Awesome market, beef brisket sausage is incredible. Great lunch while I have a 12 smoke rolling on some beef ribs. I will be back.

Found a large variety of meats, Will definitely be back again. Great service and an extremely clean facility. I highly recommend this place. Prices are very reasonable as well. I live 4 hours from New Orleans, and will.most likely take a day trip just to.come back to shop.

This use to be my favorite place to get red meat. But the last three brisket/sirloin tips I bought werent labeled as stuffed with already brown veritable. And you can cook stuff flank steak or sirloin tip just any old way without getting sick, ask me how I know. I can say my dog has been very pleased with the last $150 I spent.

Drove all over the city looking for someone who sold beef ribs; not those little things in the grocery. After driving around all day ended up being at Chriss right around the corner the whole time. They were delicious.

There was moderate foot traffic in the store today. They had all of my favorite meats pre-packaged and the pricing was reasonable. They a a really good selection pre-cooked sides too. This was my first time going to Chris, but it will not be my last. I really like this place!

Great space for Special Occaision entrees. Yes, capital letters - be ready to spend some coin on deeply memorable meats. They also have an amazing selection of pepper jellies for good prices. Plus side items like Mac and cheese, jambalaya and the like. Stuffed chickens galore, filled with all sorts of tasty stuffings like sausage and shrimp Sometimes, our special occasion is Tuesday😉, and you know, because youre worth it...

Tonight we stopped by Chriss Fine Meats for the first time. Got a seafood artichoke packed by Sallys in Gretna. Absolutely delicious and loaded with good stuff. Not skimpy.Also picked up some boudin (yet to dig in) and pork cracklin. Had a choice of pork or chicken. The cracklin was very good.The lady who was working was nice as can be. I saw her help a fella carry a bag to his car. She was very kind to my son (gave him a candy).Definitely a new happy place for us.

The chicken cracklings was too salty! Please ease up with the salt!

Hands down worth the drive great Boudan

The prepared food is delicious and convenient. You can also order your whole pig or alligator for your parties. Our recent order did not arrive on the truck as scheduled. To say that they went above and beyond to ensure we had our gators on time and ready for our party is a huge understatement.

The best cracklings in the city!

Fantastic place to get fresh food that will satisfy any appetite. Very clean store with amazing selection of fresh, frozen, and dried meats. Courteous sales clerk. She filled my ice chest with ice for my haul back to Texas.

All kinds of quality cuts of meats. Picked up beef short ribs on the bone and some baby back pork ribs!

First, let me start by saying that the owner is super nice. He has no problem telling you about the entire inventory, and explaining the proper ways to heat, defrost, or cook anything in the store. The selection is top-notch. Every type of Boudin you can think of. Stuffed artichokes are fantastic. If you want Gator, hes got it. If you want meat pies, hes got it. Hes got all the bases covered and has every type of Cajun cuisine you would want.

Best boudin and cracklins in the city. This is by far the only place in the city of New Orleans that has cajun products that are comparable to the Acadiana area.

The fresh stuffed chicken with sausage was so good I can’t wait to get it again!! YUMMY.

Purchased Angus Burgers, Eggplant & Shrimp Stuffed Chicken & recently a Green Onion & Peppers Stuffed Pork Roast & all were delicious. All reasonably priced, also. I added a few spices to the roast, including apple cider vinegar, red potatoes & carrots, threw it all into a Dutch oven & it was amazing. Like, hurt yourself eating seconds & leftovers. Friendly staff & great customer service. During one visit, I was offered a sample of Hogshead cheese & was given some for home. I thought it added an extra touch to their previous great service. Going back this week to pick up a roast for my folks!

I will probably never shop anywhere else for my boudin or tiger sausage. My favorite is the crawfish boudin, pork boudin and tiger sausage. The first time I went in the market a nice gentleman gave me some excellent pointers on preparing all the sausages and ways to serve them. Excellent advice given. Came back home with my carry on stuff with the goodness of Chris,s Meat Market.

This place has all sorts of interesting and unique meats, etc. Their fresh, hot boudin sausages keep me coming back.

For customer service only: arrived late into town to escape the fires in California and stopped by to ask if by chance any Turduckens were left. Literally laughed in our face. We are very thankful for Gourmet Butcher Block’s amazing Turducken that we are enjoying today as well as their kind staff.

Literally just left New Orleans to go back to Memphis. Always try to get boudin from a legitimate place and this is it. I lived in Jennings South of I-10 and always ate boudin and Cracklin‘s. This place hands-down has the best Cracklin’s in Louisiana probably. Didn’t know they could taste that good.

Great speciality grocery store huge selection of dishes ready to cook both frozen and thawed. The also have the best hot boudin and cracklin around.They are not an all purpose grocery but if your looking for Cajun Creole ingredients and meats you cant beat them.

We drove in from Pensacola just for the turducken! I cant wait to get home and have the crawfish & rice stuffed chicken that we picked up while there too.

Its like going to a Cajun meat market without leaving New Orleans. All kinds of sausages, including boudin, stuffed chickens, stuffed pork loins, alligator, and well seasoned beef. It may be a little pricey but you dont have to drive to Thibodaux!
