The ladies at the hot food counter are very rude and unhelpful. But the cashiers are friendly and fast. Great place to find good food, cakes and speciality groceries. You can send money, buy a tortilla press, fresh meat, so many things. I love ideal but those women at the food counter are a pain to deal with.

Great place to get beef tongue! Super authentic Latino market jam-packed with salsas, sauces, produce, and beer...this place has it all! You can even get a plate of hot food, with big portion sizes. Thanks be to God for my johnny on the spot impromptu translator. Guess he felt sorry for me... I asked for the menu. Tuh. He said, heres the menu right here (pointing to the label in front of each food dish in the kitchen... Hello talked about embarrassed, the brown face turned BEET RED, well maybe not, but you get the picture.Everyone I encountered was nice, friendly, considerate & patient (which I need lots of). Like a community of family & friends.I was floored once I stepped in, to hear the Latin music overhead and the bulk of the signage in Spanish... I knew then Id frequent this place to bone up on my Espanol; just call me The Bilingual Babe!!!!Nos Vemos!!!!

This is a great neighborhood Mexican food store. Reminds me of my old neighborhood in Chicago. They have a panderia and lots of selections of pan. Have aisles full of all your favorite Mexican brands, tons of tortillas, fresh vegetables frozen foods, fresh meats and yes... hot food also. They also do money orders.

Horrible place!!!! I will never go there again, I ordered a side of ribs and all I got was 2 small ribs in a small container for $8.95, at $9.99 per lb, I thought that was crazy so I asked how much is it for a place with sides, I was told $9.99 so I said “ok give me the plate with rice and beans, I was given a plate full of rice and beans and a piece off the slab, the part where there aren’t any bones just a little meat, fat and cartilage, sad enough I had already purchased two other plates for my coworker so. This place is rip off!!!

Very cool small market frequented by non English speaking locals from Honduras and Mexico. Very enjoyable atmosphere, fresh exotic foods and great prepared foods from the Latin Americas..like corn tamales and roast chicken, lots of pork and beef dishes as well as fish soup. Delicious. All to-go. Will do large orders for xmas...or whatever. One star off because the food servers dont speak English.

Its an ok place. My main issue with this place is that the isles r so small and they really dont speak much English so its annoying trying 2 communicate with the staff. Its a good place seeing that Im Caribbean 2 find ground provision thats fr the island. The taste isnt the same but its better than not having it at all.

Good store. However after earing chicken nuggets yesterday I got violently ill. There appears to be bad chicken all over.

Theyre fajita meat...sheesh. Get it cooked from the prepared foods selection or go over to the butcher and get a few pounds of it raw for your grill. DELICIOUS!

I went to my neighborhood Ideal Market, market #2 to get my food happy on......Wow!!! I was shocked....the rotisserie chicken...the chicken that I came for....gone!!! I didnt even see the rotating chicken on the back wall of the grill area....the ladies are still grilling but...carne asada - great for those - that didnt go to the store to pick up delicious succulent...Red hued chicken served with roasted green onion and jalapeño....all I needed to do was pick-up tortillas and salsa verde....left with a slice of cake, a hot plate with yellow rice, pigfeet and tortilla....delicious dont get me wrong....just not what I had my heart set on....still awesome, great place, try the hot food....even if you dont know what your ordering, you still cant go wrong!!!! A Must Go!!!
