I love Breaux Mart.Its the right size and they carry many quality products you cant find anywhere else, like St Dalfours jam and Whole Grain Bays English muffins.They also have a better baking aisle than Rouses, in my opinion. The staff are always friendly and I have never had a bad experience there.

Ehh. I was expecting more after having visited other locations. I picked up a case of mountain dew and the box broke because it was molded so bad. I looked at other drink packs and they also had black mold on them. Disgusting and unsanitary. Also went yo get some Hola Nola tortillas and they were all over a week past their due date. Cant recommend this location

Very convenient store and staff is nice, but they dont make sure expired items are off the shelves.In the last year of shopping there, we got home on three separate occasions (that we noticed) with expired items. Once it was a bottle of chocolate syrup that was over a year out of date, a couple of months ago we purchase Atkins bars that were almost 6 months out of date, and today I realized the refrigerated pudding that we purchased yesterday is a month out of date.

Google maps stated they closed at 9pm on Sunday and they had a paper sign up they were closed at 7, which at 7:01 you should let people in.

Quick and convenient spot to get a few food necessities needed as youre heading home from work or to pick up a tasty and inexpensive sandwich and beverage for lunch (lets face it, lunch spots on Magazine can be pricey!). Lines are usually short and the staff is friendly.

Breaux Mart is a local chain store, similar to Rouses.The staff Ive encountered have always been pleasant and offering of assistance. A bit too pricey for my funds when items I need arent on sale. But thats me.I do visit for sales.

I dont know who was on the cooking staff for Thanksgiving 2020 but we ordered the preprepared turkey, oyster dressing and sweet potato casserole with the request it be done on Wednesday morning. It was cooked perfectly, according to my mom and I thought it was really yummy as well. Worth the price and super convenient.

Lots of fresh flowers and plants, a food bar with offerings from cat fish to carrot souffle...lots of choices.

Really like our neighborhood store. I even follow the FB page. I thoroghly appreciate the way they handled the Covid situation and how they seem to have a positive environment for their employees. They award their employees and celebrate graduations and birthdays publicly. I prefer to shop here than any of the other local grocery stores.

New Orleans is my second home. This Breauxmart location is great. It has great walk-ability for local residents or parking with security on days that I drive. Always clean with a wonderful selection of seafood and local spices. Friendly staff with great customer service. Certain items may be a tad bit pricey as compared to chain stores. But, if we continue to support local businesses. I’m sure we’ll see a decline in those items.

Just a tad over priced, but I always find what I need.

I really like Breaux Mart, including this location. They have a huge parking lot with someone usually monitoring it. So I know my car is in good hands. I like the selection this local grocery store has. They always have nice looking produce at a decent price, and their deli food is usually yummy. Meat always looks fresh, and sales are good. So they have a permanent place on my grocery rounds.

On new years eve they had everything I needed for a last minute shindig where there will be plenty of shannanys... but I think they spelt bro wrong.

Great local New Orleans grocery store. It is not as large as some, but they are always very clean, well-stocked, and the employees are very friendly and helpful. One of the things I love the best is despite only having six checkout stands, they are always all open and the checkout personnel are friendly and extremely efficient.

Although its basically only a neighborhood grocery store, it has a wide variety of options/brands. Moreover, it has a pretty delicious selection of recently cooked hot plates from which to choose. The cashiers and other employees are also helpful AND friendly. I further like the always present police presence. A REALLY great store!

I went to Breaux Mart this morning and couldnt find the cheese I wanted. An employee heard me talking about it, had me write down what I wanted and told me theyd have it in by Monday. Then he realized they did have the cheese and he showed us the selection. Great service and Im really impressed with their organic selection.

At checkout, with 8 pork chops, some cider, a bag of vegetables, some couscous, and a box of salt, my friend saw the total and exclaimed, All that food for $17??We cooked cider brined pork chops this evening, and have enough left over for the rest of the week. Im grateful for this store as it is conveniently located and houses quality products such as local eggs, and Louisiana products like boudin and shrimp. Great Quest bar selection that I devour. I patronize this store weekly.The customer service and checkout is a mixed bag. I have encountered 2-3 very friendly accommodating attendants. Several others have not performed highly.For instance, recently I checked out. The attendant was chewing gum with her mouth open and clearly disinterested in her task or her customer. She didnt know the code for okra (understandable because it is an uncommon item) but she was was quite slow in trying to obtain the information.She then rang up a product as (tangibly) higher than how it was advertised in the store. I told her about the difference but she replied with it rang up as $8.99 without looking at me and kept ringing up the other groceries.The price was eventually resolved but to keep it (somewhat) brief, my needs for efficiency, respect, and appreciation as a regular customer were not met.I admire people who hustle to crush at their jobs in service of customers. I do not blame the young lady per se, as teenagers with this mindset are rare (and schools often encourage a do the minimum approach), but Breaux Mart would improve as a business if it began to inspire a go-getting attitude in its young employees.Also, the credit card swipe doesnt work right a solid 20% of the time.Overall, I love the prices on some great products. 99 cent avocados (sometimes) is awesome. Hoping commerce can step up and not cave to a non-chalant attitude.

Good neighborhood spot for most things I need. The staff are great. There is a really nice security guy who loves dogs and will keep a close eye on then if you need to stop in while on a dog walk.I avoid Breaux Mart during the holidays, though, because they play the worst, most saccharine, updated versions of only the most religious Christmas songs. Its all candy canes, Jesus and auto-tubed Jingle Bells. Makes me queasy.Otherwise, its fine.

I love going to breaux mart because they often have cuts of meat that others dont always carry (tri tip roast / oxtails, etc). Its a small store though, so its better to go for basics & without a definite list because they dont always have everything.To those complaining about a boot on your car, I highly doubt they were able to put one on in the two minutes you were gone. There is always a security officer on duty, if you really and truly were only going to be gone for a few minutes, you should have let him know.

Someone in management should teach all of your cashiers not to put heavy stuff in the same bag as bread! They all do it and it drives me crazy!! Overall its not horrible. Its really convenient because I live right around the corner but if I didnt I wouldnt go there. Its definitely not a grocery store for people on a budget. Everything is pretty much double Walmart prices. I understand its a small store but a lot of us in New Orleans arent exactly ballin out of control. Its there when I dont feel like making the bus trip to Walmart just for a loaf of bread... which is usually squished.

Some stuff is cheaper than rouses.CHECK THE MEAT, I bought a Rack of ribs that was labeled good until 7/20 but when I got home I noticed another sticker that said good until 6/30. The meat was bad.

Convenient location with parking lot, has a great variety of quality products without being overpriced. And theres a good amount of ready to eat meal options, including fresh sushi!

Breaux Mart is my local grocery store, and while I dont go there for everything (read: Rouses had better prices and/or selection on some items), the Breaux frequently has great sales on meat and produce. Plus the staff are always willing to go the extra mile to meet my needs.
