Barber, grocery store, great home like prepared food like any New Orleanian, and small laundry room. Many many amenities to come. The owner is building his business a little bit at a time, ( if such a lingo), while trying to bring back slow growing community in the LOWER NINTH WARD.
REAL NICE OWNERS & WORKERSIF YOU LOOKING FOR A HOME COOKED MEAL THAT YOU CANT GET AT HOME OR DONT FEEL LIKE COOKING STOP BY THEY ARE GONNA TAKE REAL GOOD CARE OF YOU
Convenient location friendly staff hot food delicious I love the chicken and shrimp fried rice
Galvez Goodies has the best Snow-Balls in the city of New Orleans. It is one of the few businesses that has opened in the Lower 9th Ward since Hurricane Katrina, and its the only place to purchase any kind of fresh fruits or vegetables in the neighborhood, and they will be opening a fully functioning produce market and grocery store on August 29th.Its a great place to get nachos, hot dogs, hamburgers, cold drinks or any other snacks and goodies you might want on a hot day. They specialize in frozen treats. The frozen cups are incredible! The staff is extremely friendly and personable.
