Visited PGR for the first time last week. Even on a rainy afternoon, this shop was so incredibly inviting and warm and cozy. It has the ABSOLUTE BEST selection of books. A perfect spot to visit and pick up your next great read!!

I visited this bookstore for the first time today and it is a real hidden gem. Their space is great and they have a great selection of books (cookbooks, fiction, nonfiction, childrens books, etc). They also have a study/reading room area where you can sit and read or bring your laptop. I think they also do events like readings and comedy shows. I am so glad I found this place and will be going back soon.

After one interaction, you will see why Oprah Magazine picked them as one of their Best Black Owned Bookstores in the Country! I made an online order and had some issues with my debit card (I was using an international bank card to order a gift for a friend who lives in New England). A true community bookstore and book space! There is an amazing selection of children’s books featuring diverse characters and authors. An amazing adult selection as well. Whatever is not available at the store can be ordered online and delivered to you! I was always proud to bring friends and family by to visit to the store pre-covid and look forward to doing so again when it’s safe to browse indoors again.

The book I ordered arrived quickly and in perfect condition; I was impressed with the selection and the prices and they did a great job keeping me up to date on when my book would be delivered!
