I just have to say how grateful I am to have purchased a Harley from Eric and Gruene Harley Davidson. Eric, by far, is the best in the business. He was so helpful, down-to-earth, and quite honestly, when I left I felt like a made a friend. He has since kept in contact just to see how I am and how things are going. Thats top notch customer service. Owning the heritage Softtail has been life-changing for me and my wife...literally. Life is too short to not own a Harley, and time is too precious to bother looking somewhere other than Gruene Harley!
On 10/13/21 I brought my 2014 Ultra Limited for brakes issues. Service writer was great and got my bike in right away. Even gave me tips as to where to go for great coffee. As I knew it needed, they diagnosed the bike as having warp rotors and needed front pads too. Replaced it within a few hours and I was good to go. Being that I am new to the area and as I waited for my bike, I got to meet Eric the salesman and when asked, even gave me a good info as to where to buy a wave runner the name of a salesman to talk to. Told me to see other salesmen first and then see his recommendation. This will be my local service place from now on.

Sales team did fine, I bought my bike in 2018, and I now just put my fourth exhaust on it at another shop. And found out every issue with my exhaust breaking in two was from this repair shop not finding the broken in two mounting bracket. Either they knew about this and ignored it to have me keep coming in. Or they lack the skill to notice as mechanics when it was a constant issue. Either way had to burn through my good faith warranty on the bike and spend money on faulty work. Buy a bike here, but get it serviced elsewhere is my suggestion
I simply can’t say enough about the entire staff at GHD!! Every single employee has been incredibly welcoming, helpful and it’s a direct reflection of exceptional customer service. I would like to directly compliment Eddie and Zack in the Service Department. These two CONSISTENTLY stay in close contact during servicing and are as honest as it gets. Bought a 2020 freewheeler, sales people went out of there way to make me a good/fair deal on my trade in. Im in the process of up grading from a stage one to a stage two. The parts department was great to work with and the service department was very professional. When I go to Gruene Harley Davidson I feel like its home.
Bought a 2019 Road Glide from Aaron. Wasn’t pushy, didn’t try to sell me something that I didn’t want. Very nice, straight up and straight foward. I’ll definitely buy from him again. I had 2 bad experiences with Gruene Harleys service department this year. The first time my 02 trike was in the shop for a month and the problem was not fixed. The second time it was there 4 months and, although the original problem was rectified, it came back with several issues that did not exist when it went it the shop. I wrote two negative reviews, one after it spent the 4 months sitting in the shop and a second one when the new problems surfaced.The new service manager, Michael Ray, contacted me on August 21st, told me the general manager had forwarded my review(s) to him and directed him to contact me about them. Michael was friendly and asked me to bring my trike in and give them to opportunity to make it right. I was skeptical about returning to this dealership but decided to give them another chance based on the service department having someone new in charge.I dropped my trike off on Wednesday, the 25th, with a promise that it would be in the shop no later than Friday. Michael and I also discussed the fact that I was planning to attend a bike rally starting on 16 September and needed it back in time to do a couple of other thing to get it ready. Because my wife is recovering from surgery and cannot drive one of the shop employees was detailed to drive me home to San Marcos.Michael kept me informed of the status of the repair process on a regular basis. Some of the parts had to be tracked down and bought from another dealer causing some unavoidable delays. When he called me on the 15th of September to let me know that it was done and ready for pick up I was already loaded up and ready to leave on my trip a day early. At this point I wouldnt have had tome to get the other things I needed to take care of done. Michael offered to have it trailered up to me immediately but I told him not to and I would contact him when I returned.I called him when I got back home on the 22nd and he had my trike delivered to me the next morning. I had time to take it out for a shake down run that afternoon. All of the issues have been taken care of and I couldnt be happier. As long as they have a service manager of Michael Rays caliber I will not hesitate to have Gruene Harley Davidson work on my trike and highly recommend them to anyone who owns a Harley!

Wanted to thank all the good folks at Gruene Harley Davidson, especially Eric Pena. I visited Gruene just to check it out. Being extremely new to the riding scene I had a lot of questions. Eric took the time to answer them all plus let me know some stuff about bikes that I didnt know or would have thought of to ask. After showing me some bikes in my $ range I decided on a 2008 Electra Glide Ultra Classic. Eric never tried to sell me over my budget and I appreciate that. After buying my new ride I was given a tour of apparel, parts and service. Customer service is top notch at Gruene! Customer for life!
On May 15th of 2020, I walked into Gruene Harley not knowing what to expect. I hadnt ridden anything but dirtbikes, and that was when I was a kid. Due to the pandemic, and everything that I do for my mental health shutting down, I found one that I wanted. Damien Cutcher helped me from the start. He walked me through everything, helped me pick the right options and insurance.Fast forward to September 5th, 2021.... I walked outside, and my heart sank. The bike that I had bought the year before was stolen... Almost immediately, I sent Damien a text. He quickly got the information together for me (on his day off) and got me on the right path to getting this resolved. 23 days later, and I walked out with another bike.These guys dont just call you a part of the Gruene Harley Family, they treat you like it. You arent just a sale... you are a person, and you are taken care of as such. I cannot recommend this business, and more importantly Damien enough.
My husband and I could not live without our Gruene Harley team. After our accident they took care our bikes, were genuinely concerned for us and helped find new motorcycles that were better than our originals. We love these people!! We had a great time in support of the 3rd Annual Guardians of the Children Fundraiser hosted by Gruene Harley Davidson. The day was long and hot, but well worth the cause of supporting our local youth!
I was visiting the area from out of town. On Friday evening my Sportster suddenly did not want to start. Took it in on Saturday morning and they got me back on the road within two hours. The service department and the mechanic were courteous, informative and prompt.

