee, or crepes.

I gestured at the man and woman working the counter but they just looked at the kid and ignored it.The gelato was actually good, but they deserve to go out of business for the way they handle health and safety.

We had the black pearl which is dark chocolate with rum, and a strawberry. Delicious pieces of fruit in the strawberry and great flavor and texture of both. Rich and creamy, refreshing and delicious! Highly recommend

Best Gelato I have had in the area! It really taste authentic! I love their coffee drinks because they arent just sugar bombs. I just hopped they were a little hotter sometimes because you have to drink them straight away so they dont get too cold. The service is always on point at this place, always so friendly and helpful!

Owner is very personable and from the Italian border so the options and spirit of the place were authentic to the gelato although it seemed too sweet for my taste. I enjoyed supporting a local option rather than corporate chain store. Appreciated the WiFi and electrical outlet to use during my virtual meeting.

In addition to enjoying their delicious gelato, we often come here for lunch on the weekend. We have enjoyed their savory crepes, soup, and antipasto salad. We also stop to have a velvety cappuccino before heading the HEB. It makes the chore of shopping for groceries something to look forward to. The owners are kind, friendly people who take pride in their business.

This place is amazing! The owners are super friendly, their customer service goes above and beyond most family owned places. I’ve been to Italy and this place takes me back to that hole in the wall gelato stand where my husband and I got our 1st taste of authentic gelato. Heavenly gelato! They change out flavors daily and each one we have tried has been scrumptious! Their coffee and lattes are just as good and they do offer dairy free alternatives for those of us that dont do dairy. As a plus, the owners are such nice people and you can tell they absolutely love what they do.

My favorite ice cream and gelato spot in town! Everything is fresh from the Crepes to the waffle cones. More seating area than Tipsy Cow or Scoops and enough room that my father can drive his handicap scooter and park it at the table. Very friendly folks! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My husband wanted to try this place. It was our first time here and I walked in under the impression I more than likely wouldnt get to have anything considering I dont eat or drink dairy products. I was surprised to find out they have 4 options of dairy-free ice cream and a few options as popsicles. My favorite was the lemon.

Was in New Braunfels on vacation with my boys. We googled ice cream near me and lucked out on this place. We all loved it and came back the following day as well. I had the Acai and it was light, subtle, and delicious. The kids chocolate and cookies and cream. It was nice to experience gelato, and nice to visit a family run operation.

This is our favorite sweet treat in town. The handcrafted flavors are ever changing, always wonderful, and the owners are friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. Love love love this place!

The Gelato is good but I am crazy about the cappuccino! The carry Illy coffee (my favorite for cappuccino) and the husband /owner makes a perfect espresso cappuccino. The husband and wife team are so delightful, personable and friendly.

Flavor selections are so nice with variety every time. They also make great pastries, croisants, and crepes. You can get the best cup of Illy Espresso in town.

My wife and I went to Zenzero on Independence Day and met the co-owner, Emma, who was so nice and told us the story of how Zenzero was started by her and her husband. I wasn’t really wanting gelato, because I really wanted ice cream, but I was so happy we came here! Best gelato in Texas. All hand-made with care and excellence.This is not a chain despite how polished the branding looks.