I had to spend an hour on the phone to get everything figured out with them. Bike broke down and took it here. They transferred me back and forth 4 times trying to get me to the service department. Then, service hangs up on me in the middle of me telling them what I needed done. I call them back after all of that and they transfer me 2 more times to someone who could give me information on my bike. The only reason I didn’t give them one star is because they were as nice as they could be to me. I knew it was a sign when I first bought the bike from there and they never sent my plate. They only sent it because I had to call them.
Nice looking dealership tucked off I-35...a nice change from the same cookie cutter dealerships you see nowadays.Parked my sled and walked in the front door and was immediately greeted by 3 different ladies who were all professional and polite. I was asked if I needed anything in particular and I told them I was just browsing but thank you. I found a couple t-shirts with the best design of any Harley Davidson dealership Ive visited so far!I highly recommend visiting this dealership and really enjoyed my visit unlike my visit just north of here at the other Harley Davidson dealership. Like night and day in the service.Gruene HD may be small but the are huge in customer service!Good job everyone!

I went to the store before closing hours and i went to the restroom left my sunglasses and stay there for an hour until they closed, i returned the moment i got to my car and they dissapear, we were the last two on the store and the last person that entered to the restroom was the tendant lady...Worst experience, here. My experience with Gruene H-D was awesome - they didnt have the bike I wanted on the floor but sourced one from another dealership and had it ready for me to pick up within a few days. Damien was knowledgeable and professional, I got a great deal on my trade, help from the parts dept. on upgrades I wanted to do and the paperwork took just a few minutes then I was on the road. Gruene H-D gets my highest recommendation.

It was different than normal because your computer system was down, which caused your staff to change the way they conduct business. My parts guy was informative, helpful, and professional. He was able to work around the computer glitch and help me. Both girls who completed my purchase worked together, which made the process more efficient. They both maintained a smile during my purchase process. You are fortunate to have quality staff that is hard to find these days. Keep up the great work!
After calling three other Harley Dealerships to fix my bike and being lied to by all three so they could make a quick buck off of me, Eddie and the team at Gruene showed a level of service and class that has made me become a loyal customer! Eddie arranged to pick my bike up from my house at no charge. Raymond was at my house an hour later to load my bike into a trailer.The other dealers all told me to tow the bike in myself. When I asked for quotes none of them would tell me a price just “anywhere from $400-$800 depending on the time.” The part I thought I needed was $280, and it would take less than 30 minutes to swap and link, yet I couldn’t get a firm price?Eddie’s team had my bike in the shop less than two hours after I initial called them. Turns out I didn’t need a new part after all and Eddie only charged me $50 for the labor to get back up and running. I went ahead and bought extra parts I wanted since I could now afford to buy them, then went and spent another $100 inside on more gear, all because Eddie and his team treated me like family. The service department even stayed late to finish so I wouldn’t have to make a second trip out later in the week.I will never go to another Harley dealership in Texas. Gruene Harley is superior to the rest!!

We went in there to buy a t-shirt. Were in town to sight see. I left my husband alone for a few minutes and guess what happened? Eric (salesperson) found him!!! LOL And we ended up trading our bike for a newer one!! Eric is a very good salesperson. He was very nice and helpful. Great customer service! Well take a ride (in our new bike) to the store to buy any accessories.

Good people but a little slow
There great people there I was run off the off the road on loop 337 by the high school in 2016 they were there 10 minutes after all the emergency services arrived.they loaded my harley and me took me to the dealship.i broke 5 ribs and fractured my sternum.but repaired my bike in about 2 to 3 weeks.and I picked it up and drove home.Andy

I recently purchased an 05 Heritage Classic at Gruene Harley and was extremely impressed by the staff and operation as a whole. I have never been a fan of dealerships of any kind and was not looking forward to the ordeal that I knew was coming. The experience turned out to be completely opposite of what I expected. Jay and his team were extremely professional, well organized, and most importantly, straight with me. I would recommend to anyone looking to stop here first. During our conversation I mentioned that I would be taking a job in the Japan, and that the mens Vanocker leather jacket was my idea of the perfect jacket!Unfortunately, no matter where I looked in the country, I could not find the jacket. Id been looking for at least 3 weeks, and lost hope of ever locating and purchasing it. Thats when Alicia stepped up and urge me to give her a chance to see what she could do.
